Stayed
here
on
the
21st
October
for
one
night,
infact
it
wasn't
even
a
night.
After
having
had
a
meal
in
the
restaurant,
we
retired
to
bed
after
a
day
of
walking
around.
The
room
was
very
basic,
but
walls
were
extremely
thin
and
mattress
was
very
uncomfortable.
Tried
to
put
a
blanket
underneath
me
for
padding,
but
was
still
uncomfortable.
Barely
laid
down
to
go
to
sleep,
when
the
people
arrived
in
their
room
above
us,
very
noisy
and
proceeded
to
talk
for
the
next
40
mins,
laughing
and
joking.
Even
heard
one
of
them
using
the
toilet
twice.
Reported
it
to
Reception,
but
sadly
the
porter
was
the
only
staff
member
on
duty
and
all
he
could
do
was
to
come
into
our
room
and
listen
for
a
couple
of
minutes
and
go
upstairs
and
stand
outside
their
door
and
listen,
saying
he
couldn't
hear
much.
After
it
kept
being
noisy
at
different
stages
we
complained
again
and
he
offered
us
another
room,
which
had
no
bedding
in
and
also
the
resident
across
the
corridor
had
music
on.
Feeling
fed
up
and
tired,
we
decided
to
drive
the
156
miles
home
between
us
in
awful
weather,
but
had
no
choice
as
we
were
not
going
to
get
any
sleep
in
the
hotel.
The
Porter
said
he
would
get
someone
from
the
reception
to
call
us
back.
A
week
later
we
still
had
no
phone
call
and
made
a
further
call
to
the
Hotel,
only
to
be
told
that
we
would
need
to
speak
to
a
person
by
the
name
of
Becky.
Obviously
Becky
wasn't
working
that
day
so
I
asked
if
she
would
call
me
back
and
left
my
number.
To
this
day
I
have
never
had
a
call
back
or
message
left.
We
paid
£75.33
for
bed
and
breakfast
and
never
even
got
a
breakfast
as
we
didn't
stay.
Absolutely
appalling,
we
will
certainly
not
be
recommending
this
Hotel.
I
hope
you
can
live
with
yourselves
charging
that
amount
of
money
and
not
having
the
decency
to
return
a
customers
call
out
of
politeness,
or
even
refunding
the
cost
of
breakfast
which
we
never
had.
