Can only comment on delivery, food is always hot, good portions, fish has crispy batter. Would recommend. The photo is the smallest size of chips you can get.

I’ve never waited less than 20 minutes for an order to be prepared when I come here. I see countless customers, and delivery drivers, being given their food well ahead of me. Each time, we ask for three fish and chips and while we’re waiting, we see about four or five times that amount of food going to customers who have ordered after us. Not slander, just feedback.

Phoned and ask why they didn’t deliver to Shilton which is next village 2miles away?, all down to postcode apparently, our postcode unfortunately is same as balsall common which is 16miles away 🤷🏻‍♂️ please look at location not postcode, we’d order at least £100 p/m from this household..

What was once one of the best chip shops in Coventry has now turned into a mediocre one. Disappointed that minimum spend on card is £10, not everyone wants £10 worth of food when they visit. We ordered kebabs and both orders were wrong but on the way back to let them know the shop was closed.

Everything else I got was fine however the chips are rancid. They're super soggy, no crunch and they actually look better in the picture than person. They're like a very light yellow colour, chips 0/10, other things (fishcake & battered sausage like a 7 or 8 /10

Best fish and chip shop I've used in years!! The best chips, pork and stuffing to die for, cod roe, fish, fish cakes, pies & pasties, sausages.......all really good and fresh. The place is lovely and clean n tidy and the owners and staff are great. Fun friendly family atmosphere and fab service! 😄

Been my local chip shop for years, now all they seem to care about is online orders and not the people that bother to go to the shop. Waited patiently for 20 minutes after I gave my order to discover the food I ordered had been used for another online order. When I asked why that had been so I was faced with an extremely rude women who actually threw my food onto the counter. Shocking service. Would rather spend my money at another chippy further away than go back. 1 star seems too generous.

Always fresh and fast service, kebabs are a must. Fish and chips beat the seaside. Also available for delivery on just eat.

First time ever I've been disappointed with Aldermans Green chippy. The chips were like boiled pieces of potatoe rather than fried chips, the pie was only just warm, and the sausage in batter was crispy on the outside but undercooked on the inside. The only saving grace was the curry sauce!

Very rude staff need better management and communication for sure will not use this place again worst chips and not cooked well and staff need better communication for sure no good closed this shop down

Service is great chips nice but over 9 pound for two portions of chips and 2 curry sauce come on not using chip shops any more out off my reach expensive

Used this chippy twice this year while visiting my Auntie. Great food. Great prices. Lovely atmosphere, nice staff. Had food for 4 people about £20. Can’t moan at that.

Asked for a donor wrap with salad, and get just lettuce, after the woman serving wrote it on the paper, then a mixed kebab in pitta with just lettuce, get all salad on it, then ask for 2 pickled eggs, get home and open it up, and I've been given 2 onions, just brilliant

Good food reasonable price. We had scampi and chips and pie and chips with curry sauce for £13 food was tasty and hot. They also do grilled fish and kebabs. We moored up at bridge 4 and only took 5 minutes to get there. Turn right after Bridge 4.

Not great at all worst £9 spend about 20 chips and cold chicken bits forgot our sausage and no customers there for them not to remember it and real bad atmosphere between workers they don't even look at each other ... avoid if possible

Went for the scampi as it was a 10 piece deal and only got 9, it was even questioned behind the counter by the staff, but didn’t realise till I got home, hopefully this will be rectified next visit, I know it’s only one piece of scampi but it’s my favourite..

Had fish and chips from here last night worse fish I have ever had. Batter thick and very hard as if been cooked and kept in warmer for an hour never again 2 stars are for chips fish -2

This chip shop is one of the best , the portion size and quality of the food is very good. I don't live near by but if I'm in the area I will go out of my way to get food from here. Always very friendly efficient staff , which is good because the shop gets very busy. This takeaway highly recommended.

This was my 3rd time of giving this establishment the benefit of the doubt, wish I hadn't bothered, b***** rank, chips cold, fish batter greasy as hell, and NO salt and vinegar!

Great chippy, big portions and at a reasonable price! It took me forever to find a chippy that cooks their chips separately to fish (as I'm a vegetarian) and these guys do! They were very busy but staff were friendly and efficient. Only thing is that we're not local so we have to travel about 30 minutes but it's so worth it. Will be coming here again.
