Fantastic, great service, great food. I can not recommend this place enough. A very good selection of drink and food. Service was the very best I have had any where. Not over attentive. If you are in this neck of the woods then make sure you head here. Well done and thank you all very much.

Not one to pop up a negative review as I know it must be so difficult for a restaurant to get it right every time but was so disappointed with tonights meal. Went with my wife and step daughter for a birthday celebration which we mentioned when booking. Unfortunately our starter of garlic ciabatta was part frozen and had to be sent back, the replacement was completely overdone. The mains particularly the steak were excellent. Really nice environment to dine in. Was disappointed not to have the bill reduced because of the starter. Overall was underwhelmed but judging by the excellent reviews maybe it was just one of those nights. *Update: I contacted the restaurant after they replied to my review. I heard absolutely nothing back. Poor service.

The quality of the food is excellent! We also enjoyed the cocktails very much. It's interesting, has a wide range and some very unique. The service quality is very good however I reckon it's pretty understaffed. I only see two persons covering the big section of the restaurant I was in. It is very difficult to get their attention. When I came in and was waiting for a table to be assigned, it took about ten minutes before the waitress was able to served us. Actually, I was about to give up and walk away. But because I am an avid Google Guide and that this restaurant has a good rating, I decided wanted to wait and try out this restaurant. Turns out the food was truly excellent! I was happy at the end of the day.

Came for breakfast with my friend on Wednesday (we usually meet up once a month) we were served by Amy C and I have to say she is always the most friendliest, helpful and professional member on your team. Nothing is too much trouble and she always has a smile and a kind word for us! She’s an absolute credit to you and we always look forward to seeing her. Food was delicious as usual and super quick service as always from Amy C xx

First time visit with friends from church for drinks, very impressed. Very friendly, well presented and a overall excellent venue and they allow dogs. 🐕‍🦺🙏. As a dog walker very useful.

Went here for lunch and ordered the "Fish Goujon Brioche" sandwich which cost £9.50 for effectively maybe 2 to 3 fish finger size pieces inside of a brioche bun and with some tartare sauce as well. This came with only a rocket salad with no (noticeable) dressing and that was all it came with by default, for nearly £10 - was a similar size and tasted pretty similar to a filet of fish from McDonald's, although I guess the fish is higher quality from here. To get chips was an extra £3.50, and it tasted okay overall. The actual place is inviting, clean and has friendly staff, but I feel the price is too steep, the main lunch menu averaged around £18-£19 per main dish which I'd say is quite pricey, even for Kenilworth.

We had a meal last week just as their new spring menu started. I had miso cod and black rice and it was absolutely delicious! The staff were all lovely and very helpful, explaining the new dishes to us and making recommendations. We had a great evening, but that's always been our experience there. The ambience is relaxed and is a perfect way to end a stressful day.

It’s been sometime since visiting here due to hit more miss experiences - I understand the challenges within hospitality right now. But, very pleased to say my faith is restored, delightful food and service. Will be back!

The experience was overall poor, so this visit was ultimately dissapointing. Other places on the Kenilworth high street are better. Ridiculously overpriced. Restaurant was busy on my visit, but not packed. We had pre-ordered our food. Starters arrived not fully cooked, cold and warm in patches, a friend had to return his starter it was so inedible. Starters arrived before first drinks which frankly is unforgivable. For the price you pay the quality and portion size is substandard. Two duck spring rolls to start?! You pay over £20 for a 8oz rump, with only granulated salt on the table (which was empty) instead of sea salt, and served with a tiny bit of rocket... the steak was fairly cool, the chips were good, but this is barely above wetherspoons quality. My friend had the 12oz steak which had 4oz of fat on it. A server did come round when drinks were empty to offer the next round but it was hardly proactive. When you charge big prices, you must deliver something worthwhile, and this was not.

Very busy Saturday lunch time, quite noisy but with a good vibe. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly if they tried. A little bit pricey for food that was only good, not great. An enjoyable experience non the less.

Went here for our works party. We were given a room off the main eating area which was like the moon - no atmosphere! No Christmas music playing just random stuff. Cheapest crackers money could buy. Considering we pre ordered in advance I was surprised when one starter was missing causing an embarrassing 20 minute wait for it to appear. The toast was cremated and the Brie looked like it had been under the hot lamp for an hour. Starters out the way the mains arrived. I had another cremated offering of overdone Sea Bass which was curling up at the sides and some potato thing which was not the seasoned Thai offering that I had hoped for. Onion rings followed the theme of being torched to death. Two young lads serving were polite but the chefs need to go back to catering college! Didn’t bother to wait for the afters.

