Very impressed. Cosy atmosphere, friendly service and fantastic food.

Me and my partner found this little gem as the hotel we were staying at does not do food service until 18.30. That's just too late. We were hungry and did a Google search. 5 minute walk from Hotel . Superb Food Service And beers. The Staff are very friendly and Helpful. I must advise you that the Food here is absolutely superb. We are at the same Hotel again this weekend and are looking forward to eating here this evening.

Booked in for Mothering Sunday, the food was fantastic. Despite looking fully booked the service was excellent, never left waiting. All the staff were very friendly and overall a great atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!

Such a lovely little place! We found it by chance as we were staying closeby. We popped in for a quick drink then decided to book for dinner later in the evening, all the staff seemed extremely friendly. On our return later that evening our meal which we received next to no time was delicious. If you are staying nearby we highly recommend visiting. Thank you very much Hogans bar & bistro for making us feel welcome.

Im very sorry to say this restaurant has gone down hill. Service was very slow ( it wasnt even that busy)staff to busy outside on phones. Had nachos they were inedible just solid microwaved hard cheese no flavour to them. Large peice of pate with 2 small bits of bread, never ate just pate before without bread. Chicken wrapped in bacon again covered in the wrong cheese that goes solid very quickly making it inedible yet again. Would of had a desert but after waiting 20 minutes for plates to be removed thought better of it. Real shame this place has gone down hill had been coming here for over 15 years but not again..

Brought my mum here for Mother's Day. The food was outstanding! Staff couldn't do enough for you! It's a lovely little restaurant, I will definitely be returning again. I would also like to add how refreshing it was to see the manager mucking in, you don't normally see that! The team are like a well oiled machine.

Close to where I was staying. it had some good reviews so I thought I would give it a go. Good menu with plenty of options, food was good and well presented, staff were friendly and the surroundings were comfortable. Would go again.

Food was horrendous, had to send back some food that was uncooked, the only positive thing I can say is that the staff were lovely. Best to avoid if you want good food

Hadn't been here for years, popped in for a breakfast. Super job, if you like a cooked breakfast then you should try it.

Service good. Breakfast was just OK, friend wanted scrambled egg instead of fried, charged 90p extra. For one egg rather steep. Drinks tea/ coffee in with breakfast, friend asked for latte , didn't realise till bill came charged £2.95 as latte is not included. Come on if normal coffee is included even if a small extra charge was put on, but full price not acceptable. Mushrooms on breakfast disgusting fake some sort of tin mushrooms. Flat coke, disappointed won't be rushing to go back.

Great Service and Food, a hidden Gem for a good meal and breakfast, we stayed round the corner and had breakfast here for couple of mornings, highly recommend.

Nice little restaurant it is quiet in the less busy days and very interesting location next to a Golf Range which is convenient if you get thirsty or hungry after you can come here. Food and drinks nice but it is slightly expensive in here. Staff are friendly and helpful will return! 👍

We regularly eat here the food is great , they do a lovely breakfast, the staff are lovely , and they have a golf course too. Outside area has tables and seating, parasols for the summer. You don't always have too book but as the weather picks up it does get busy Highly recommended 👌
