We would love to come back, the receptionist was welcoming and lovely. The breakfast was just how we like it, love the fact we can help ourselves to what we like, loads to chose from. It was a little noisy due to a function being on but not a problem. The views from the hotel are amazing x

Hotel located in a perfect spot for access to the NEC. Restaurant and main reception of the hotel are attractive and the restaurant food was very good. The rooms let it down abit. Uncomfortable hard mattress, worn pillows, rips in the duvet cover. The bathroom extractor fan was broken so our room was very swampy after showering! We tried switching the fan on at the isolator but it made a noise like a tune-deaf drunken goose, so we quickly turned it off again!!! There was water dripping from a ceiling vent in the corridor outside of our room door, and the wet carpet smelled of cat wee. If the issues were addressed, the hotel would be very good indeed. As it is, not sure I'd want to stay there again as slept poorly every night.

Nice restaurant, service good. Recommendations for the steak....over rated. 10oz Rump looked good but in reality was grisly and chewy! Disappointing! £21 charged despite comments about my disappointment 😒. Burgers, pasta probably a better choice. Usual wine prices, £5-£7 for a small 175ml glass. What i would pay in Southern UK which this is not! Flatters to deceive, but above average.

Attended for a meal and booked the Saturday special omg the best food I’ve ever had. Pan seared scallops, cauliflower puree, cauliflower with caper and raisin purée followed by breast of duck served pink, charred chicory, fondant potatoes & red wine sauce. This food is amazing and the service second to none. A must go and ask for the New special menu.

We celebrated my birthday party at The Strawberry Bank Restaurant on February 10, 2022. We had a very entertaining celebration in the area reserved for us. Food varieties and flavors were very good. The staff were very friendly and smiling. Even though there were other customers inside, our orders came very quickly. The authentic and high-quality design of the business was also visually pleasing. It is a business that we would like to visit again in many future events and I would recommend it to everyone.

Good place to stay but it needs some maintenance & fresh coat of paint. Basic, nice but a little tired premises. Lovely breakfast & plenty of food

Shared a lovely lunch with a friend. Lovely food, a selection of non alcoholic drinks (cider, prosecco), sit by the window for a nice view. Staff are attentive, friendly and helpful.

A very nice hotel with a beautiful garden area, also has a restaurant and the food was excellent, and there is also a bar. Only downside is cosmetic, a couple of areas could use a bit of painting. The staff were friendly and efficient. If we were in the area again wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Nice place, we stayed overnight before flying from Birmingham airport. Quiet location. Comfy bed and the room has a desk which is good if you need to do work. All in all, no complaints.

I had a wonderful stay at the Strawberry Bank Hotel in Coventry! The views from my room were absolutely stunning, providing a picturesque backdrop for my entire visit. The back patio was a hidden gem, offering a peaceful oasis where I could unwind and enjoy the fresh air. What truly made my stay exceptional, though, was the attentive and friendly staff. They went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and made me feel like a valued guest throughout my stay. I can't wait to return to this charming hotel!

We had a very brief stay after a show at the Warwick Art Centre, the room was spacious, and clean, and soon heated up when I put the heater on. I gave it 4 * on basis it did not have (or I could not find) information on the hotel and service and facilities, Nothing about the room, Heating controls, shower, spare blankets etc..local places of I interest. The breakfast was excellent and our waitress was a real treasure.friey and attentive. The location will suit many guests ,I did not get to see the grounds but noted lovely open views from resturant.

I am very disappointed to be sharing this review. My family and I are regular clients of the strawberry bank. However, our last two experiences have left a lot to be desired. Before Christmas we went for a meal and my husband’s meal was forgotten, meaning he had to eat after us. This wasn’t so much of a problem, after all mistakes happen. However, today I went with my daughter for a late lunch, something we have done before, and was very disappointed. As a coeliac, I have eaten there before with no issue. I ordered a meal as usual marked as non-gluten containing ingredients from the menu. However, I was informed that the chef was not prepared to cook the meal I had chosen today, as he could not guarantee it would be gluten-free. Rather confused, I asked if the gammon was okay to which I was told yes. Imagine my surprise when a plate was put in front of me containing just a piece of gammon with a few mushrooms and a side plate of lettuce leaves. Apparently the chef had also said he would not cook chips are they might not be gluten-free. I could have been offered a jacket potato, I could have been offered oven baked chips. However, I can only assume that due to the restaurant being quiet post Christmas, the kitchen either could not be bothered to or wasn’t prepared to cater for people like myself with coeliac disease. I do hope that this isn’t a sign of things to come, otherwise my family and I will be looking for a new regular place to eat .

Stayed here on the 21st October for one night, infact it wasn't even a night. After having had a meal in the restaurant, we retired to bed after a day of walking around. The room was very basic, but walls were extremely thin and mattress was very uncomfortable. Tried to put a blanket underneath me for padding, but was still uncomfortable. Barely laid down to go to sleep, when the people arrived in their room above us, very noisy and proceeded to talk for the next 40 mins, laughing and joking. Even heard one of them using the toilet twice. Reported it to Reception, but sadly the porter was the only staff member on duty and all he could do was to come into our room and listen for a couple of minutes and go upstairs and stand outside their door and listen, saying he couldn't hear much. After it kept being noisy at different stages we complained again and he offered us another room, which had no bedding in and also the resident across the corridor had music on. Feeling fed up and tired, we decided to drive the 156 miles home between us in awful weather, but had no choice as we were not going to get any sleep in the hotel. The Porter said he would get someone from the reception to call us back. A week later we still had no phone call and made a further call to the Hotel, only to be told that we would need to speak to a person by the name of Becky. Obviously Becky wasn't working that day so I asked if she would call me back and left my number. To this day I have never had a call back or message left. We paid £75.33 for bed and breakfast and never even got a breakfast as we didn't stay. Absolutely appalling, we will certainly not be recommending this Hotel. I hope you can live with yourselves charging that amount of money and not having the decency to return a customers call out of politeness, or even refunding the cost of breakfast which we never had.

