I wanted to try this place as it was highly recommended. I found the food average in taste. I ordered a scone with my cappuccino and it tasted like something I could get off the shelves at a local supermarket. The cheese on my Croc Monsieur was bland. The place is decorated extremely nicely and it creates a relaxed and cosy vibe. The food and coffee is presented in extremely appealing way. Overall average food and coffee in a beautifully designed shop presented nicely.

Nice atmosphere and vibe, really enjoy the food and the food is always brought out quickly but the taste and value is never compromised.

Decent english breakfast with tea. I love my fries with the lasagna. The fries were good, not sure if they can keep the quality standard every time, but it was surprisingly crispy. (Lucky me)

Excellent coffee and a reasonable selection of food. I have frequented the place many times since it opened several years back the staff are friendly and the food is decent not authenticate Italian but close enough. The breakfasts are highly recommended. The staff are polite and friendly

Quick service but the steak is awful it’s not fresh it’s bitter and sour weird taste.I ordered medium rare and here is the medium rare steak it’s should called over cooked 8pounds for mini pancakes? Not going to order again. Only the Hot chocolate always so good!

My friend and I ordered the vegetarian and meat full English breakfast. They were delicious with everything prepared and cooked to perfection - with high quality ingredients. At 9.30am it was quiet, but by 10.30 it was pretty busy. Great service, too. Highly recommended. Returned in July. Again, the presentation, price and quality were excellent. The Chicken Supreme sandwich was a taste sensation. My partner wanted a glass of tap water with ice: they charge £1 for ice but, personally, I don't think that's a good business strategy

Absolutely delicious Italian food The Lasagne was superb and the dessert New York cheese cake was scrummy

We were a group of 12 and this was one of the few places that could accommodate us and reserved our table as well. Staff were very polite, professional, well mannered and not pushy in trying to get us to order more than we needed. Food was made quickly, presented well, was hot and tasted delicious too. The lighting is a bit dim, but sufficient for the atmosphere I believe. Staff were also considerate and ensured all sauces, plates, cutlery etc were on the table before the food and they got a few extra plates for us as we had said that we would be sharing some of the dishes. Overall really impressed. Also, the toilet was clean and well maintained. I really loved the table as it looked like it was made from the truck of a tree! Keep up the good work.

Cracking place for brunch. Highly recommend the pancakes with maple syrup and bacon, as good as in the USA! Cool interior decor too.

Lovely Italian restaurant in Coventry with an extensive halal selection. Very professional and friendly service, lovely atmosphere with quick service, generous portions and tasty food. Recommend the lasagne!

Friendly staff, good prices and a wide variety of meals to choose. The place is very cozy and you can even eat outdoors. The breakfasts we had were very nice and big. Nevertheless, we had a crêpe which looked like it had been cooked with used oil so it tasted a bit like bacon. The rest of it all was good.

Very very busy, which is a good thing but just no seating for us, we did wait a little while. The food was OK, priced decently, but the portions were quite tiny. Lovely cappuccino though. Great for a lite lunch.

Scrambled eggs were tastes and not cooked well. The plate was full of watter... Either mushrooms or sausage must had been frozen and cooked.. Only good thing was bacon.. I was very disappointed

I absolutely love Cafe Italia. The best cafe in Coventry. Service is impeccable,the staff are warm welcoming and friendly. Your food arrives quickly. I ordered the all day breakfast and to be honest could not fault it. So tasty and cooked to perfection. The latte is frothy and tastes delicious 😋. I highly recommend. You will not be disappointed

Cafe Italia are always consistent in what they serve. Food always tastes great with lots to choose from on menu. Love their lasagne, great portion sizes, lovely salad, chips and garlic bread. Definitely can’t finish it myself so 100% value for money! Definitely recommend.

I do really like this place, I've never been disappointed. The coffee probably my favourite in town, much nicer than the big chain brands. I ordered a pizza, it was amazing really fresh, full flavour. Staff are always friendly, very welcome, and happy to serve. The appeared clean and tidy. My only criticism of this place is the toilet, as it's 1 unisex w/c. But don't let that put you off as this place is full of charm.

Nice little Italian restaurant that serves awesome food that tastes very good. Must try. Good place to visit with family, and it's kid friendly. Good options are available from breakfast until dinner. Reasonable prices and portion sizes.
