Great place!! food always fresh, or to catch up with drinks with friends, its right in the centre center so perfect for exploring all the wonderful buildings and the history of this awesome city. staff are wonderful, very clean delightful atmosphere!

This is a lovely cafe/restaurant off the main high streets. Has a relatively good range on the menu with vegetarian and gluten free food available. Staff are very friendly and accommodating to whatever you need! Just need a few more alcohol free beer! I can highly recommend the ploughman's!!!!

Great fresh Sunday lunch. Never had a Sunday dinner take away before. This came on time, with minimal plastic, well packaged and still quite warm. There was plenty of everything and it was good and tasty. Definitely go for another one .

Food arrived warm, well presented and on time. Very friendly service and very reasonably priced. Will definitely use again in the future.

Great staff, great food, great atmosphere a right little hidden gem in Coventry

Food was amazing, great presentation, honestly thought they were the nicest chips we ever eaten. I must admit I'm a quite difficult person when it comes to food, but I would give 10/10

Ordered 2 vegetarian or vegan (not sure which) with brioche buns and chips (extra)! They looked delicious with loads of fried onions on top. That's until I bit into mine, it was well over nuked and rock hard, it was like biting into a damp plasterboard but my friend's was fine. I Took it back to the counter, the gentleman apologised and 5 minutes later I had a replacement without the fried onions. Very efficient and polite staff. I will pop in again for benefit of the doubt. Bottled alcoholic drinks. I have found place slightly pricey especially for the way they were served and what it is. The place was packed but very clean.

Freshly made so waited a while. Food was passable. Had no WOW factor. No ventilation so sizzling dishes smoked out the room somewhat. Drinks a tad pricey. Thumbs up they had Vegan menu though. Staff frendly

Really enjoyed our meal at Playwrights. A great mix of meat and vegan options on the menu ensures that everyone has a great choice.

Super tasty food and friendly staff. Have been here a few times, would definitely recommend. My only problem is the chairs, a tad uncomfortable if you're a big guy like me

With great sadness I've noticed last time that this place has been closed and many others in Coventry that I loved. I felt heart broken. Did anyone else feel like that? My old review said: "Beautiful little restaurant with great food and amazing quick and friendly staff, situated in the heart of historic Coventry."