My family & I had a another great weekend here! We love the location & our room was great! We had a wonderful holiday meal at the restaurant. Amazing food and great atmosphere! Cat was so nice in reception! We will be back soon!

Take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt - this place is excellent value for money. Approx £80 for the two of us including breakfast for one night, we were staying after a gig and the location is perfect for people going to events at Resorts World Arena. Plenty of parking, yes rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Also very friendly service - thank you 😊

A great location if you're visiting the NEC. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The views out across the fields from the rooms and the restaurant in the morning are gorgeous. The breakfast was great. Nicely cooked and plenty of choice. As was the restaurant in the evening. My only criticism is, and I know this is subjective, but the colour scheme in the bedrooms and access corridors was some what dated and in need of a freshen up, preferably with a change in colour. The room was clean and neat. The bathroom was nice and the shower was lovely and hot. Although there wasn't anywhere to hang anything. But, please don't let this put you off. I would certainly visit again.

Staff incredibly friendly and went out of their way to be welcoming. Breakfast had some good options. Lovely garden at back with tables and cornhole. Only negative is that some of the features in the room were a little dated.

The 5 stars were given last year. Unfortunately our meal in the evening was very small . The soup was delicious but very thick and didn't move in the dish! The strawberries were sent back because they were mushy. We were all disappointed with the breakfast. Nothing wrong with the food but had to keep asking for refills and again with the crockery and milk. There were no yogurts or bowls of prepared fruit. Limited choice we felt. Rooms were clean and well maintained.

Nice and clean setting. Not a huge fan of the deck chairs outside, became a bit annoying when a large group wanted to socialise together and only so many benches were available. I like the outside bar! Alot easier and a good addition. However I ordered an "extra cold" Guinness and the bar tender noted it didn't poor correctly, he put it down to the pipes over heating (ironically). Good that he noticed and knew his stuff so kudos there. So I had a cider instead. 👍🏻

Went he for my nieces 18 bday.Staff are really happy and helpful and especially went out of their way for my niece on her special day. Really nice looking place, meal was amazing. Bargain 3-6...25% on meals and starters. Gardens lovely with outside bar.

Easy to book online, receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious had tv, tea & coffee making & complimentary coffee & tea, milk & cups which was handy. The bed was big & comfortable and clean, the shower was good size, plenty of clean towels to use. Cleanliness was good. Had no traffic noise so slept well. The only thing I would suggest is they should have net curtains aswell for a bit more privacy from outside if you want to draw the curtains. But overall my husband and I would use again.

Good outdoor space and veranda for eating in the restaurant, the food was really nice (I had the burger). It came out in good time and my boyfriend and I will definitely return at some point. Nice atmosphere when we visited on Saturday with the sun shining. Thank you.

Went here for Father’s Day lunch and was quite impressed with the food and drinks. However our table was in a really dimly lit part of the lovely dining room, but a minor detail. My only other criticism would be is that the staff here are quite young and lack a little bit of experience, such as forgetting cutlery after starters and not offering condiments, again a minor detail and I’m sure I’ll return even just to sit in the wonderful beer garden to enjoy a cold Madri!

We had a loverly stay at Strawberry Bank Hotel, The staff were very friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable. Location was perfect for the NEC, being less then 10 minutes away. Can’t fault it. I would stay again if I was ever up that way again.

We have been here several times for a drink and food but never actually stayed until now. checked in on 13/05/22 and found the reception staff very welcoming, checking in was fas and simple, we ordered a breakfast for the following morning at £9 each. The room its self was clean and tidy with tea and coffee making facilities. I saw a few rev before we booked saying the rooms where dated and beds uncomfortable, in my honest opinion I would disagree yes may be a touch of paint here and there, but we slept very well although the walls are a bit thin that didn't bother us. In the evening we made use of the bar and ordered food and drinks again met with friendly faces and promt service. The breakfast was self service and it was value for the money plenty of choice from cereals , yoghurts and cooked items. The restaurant are is lovely and realy nice views

27/05/22 treat for grandchildren. decided to eat in bar area . had to ask for menu. no childrens menus given so ordered from main menu for them. told no pizzas available but on leaving noticed pizzas outside !!!!!! understand you were very busy with wedding etc but every customer counts. meals put down , had to collect our own cutlery, nobody checked on us or asked if meal was ok. maybe more staff needed that care. very disappointed.

Noise, loud and dreadful sleep. Of you are put in room 130 I advise you request to be moved. Right in front of a car park. At 6 30 loud deliveries cages been rolled around and loud taking delivery men. The staff are excellent. And room is clean and well priced. However sleep we did not get.

This hotel has a pub and restaurant attached to it both are excellent. The staff are efficient and friendly. The hotel had a few issues the door locks could only be opened with the master key. The bath panel was badly broken and filled badly with filler. There was lots of doors banging throughout the night. However as a budget hotel it will serve you well for one night.
