We enjoyed ourselves and food very much. Welcoming atmosphere and this would not happen without Alana and Noah help too, so thank you both, Alana was helpful with the steak choice and it was delicious. We planing to coma back again.

Update 13/2/2023 Went back Milestone for a meal, it’s quite a quiet night, food we had was lovely, staff was so friendly and nice, a lot better than last experience, thank you 😊 ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Have been using Milestone for many years, service is up and down and same as their food. I had delicious food and had not so yummy food! This time my steak was so OVERCOOKED, I ordered medium rare but received a piece of tough well done steak! My friend had fish and chips and she enjoyed hers. Menu is decent, price is reasonable but I believe it’s understaff, it’s hard to get a staff to ask for sauces. The place is always clean, garden area is beautiful and great for nice weather. It’s a dog friendly pub, even inside ~ in certain area, but it’s not as friendly as some places that offer bowls of water or maybe treats / biscuits. Parking is free and plenty, not 100% sure if any time limit?

We arrived and it was busy, we waited along time for someone to even acknowledge us at the welcome desk. The food took nearly 45 minutes to arrive and we had to remind staff to check on our food. The food was fine. The young waiter and waitress who served us were very pleasant, apologetic and effective at delivering the food; we were given a set of free drinks to compensate which was a nice touch.

I sat outside and I don’t like the noise of the traffic going by all of the time also the service wasn’t helpful they didn’t say to get Cuttery yourself if ordered though the app also it took over 1 hour for our food to get here and yet it wasn’t even that busy and they brought out the child’s food 30 minutes before they bring ours out

Menu has changed for the better, lots of choice and the food was tasty. Hadn't realised how popular the pub has become and the restaurant was all booked, but we luckily found a table in the bar. Also liked that you can order from your table...especially useful if you are just wanting a drink if the bar/till is busy. Service was good, no long waits and staff were pleasant. Will definitely be back.

The waitress was very warm and welcoming, she made us all feel very welcome. All throughout the evening she looked after our party really well. The food was excellent and all arrived nice and hot. My own meal which was a rump steak was cooked to perfection and was an excellent piece of meat. All round it was an excellent night and enjoyable experience. Thank you for a lovely night.

Nice that the milestone is dog friendly. We had a good and well priced meal. The pub is Marston's owned and, as expected, Pedigree was the main beer on the pumps. Nice selection of wine. Friendly staff. Food took a while to get to the table, but the pub was busy, which is a good sign. Overall not a bad place to stop and get a meal and a drink.

Ny son and I cycled here from home and sat outside in the beautiful sunshine for a gorgeous meal… staff were friendly, helpful and attentive and we had a wonderful evening soaking up the summer sun. We’ve not visited for a while but with the delicious food and fantastic service, we’ll be returning again very soon! All our thanks.

The food was good, and the staff waiting on where friendly. Wait times for food, though, are a bit wild. It took us over 2 hours to have starters, main and dessert, with a good portion of that time waiting for the food. The Service team was excellent, with wait times from the kitchen. It was also busy, to be fair, but it did seem to take a long time to get the food out. I would happily return, though, but I may pick a less busy time.

We used the voucher and had a family meal. Service was friendly and attentive. Good bounce off drinks and food. Kids meals were a good size and pizza was delicious. Food was well presented and tasty. We didn’t feel rushed and overall was a good experience.

We went for a family meal and it was great. Service was prompt and excellent, the menu was good and the food tasted great. The selection of beers was also good. We've been many times and it's never let us down.

Food was lovely. A long wait but the staff member on duty ‘Noah’ did an amazing job. Very polite. Constantly checking on everyone. Was so busy and he was the staff member for looking after guests upstairs. Up and down all night and still a smile on his face and a hard worker

The welcome we received was tremendous, particularly so as we were unsure whether we could take our small dog inside. There was no trouble in this respect. We ordered food and drinks and sat outside in any event. Customers were equally welcoming, and the food of excellent quality. It will not be the last time we visit, despite living some 15 miles away! It was certainly a big improvement from the last time we went a couple of months back ,when after a very long wait around an hour we decided to leave and have a takeaway. This time although still a little wait , we had a starter which was excellent, the main course which I had surf and turf although I had to have sirloin because there was no rump steak I honestly thought it tasted great and was cooked m/r has I requested although the steak could have been a bit warmer as it was only just about warm , I will definitely return.

The staff here are always great. They deal with our order excellently and interact with our children in a respectful and interactive manner that makes them feel very welcome. The food is always good too and at a price that is not going to break the bank.

Booking is easy online. Staff are and always have been friendly when had to call up to change a booking, or amend on the day we arrive. Staff are very welcoming, accommodating and flexible and I have never had a poor experience when visiting. There are a group of us who all live an hours drive away so we use The Milestone as our central meeting point for our get together and catch ups from 4 to 8 times a year. Food has always been lovely with a great menu selection. We always look forward to the festive menu and are already booked. Great place, lovely atmosphere and ideal for a drink or meal or both with friends or family and is child friendly and provided a warm welcome and excellent customer service.