Fantastic service. The staff are lovely and food has AMAZING depth of flavour, and the pricing is fair. Had the best night last night and even came back for breakfast and coffee this morning. Would definitely recommend if you’re in the area 👍🏽

Our group of 4 for dinner had a mixed experience. The menu looks great but my food was disappointing - there was only about a teaspoon of crab in my crab/poached egg/spinach starter; my chicken Caesar salad needed some more lettuce to be called a salad (!) and the chicken breast was dry and leathery. My husband enjoyed both the pork spring rolls starter and the meat pie (pork again maybe? - he’s a meat man). My mother enjoyed the chicken schnitzel. The place lacked atmosphere at 6:30pm - it’s like a warehouse and the A/C was on and we had to ask twice to have it switched off it was so cold. The drinks took ages to come. The table had a really unpleasant waxy substance on it so my sleeves stuck when I rested my arms - I tried not to think too much what it was. Didn’t feel clean. Overall it wasn’t a great experience and I wouldn’t go again as there are much better places in the town. We didn’t complain on site as my mother was treating us. I hope the feedback will be noted and specific things will quickly improve.

It’s a nice place for a drink, but I wouldn’t really recommend it if you’re looking for a restaurant to enjoy a good meal. It’s quite noisy, and the food is of average quality. The lady who served us was friendly, but overall the service would benefit from some improvement. It’s often difficult to get a drink (struggling to get the attention of a waiter, and then it takes ages to receive the drink) and both main meal and desert were served without cutlery. All in all, a decent place for sure, go and have a drink, but for dinner I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

Dog friendly, we ate light bites in the bar. Atmosphere was buzzing for a Wednesday night. It was busy, but no wait for the food.

Very nice, friendly pub with great food. The only downside was not enough bread with the camembert starter. Two slices of sourdough are not enough. Other than that, I can't fault the place

First 🌟 place was clean and modern, took a walk in with pour réservation during the holiday period very nice of them because they are busy Second 🌟 they had plenty to choose from, I had the same Shepards 🥧 pie It was almost not edible way too salty for sure, waved to return it but couldn't be bother. The fear of the food was yummy. Some vegetarian entres. Third 🌟 nice wine and beer selection, I had mulled wine 🍷 my favorite during winter. Forth 🌟 staff were very nice, smiling and quick service. Didn't matter who you asked they were happy to accommodate, so I overlooked the Shepard pie. No fifth 🌟 as there is room for improvement. Its a nice place felt very at home and very christmassy

Booked a table for Sunday lunch yesterday & was very happy with both food & service. Our Roast pork & crackling was delicious. Once we had finished we were offered seconds!! Which is a really nice touch. The chef made my son a burger- even though it wasn’t on the menu- again, a really nice touch to add to an already great experience. Staff were friendly & chatty. Puddings were beautiful. Definitely will be back. Thank you!

Light and bright interior. Great beer selection. Food was really good. Had the crazy fish special with a seabass and a cod. All was very tasty. Staff were responsive and had a personality. Random golf trip, doubt I'll be back, but if I am then I'd happily go here again

What a great place. Went in here with the family plus a friend and a dog. Super dog friendly, great coffee and fries in a bowl. Brilliant staff. Looks like a decent selection of beers as well. Nice one

Staff are amazing, super friendly always with a smile on their faces, they always go above and beyond for the customers. Food & coffees are tasty every time we visit and my little girl loves her babychino which is always finished with cute little marshmallows! I highly recommend the smoked salmon ravioli!

We had pre -booked for a party of 12, they had asked us to confirm our dinner choices from the Sunday menu in advance. I went for the Ham and Cheese Croquettes, Beef and Ale pie, finished off with the Apple and Blackberry crumble. No problem there, perfectly understandable that they'd want to know our meal choices so they can ensure they have those dishes available. Had a nice pint of Grolsch while we waited for everyone to arrive, then were seated pretty quickly. The starter was nice, and the beef and ale pie was really nice too. The crumble may have been nice, I don't know, because they didn't have any. If the point of getting people to preorder was for the Almanack team to ensure they have everything available, sadly they missed the mark on this one. I had the Cherry Bakewell tart, it was a little bit overcooked, it was nice, but it was definitely not an apple and blackberry crumble. At the end of dinner, the server was very patient while we split the bill 12 ways and all paid individually, and the staff overall were friendly, so top marks for that.
