Cheesy Fries (£2.50) - Fries topped with melted mozzarella & Cheddar Verdict: The Dirty Duck is no stranger to Warwick University students as it is one of the only few eateries that serves hot food on campus. This eatery located at the centre of Warwick campus, serves up a delicious menu of freshly prepared food alongside guest ales and a great range of gins and rum. As a student here, I just had to go down and try their food 😍🦆 Despite the dim and intimate surrounding, the ambience was really lively and brassy thanks to the amazing live band. Their performance was exceptionally splendid and really brought the place to live!! Everyone was bopping their heads to the beat while munching on their food.😆 Food here is actually pretty lousy in my honest opinion. For starters, the cheese on the fries were overheated causing it to be dry and hard. Hence, it was missing the cheesiness and felt a little rubbery 😔 The burger was also rather plain and dry; no complains on the poachers chicken as I found it pretty decent. I think they could do more to enhance the flavour of their meals as the food is lacking deliciousness 😭 Portion size is quite small (I’m a big eater), so go ahead and order more, don’t feel bad bout it 🤭🥲

Cool place to hang out with friends at Uni. They have variety of foods, and the chickens are halal. I especially love the vegetable curry, and the burgers are nice too. Prices are not too expensive. The staffs are friendly, helpful, and professional.

Good place to hangout with friends in university of Warwick.. the food isn't that great but the drinks are cheap . If you wanna have a quick bite and some spent some time with friends in University with a beer ..this is the place to go Enjoy eating 😁

A great atmosphere, lovely staff and class food. Decent variety of beers and other drinks, with a couple of good ales on tap. A little pricey on drinks, but the kitchen staff are always on-point.

Yorkshire pudding wrap was ROCK hard. The defining feature of a Yorkshire Pudding is its soft and fluffy texture, as well as subtle custardy flavour. This "Yorkshire Pudding" defies all of these essential attributes, I'm sorry to say. Muller cider was nice, if not very mulled.

First time ordering food at the Duck. Surprised to say that I was impressed with the Chicken Inferno Burger. For £8, it was pretty decently seasoned and came with a side of crispy fries. Was it filling? Not for me, although I do have a large stomach. Definitely would recommend getting this burger. And there are vegetarian & vegan alternatives.

My first impressions weren’t great, as soon as I come in the table was dirty and sticky at the same time. We tried ordering a water a Cola and a coffee but it was not on the menu, I thought every restaurant sells coffee and cola then we tried to order some food but we had to wait another 15 mins for some reason then we finally ordered and our food came, the food was great not a problem with it.

Had a very good fish and fish here. Also, it was not expensive

A very convenient place to grab one, or two, or a few okayish pints from a very small selection of beers, along with average pub food. The ambiance is great and filled with undergrads, postgrads and non students alike. Quiz nights are fun and vibrant, there is a lot of space and the staff, which happens to be comprised of university students, are always friendly. Nice outdoor seating areas.

Traditional local restaurant. Do not expect any service but do it yourself mostly. Anything available you can order or otherwise try the other one. Food is OK but no hot drink. Worth to try once.

Tidy place, surprised at the prices as it's essentially a student bar. Didn't eat as there wasn't alot on the menu, and again the prices were A little high for a chicken burger. Can't complain though, nice watering hole when visiting

terrible service ngl but long shifts i imagine so i'll allow it. the cajun chicken burger is good, the classic burger is not. cheap food though so it's truly whatever. probably the best food on campus so go i guess.

It was good. I ordered pizza, meet free burger and cheesy fries. But the vacation menu is poor. Not lots of choice there.

Generally alright. Food is basic and average priced - don't expect great things but also... Its a student pub. What do you expect? It's relatively cheerful, nice(ish) atmosphere. Can get busy and wait time for being served can drag - but when aren't bars busy. I've seen students pubs with more character than this, but it's a relatively alright place for drinks and chats

Excellent service, had a miscommunication regarding gf and the staff could not have been more apologetic and helpful. Great food at a great price.

The place is not the best, but good value for money. The burger and chips were nice. Easily my favourite on campus.

Lovely pub on Warwick University campus. It is run by students. Good food & good range of drinks. Great for when you are going to a show at Warwick Arts Centre as it is only about 100 meters from there.

Ordered a vegan wrap and was given the vegetarian one with the mint yogurt dressing, I understand mistakes can happen and I'd usually let it go if they apologised, but I was first told there was vegan mayo on the wrap. After tasting the mint I politely asked the staff to check again and they were very rude about it, someone else came back to tell me it was vegan mint yogurt which I was told the yogurt would be removed to make the wrap vegan. 10 minutes later someone comes back to take my plate telling me I'd get another one, not given any apology for their mistake. Half an hour later one of the chefs checked if I got my food and proceeded to actually get someone to make the food so that was positive, although the food itself wasn't great, I think they purposely didn't warm up the tortillas which tastes dry, oh well. Be careful eating here if you have food allergies, they will lie about it, and have done before.

Good service and atmosphere. Use a QR code on the table or order at bar. Reasonable price compared to other sites on campus.