Due to the 30% voucher offer the Restaurant was extremely busy, with at times a 45 minute wait for main course meals. All the staff worked together as a team, I have a military background, and they all gave of their best helping each other, without any panic or stress (perhaps there was in the kitchen, but I didn't see it). Service and manners was 1st Class, with each staff member working like an army knowing what to do and when to do it. Tables cleared asap. The food was excellent we had 4 different mains on our table and all were quality, thanks

Staff accommodated our booking for in the bar area as we had a dog. Added blue light discount to our order (as it doesn't come up on the app). Very polite, friendly staff. Came up and gave our dog some treats after asking if they could. Nice food. Nicely decorated for Xmas! Kids enjoyed playing with the Battleship game available too

This is a pretty acceptable place for lunch, it's not the best food but for the price it was acceptable. Never order a steak from here though it was tough, gristly and barely edible. Everyone had good portions and the service was good, but food took a while to arrive despite not being busy when we arrived. If you want somewhere cheap and cheerful then it's fine anything more then there are better places around.

We had a lovely meal celebrating my mums birthday, our waitress was absolutely wonderful and a credit to your company. The food was hot when it arrived and there was plenty on each plate especially the mixed grill and cod and chips, my chicken and bacon salad was lovely but they don't have any salad dressings only olive oil or mayonnaise. We have just one complaint that the drinks are quite expensive so please bear this in mind if you're on a budget.

We hadn't booked and appreciate that Sundays are a busy day. We got seated within minutes and service was quick, food was great. Cauliflower cheese is delicious but a few minutes under the grill would brown it off (wouldn't stop me having this though). 100% on quality of food.

Just been for our 3rd meal so that speaks for its self if it was bad I wouldn't keep going. Iv not had a bad meal once . We go as a family of 7 and and my mother had 1 bad meal where the beef was a bit fatty and the big table is loose and the top rocks if your not careful. The bears and wine is good and normally priced. I'm definitely going aging. Easy parking and access and the staff are really nice and polite so really enjoyable.

Had a wonderful meal today to celebrate my birthday. And want to thank the couple sat on table facing who paid for my meal . Was only told when I asked for the bill was told the couple who were sat opposite paid for it. I have no idea who they were . But it restores your faith in humanity and thanks.

Food was amazing we had the roast beef Sunday lunch all fresh veg cauliflower cheese fab, Yorkshire puds great, and the gravey was proper gravey and delicious, staff very friendly and welcoming, will definitely go back 😊

We visited here twice during our stay away. Both times were a pleasure. The waitress was accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The food is great value for money.

Lovely pub. Good food. Nice atmosphere. The garden was decorated beautifully with Xmas lights, perfect to sit out in the summer.

Food was okay, but the service was very slow. Empty plates on table but staff walked straight past, we waited a long time for our sweets to be served and the strawberry sponge pudding came and the custard had a layer of skin on it. This isn't good enough guys will not be back.

Our server was very pleasant and polite, happy to fulfill any requests. The meal was produced in a reasonable time and we weren't hurried into choosing a desert. The food and drink was all of a good quality. We would be happy to visit again.

Roast beef was dry and baked and cauliflower cheese was baked on to dish so hard. Knife wouldn't cut through food. Very disappointed as gravy was nice.

Steak overcooked. Medium rare was barely pink and medium was brown throughout. Served with half a mushroom and half a tomato all at top price because of bank holiday. Chicken breast on pasta dish was black on the underside and measly portion of pasta.

3 of us visited the milestone after 5 a side, every table outside still had used plates and glasses on so had to clear them onto the spare seats ourselves, waiter brought the drinks out and said he’d clear the plates but never bothered. Ordered the meals, 2 out of 3 were missing ingredients! My chicken burger was well over cooked. Wasn’t even a busy Wednesday night hate to see when it’s packed

Not a great experience 3 out of 5 meals were brought out wrong which meant eating separately. Food was very bland too say the least, no flavour at all, didn't taste fresh, won't be going back there unfortunately, it's a shame because the pub looks lovely but the food massively let's it down. The place was virtually empty so you'd think there would be no mistakes really.

Staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. We were a large family group (ranging from grandparents to young grandchildren) and they happily catered for all our dietary needs. Also as an Easter treat all the children were given a creme egg (grandsons loved the option to have an Oreo one). A lovely meal in friendly pub.

Half the menu was off due to staff shortages (the pizza oven) in my opinion would have been better keeping that open as the rest of the menu was weak and once served of poor quality. This 2 star is only based on my resent visit, staff, borderline rude and poor food. Previous visits had been good

My wife, our two sons and I went along with some friends and their two daughters for lunch. Building looks nice, smart and clean. The staff were always friendly and smiling. The food was great pub food. Empty plates all round. Prices were reasonable. We all really enjoyed our lunch there. Very much looking forward to propping up the bar one day.

I went for Christmas meal with my team mates. Food was good and staff are very friendly. There is dely in servicing food, even though we preordred. They reserved top floor place for us, so much festive feel, enjoyed it..

Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. The staff were very efficient and service was in good time. Children aged 7 and 9 both enjoyed the experience. Some sort of table top activity (colouring, puzzles) would have been useful, to encourage the children off the phone. Will definitely be back.

I was treating a relative to a meal out for his birthday and we both found the occasion highly enjoyable. We liked choosing from the tasty menu and having a lovely relaxed atmosphere in which to savour the meal and have a long leisurely chat.Your staff were pleasant and welcoming the prices not too bad at all. NB the chips were EXCELLENT!
