Delicious food and helpful staff. I would suggest booking a table from before. The food all tasted wonderful, however depending on individual some dishes may be too spicy. The staff were attentive and took care of the bbq when it started to burn a bit. K-pop music played throughout the evening and the vibe was enjoyable. However, they do close strangely early, with a 10 pm closing time. When I was still eating at around 9:40, someone came and cut up my meat without asking me, almost like a passive aggressive way of telling me to hurry up and get out. They also forgot to get us some essential items such as tongs to turn the meat, and we had to remind the staff of this. It was also a bit difficult to catch the attention of staff at times. There was also a hidden service charge, which was around £7 per person and shocked us as we had calculated the price of the meal beforehand. On the whole, a nice experience with good food and atmosphere, but be prepared to spend a fair amount and go early.

Fun experience! As a non Korean this was a great experience! We fancied something completely different, so why not cook your own food at a Korean BBQ joint! The menu had a wide range of choices, whether that be meat or vegetarian & Plenty of side disses to accompany your choice of main (tteokbokki being my favourite!) We had beef rib eye and chicken thighs for our meat which were both delicious. The steak was sliced ~1cm thick so cooked very quickly on the hot coals, it was so juicy. Accompanying dishes were the squid (very different texture to what I’m used too, it was ‘snappy’ in texture not soft). Tteokbokki was deliciousssss, chewy rice cakes covered in a hot spicy gochujang sauce, so so good. Garlic covered chips, the best chips ever. If you love garlic. Get these. The waiter didn’t speak great English, but that’s not a problem to me. We worked out what we wanted by pointing to the menu! Very good evening out! Would definitely come again, especially with a group of friends so we can order a couple of beer towers!

Absolutely amazing. Good prices. Great atmosphere. The meat quality was amazing. And everything was so tasty! Staff were friendly and a lot of attention to all the details. Overall great experience!Great place to go!

Great BBQ experience, it's actually in the centre of the table and you usually cook your the meat yourself to your liking (although as we were new, we had help from our hostess!), there's eggs and cheesy sweetcorn on the outer area of the bbq plate for you to serve, the hostess was really very helpful and explained everything to us really well (thank you!! :) ), I will be back again soon! 30/03 - back again for Meat platter with BBQ chicken thighs, sticky Rice and Glass noodles, my family were really impressed and is an experience like no other, tasted great and we were all full from what we had, great meal!

Amazing experience! The quality of meat is really good and the barbeque it makes even better. Nice atmosphere and be prepared to smell like smoke once you get outside the restaurant. If you order the meat platter, will arrive with some sides which are really good but also you can order more sides if you want. The cocktails are really big and tasty, highly recommend to try this restaurant and their barbeque.

Fantastic place! The food is great, the KFC is great but it could be more spicy. The meat options for the Korean BBQ are very well thought and varied. My only complains would be that they had a so called sesame oil that tasted as plain neutral oil and that the standard BBQ add-ons could be better, surely pushing you for getting the premium options.

Can't fault them. Everything from the meat to the sides was of good quality and tasted great. Service had the right level of attentiveness without being overbearing. As is with popular places, they can get very busy at peak times which will naturally lead to longer times for being sat and served.

Not impressed. Visited for my birthday after reading such high reviews of the food and wanting to try something new. We ordered the meat platter and found the meat full of fat and very chewy, for £35 this offered very poor value and we did not enjoy this dish whatsoever. We ordered the dirty KFC as a starter, this tasted alright, but had rock hard popcorn included that nearly broke our teeth. The meat platter arrived before our starter which I found odd. Also the restrooms were filthy. On a positive the staff seemed very friendly, and the place was very busy. I won't be returning again though.

Very cozy Korean restaurant in Coventry with and excellent customer service. The meats are very fresh and juicy and tender. Dirty KFC was very delicious and gold combination of spice. Definitely a good place for Korean BBQ. I will come back here for sure on my next visit to Coventry. Staffs as very friendly and helpful to chooae a good meal.

Totally recommended if you're craving for Korean food in Coventry. I love the 더티 치킨 (Dirty KFC) and 김치볶음밥 (kimchi fried rice). I wish they put more kimchi in the fried rice, tho. Would love to go back for other dishes!

Decided to go for Korean and went to this restaurant. Full on a weekday so must be good. Managed to get a table although we didn't make a reservation so couldn't try out their BBQ grill menu as fully booked. Overall lovely and cosy atmosphere with great menu choice, full of flavour. The Bulgogi beef was tender pieces of ribeye steak, fried chicken had a crispy coating and juicy inside, the Oyster pancake and Japchae was my favourite there. Will be heading back for the grill menu next but will be making reservations first.

