My time at the pippin was exquisite! I ordered a burger and chips that came quicker than I expected for such a busy period, the food itself was as on point with a healthy portion to match! 9/10 I will definitely be retiring to the pippin no matter what the event! Shout out to my chef for the evening , Fred! I know his name as I asked to personally tip him myself for such quality food and being so well looked after. If you’re looking for good food please look no further!!

Management and staffing clearly very poor - not enough staff to accommodate punters and restaurateurs. Booked a table for 22 people but when we got there the poor staff (3?) were overwhelmed with people at the bar. Another group of people had been waiting an hour for their food. When we were 'finally' served (Not staffs fault) to book in for our table; our reservation had to be double checked as staff couldn't find it. My buddies and I decided to scarper. Will not bother again unless they can get staff to accommodate for clearly; a very busy pub. Not impressed as it initially hindered our plans for the evening. We avoided the Brewers fair for the same incompetence. Once bitten...I generally never risk going back and never did in relation to other pub mentioned. Conclusion: Nice pub: if you can get served! Food wasn't great, some really over done, some cold, microwaved..really disappointed. Pudding was stale (muffin). Fruit salad out of a tin ☹..No heating on and it was 2 degrees outside, toilets need updating, no locks, broken seat. On the plus side the staff were great, polite and cleared tables quickly.

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star after our visit tonight we ended up with having money back for 4 meals 3 of them not cooked properly and one not even being brought out the waitress was so rude and nearly burnt 1 year old baby and had no care in the world about it then every time she came back and walked off again with a sarcastic comment about nearly burning the baby and when notifying the manager he didn't care one bit that the food either didn't get brought out or wasn't cooked properly and didn't care about the awful actions or attitude of his member of staff plus didn't even come and deal with our complaints himself just kept sending messages back I'd advise people to avoid the establishment as you will not be treated with the respect that you deserve and any problems that you have will just be shrugged of by the manager and because he didn't like a comment that my partner made he then banned her from there but didn't have the audacity to come and tell her himself he sent a message via someone else that was with us. This will be going to head office and maybe you should give your staff some retraining on their customer service skills as I believe she doesn't have any and really shouldn't be working in a customer service industry with the attitude that she does have

My god the signature burgers were amazing. And with BOGOF Thursday 2 of them cost £9.70. Bloody tasty

We booked for an 18th birthday for 22 people. The service was amazing from start to finish. We all ordered food. Everything came out correct considering the large order. Every meal was cooked perfectly. :) we enjoyed looking at the new function room. Can't wait to book again in the future. Thank you all so much :)

First visit for 40 years ! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food order arrived in a good time. No loud music, so conversation was easy. Would recommend and happy to return another time.

Can't say that I have ever eaten here, but pop in quite often for a quick drink.. Bar staff are always friendly and accommodating. Good variety of drinks.

I went there on 15th November for a birthday meal with my wife and son and now today I have received a 100 pound fine for parking in the pub car park. Outrageous. Since when do you have to register your car reg to avoid a fine ? It is not something you look for when using a pub car park. I expect many people have fallen fowl of this con.

Excellent service. My friend and I go here for a catch up every few months, we had the sirloin steak which was perfectly cooked just to our liking and then the chocolate trio for dessert. We had a lovely evening. Nothing was to much trouble particularly Shannon who went that extra mile. We will be back.

Service was good, good was grate and well priced, generous portions. Small things let's it down. Table was stickie, the union jack behind the bar was upside down, which particularly stressed me.

Lovely family meal here for our family of 14. Staff were friendly and food came quickly. All meals were cooked well and full of flavour.

Had my mum's wake there 😪 and on Saturday my husbands birthday with family, also we eat there in the week very often. Yvonne is amazing and does everything to make you have a lovely time and very accommodating. All staff are lovely too. X

I visited the new Pippin Pub at Ansty Rd, Coventry CV2 3EY recently. The atmosphere was pleasant, and the interior was well-designed. The menu offered a variety of options, but the overall dining experience was average. Service was decent, and the pricing seemed reasonable. While it may not stand out as extraordinary, it provides a casual option for those in the area.

We don't eat out often, but chose The New Pippin randomly. We weren't disappointed. 3 meals all plentiful and cooked to perfection in a good time frame. All staff were pleasant and very helpful. Clean tables, cutlery and glasses. Plenty of parking. Good choice of tables. Will definitely return.

Just been for a millionaire burger, my god, hats off to the chef fast but deliciousservice.. tasted amazing. We are all full up and very happy. Lovely staff and the place looks amazing 👏 😍

We had a really great time. It was my wife, my baby girl and myself. We found a nice cosy place for our girl to sleep while we enjoyed the food. The food was cooked fresh, tasted fresh and was piping hot. We ordered breaded mushrooms, tacos which were quite spicy, Mac n Cheese and Hunter's Chicken. It's was lovely food, and perfect. Couldn't have asked more on what they gave us. Perfect dinner night for us. Special touch was when the host greeted us at the end. Thanks you.

Had a family member 60th birthday meal. The staff closed an area off for us and decorated the area for us. The meal was lovely, and the kids enjoyed theirs as well. Nice atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and polite. Will definitely be going back. We'll worth a visit.

I really had a great experience dining at New Pippin last night. The food was amazing! So fresh and delicious.. I literally finished every bit of it 😋 The presentation of food was excellent. The food served on sizzling plate was lush. Perfect hot food for winter night. This was my 2nd visit and I must say it's always a delight to visit there. Staff and place itself are so welcoming. Many thanks. I will definitely visit soon.

Nice pub, friendly staff. Good choice of beer and always sport on the telly and music on the juke box. Food is nice and the new menu is worth a try. Worth a visit

Food was lovely. Nice and relaxed environment to sit and enjoy your food. It was during the heat wave and the staff kept bringing us jugs of ice and they were very polite and helpful. I will definitely go there again.

Came here today with my husband for the mixed grill at lunch time. Haven't been here in around 5 year's. Service was warm & friendly. Food was super hot & really tasty. Place looked clean & table was easy to get to as I'm a wheelchair user. The waitress was warm & friendly. Will definitely return again.

Came for lunch today absolutely amazing, have not been here for ages, will be back, very soon, service great food great just one negative no coffee the machine broken. We all enjoyed the food so thumbs up. 👍

The food from here is ok although could have been better. My partners medium steak came out well done. We asked for a plain beef burger for our boy with autism and he found that they had melted cheese onto the burger and made a half attempt to peel it back off and served it. Needless to say he wouldn't eat anymore of it and it got wasted. To rectify this they offered a couple of desserts at no cost. Some desserts came after half hour wait. 45mins we were waiting until I chased the other couple that were to be free to find they hadnt been processed, they came out shortly after. My partners dessert had grit/sand like substance which she crunched on putting her off from finishing the rest of it. A neighbouring table had issues with their dessert and got refunded. The staff appeared to all be rushed off their feet even though I wouldn't of considered it really busy, maybe they were short staffed. The kids had fun in the play area. Be mindfull to make sure you register your car reg on the system at the bar for parking as you will get a parking ticket which I received on a previous visit. I do actually like this place, its relatively clean with plenty of choice on the menu with ample space for kids to play. I would recommend giving it a go especially if you have little ones

Probably turned up on a bad day, staff seemed stressed and locals seemed to have had far touch to drink. Food could have been better steak was vet fatty and chewy. Apart from that good food portion
