I don't know what Chef's they have but the food is amazing, I've been there several times for breakfast, lunch and once for takeaway. Even if it's really crowded, the service is quick and the food is delicious, feels like a unique style. The coffee is delicious as well and the portions are just perfect. Pros: great price, decent propotion, cosy shop interiors and very welcoming customer service. Cons: I had an English breakfast the other day and most of the ingredients are from canned foods (even the tomatoes) which is not very healthy. Today, I had prawn spaghetti and suffered a slight stomachache afterwards (I smell something wrong with the prawns). I can't complain because I got what worths for that price. Still, a firm 5 stars & hoping the owner can read this review for future improvements.

Wow! Amazing experience trying this cafe today. Service was fast and every employee had a smile. Didn't wait long for food or drinks and everything taste amazing. Lovely atmosphere, great prices and can't wait to visit again.

Staff were incredibly nice and polite. Quality of the food is average. Disappointed with the Nutella hot chocolate; all the Nutella was stuck at the bottom and by the time I had mixed it; it tasted overly sweet. The place has a cosy vibe to it. Had to ask for sauce which is usually a given for an English breakfast, and as it was relatively busy it took a slight while. Overall very pleasant visit with average food and cheap prices.

The food is good. The atmosphere is nice as well, however I do think that the customer service can do better. They just don’t seem friendly, they’re not bad people though. It’s a good place if you want to go and catch up with a friend.

I have been meeting with my friends every week at sovrano and I really used to like this place, until today, it all started with one of the staff members being rude to me and my colleagues always giving us dirty looks, we ordered two salads and both HAD A HAIR ON IT, we went inside to complain and we have been told to leave without paying for anything but never comeback again, so I get a salad with hair and I am not allowed to comeback again? Because of YOUR mistake we are being banned? I was talking with a staff member (who I must say that was REALLY RUDE and while talking to me was talking with his colleagues in Romanian) and I found that this is all because one of my friends used to work there, and himself is taking it personal, by his logic, she can’t go there because she worked there. We ended up paying for our order, because our intention was never get food for free, as they mentioned, but clearly knowing that we will not be welcome there, as it was clearly expressed. I wish I could be contacted by the manager as I wasn’t able to speak with and if something could be done about this, it’s a shame that such a lovely place with lovely food is represented by such staff and is loosing costumers because of them. It was so bad that I wish I could give it a 0, but I can’t so I am giving it a 1.

We had a great time here. The place is very beautiful. 10 stars for the decorations and ambiance. The food was nice. My pastas were well cooked but the sauce was a bit aqueous. Wasn't unpleasant or anything, I just like it more thick. Great music selection on the background and the waitresses working here are very kind. We will definitely come back here 😁

Delicious food and good service and friendly interaction. But you need to wait little long to get chips. Good spot for hangout. Tried Banana & Maple Syrup, Melted Nutella Spread, cappuccino, chips and latte

Disappointed food and service A complete English breakfast included canned tomatoes that were served cold. Cutterly has been on its way for at least fifteen minutes. They sent us the incorrect food because they misread the order. Absolutely fine. When the proper dish is served, it doesn't appear to be correct... Not what a croque monsieur is. A young woman serving was extremely inexperienced. She wasn't focused on her work, which is quite typical. But it appears that she didn't acknowledge her errors when they occurred. She didn’t informed the cashier that she had misread the order. They billed us for the incorrect meal when we checked out. "Why didn't you let us know it was a mistake order?" the unpleasant checkout lady asked. Obviously, we did. Eventually, the unordered dish wasn't charged and without any apologies. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for an interesting experience and we will definitely not coming back.

There's very little of italian in this place. Among the worst carbonara I've ever tasted(overcooked thin spaghetti served in a bowl, drowning in a white sauce probably out of a jar with bacon pieces in it) and pizza is just passable.

The staff was friendly and the food was fresh and very well cooked, at some lunch places you can get subpar service but this was wonderful. When I was in and not more than 20 minutes food was came after order. The seating was very well even inside and outside, I don't recommend to seat outside in winter. This was a great choice to sit down when you walked passing by.

A nice spot for breakfast in the city centre. Cheap meal. I had the vegetarian breakfast but honestly not very impressed with the quality of food. Mainly beans on the plate. The food was ok, but I don’t think I would come back. The orange juice was delicious tho. The staff were nice.

Traditional English Breakfast. Priced well across menu, nice full portioned plate. The food was fresh and very well cooked, some breakfast places you can get subpar service but this was wonderful. Friendly staff and I was in and out under 20 minutes. Cozy inside and nice seating outside as well. First time but I will return this was a great choice walked by it enough happy I finally sat down. Will try lunch next time 5/5

Excellent, proper Italian food. Only downside is that smokers were on any outside tables rather than a designated area (2 miles away!!) most staff a bit glum though. Could do with a more cheery atmosphere. Still.... A great place to eat lovely fresh food at a reasonable pruce

It's a nice Caffè decorated with old memorabilia of gadgets upstairs. The food I had was lasagna,salad & chips my cousin had a beef burger and chip's. It was nice, the staff was polite & the venue was clean.

Food was absolutely delicious. We are very sceptical of trying new places, on this occasion it was worth it!

Went in for a quick coffee with my wife but ended up having a quick snack aswell.Glad we did One Of the best anti pasti we have had. Will definitely be dropping by again.

We used to visit Sovrano often before covid and always enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Today we decided to head back there after a long break, expecting the same food and service. We arrived at 7.18pm to be told that the kitchen had already closed and we could only come in if we wanted drinks. Even though the sign outside says they close at 8pm. When we pointed this out, the staff said they have already started cleaning the kitchen so won't be taking any food orders. Extremely disappointed. If the kitchen closes at 7.15, then the opening times mentioned should be amended to reflect that!