Amazing food - everything we ordered exceeded expectations! They were definitely worth the price. The atmosphere was also good; even though it's a open plan, but it wasn't loud at all. Surprisingly, the extractor worked super well without deafening us!

I have seen lots of videos online of restaurants in Asia where the customer cooks the food and have always wanted to try it. I was very excited to find we have such a restaurant here in the UK during a work visit to Coventry. The staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate our large group without a booking (please don't make the same mistake as us and instead book in advance!), we were shown to a table and after a few minutes another staff member turned up to add the coals to our grill. The menu is extensive with a wide ranges of meats to cook. The food arrived quickly and we were able to start cooking our meat. The food was delicious and easy to cook, but it is important to make sure the food is cooked throughly before eating it (this isn't too hard and you get the hang of it quickly). A bowl of boiled rice was a perfect accompaniment to the rich meats especially those marinated in soy, garlic and ginger. The overall experience of Jinseon was fantastic. I really enjoyed the social aspect of cooking the food with those in our group and the taste was amazing. The meal was quire pricey but I think it was well worth it.

Went here today for so food after going climbing. Arrived at 2:33pm. On arrival they told us we had missed the last orders for the kitchen. Which was 2:30. To be fair and really, Fair play to them they found us a table. We ordered the Meat platter, Dirty KFC. Rice and a Tofu doisot bibimbap. The food arrived very quickly. I have never had an eating experience like this before. A BBQ in the table.! Wow!! This was right up my street.. The food was amazing. I have never eaten food like it before. Makes British food look like McDonald's. The staff where really good. Friendly and polite. Would definitely go again and recommend.. Thanks again for finding us a table.

It’s always nice to visit this restaurant to enjoy yummy Korean food. The Korean spicy fried chickens are tasty. The staff are friendly and proactive. They were caring and efficient. Thank you for providing us the excellent service. The environment is amazing with different Korean pop songs as background music. The washrooms are clean and up to standard.

Great food great atmosphere. Reasonably priced food quality food. portion sizes on the main meals are big and you can box it up for home. what more do you want. 👌

Food here is absolutely gorgeous, I had fireworks chicken and belly pork bibimbap. I have had the barbecue here too which was divine. It gets busy. You can choose knife and fork or chop sticks.

The food is some of the best Korean food I've had. I've been here many times and will continue to go back in the future. The downfall is the service, 50% of staff are lovely and 50% are not. Some very accommodating and some not. Tables can range from secluded, comfortable and friendly, to in the middle of the restaurant with metal seats and being knocked into by servers regularly.

We popped in for lunch so didn't have the at-table BBQ. Our choices were good and the food was tasty, well prepared and came quickly. We watched a group enjoying the BBQ; it looked fun and we'll be back to try ourselves. Note that the location on Google Maps is wrong. I've tried changing it but they're refusing. At the moment Maps gets confused when you get nearby

Great food and a good choice. Quite pricey, But good fun cooking your own meat etc exactly as you like it. The coke ice-cream float was pretty much all crushed ice and not good value at £4:50( possibly £4 can't remember which)

Fantastic marinaded meat, delicious Korean flavours and very friendly service. Loved this place and evidently so does Coventry, the place was buzzing with customers and I can see why. Excellent value and great fun cooking for yourself over hot coals, all safely and sensibly handled. I can't wait to go back!

A fantastic dining experience. The food was delicious and the staff were very attentive and helpful. We chose the mixed platter which arrived quickly and came with several sides, such good value for money. Enjoyed it so much and would definitely go again if I'm ever back in Coventry!

What an experience! The interior looks cool although nothing awe-inspiring. But this is because the tables have function beyond the usual! A barbecue is placed into the table and used to cook food right in front of you. The staff were friendly and kept on top of asking us for drinks, etc. Speaking of drinks, there's a lot on offer for a restaurant, with some nice typical eastern beers, liqueurs, etc. But the reason for the five star rating - the food itself. Sublime. The meats are delicious, the sides and starters are unreal (the tteokbokki was incredible). Will be going again, sooner rather than later!

Great food, great atmosphere, great service! Delicious! It's nice to try to cook the meat by yourself with the BBQ, obviously it's either well done or burned with the heat 😁. Waiters were always there to help and to make sure we didn't burn anything (like the restaurant). Lovely for family and friends, the only minus is the lack of choice for deserts, ice cream is not sufficient. Would come back and recommend 100%

Lovely place and a great experience, had a meat platter which gave you a choice of 4 different styles of meat, all were spot on, served 2 people easily. Whole thing is perfect for a friends night or family night out.
