I love this place! Wonderful staff and outstanding food. The sticky toffee pudding was traditional and the best ever. I highly recommend The Old Crown!

I think it’s important to inform everybody that this establishment is one not to miss.I have eaten in restaurants/Pubs throughout England and Europe and I can honestly say that the menu here is perfected to a high standard. I believe the food quality and menu ideas make an excellent meal and the prices are just unbeatable when It Comes to talking about a menu with this much class. I just want to thank the chef for making sure everything is cooked fresh and great feasting.I do have a special mention for the waitress Sharon who made sure we were met properly at the door and made us feel at home,she described the menu items to us and helped us with recommendations and she sure wasn’t wrong. She couldn’t do enough for us and brought some banter and some chat along with the experience,In my opinion the level of service she gave us I’m surprised she isn’t a supervisor and I do hope she is valued by this establishment. Thank you again and I will be back in October!!!

Popped in for a quick lunch and the food is insanely good - everything homemade, fresh as you like. Staff were lovely aswell, lady called Sharon was diamond. Can't recommend enough for a proper decent home cooked meal and friendly, attentive service 👌

We chose The Old Crown for a "lunch reunion" with friends coming from the South and the North of England, before visiting the lovely city of Coventry: current and deserving Capital of Culture. Food was really good, and the service even better, with both Manager and staff looking after us, and making us feel very welcome. Pity I forgot to take pictures. Great place!

Nice old traditional bar and restaurant. A calm place to spend some quality time with family and friends. Must recommended. The food tasted really good.

Went today with a friend. What a wonderful find. The food was scrumptious and 2 courses for £10. Service was great too. Coffee and tea was nice. Very clean place. Won't hesitate in going back very soon.

What a lovely pub with friendly staff . Great table service. Food was really tasty good homemade meal they really did go that little bit extra. Just before we paid our bill I was ask to check it specifically as they told me the till was playin up an there may be things on it that I hadn't had. How honest most places would have just taken the money. Would recommend to anyone family's welcome .

What a really nice classical pub. I went on a Monday, so it was quiet, but not empty. They just launched their new menu, which looks great. It has all your classic pub grub favourites plus a few specials. I tried the ultimate tikka fries (only to be ordered if hungry), absolutely a must try, it was delicious. Beer tasted great, although nor much to offer in real ale. Service was fast and friendly, made to feel welcome. Great value for money, can't wait to go again

10/10 we went for mother's day 8 adults 3 teenagers a toddler and a baby the service was excellent nothing was too much trouble. 3 course's for most and all ate at the same time!! Carvery was fresh and a quick queue, same with off the menu items. For such a busy day all staff were in good spirits and even the one issue raised was dealt with instantly would not hesitate to book again some establishment's don't have the staff on busy days and food all over the place this was a lovely day and a credit to the whole team, Thankyou from us all you made mother's day special and there were 4 on the table so well done

Went to the old crown for my nans birthday meal, I think In total there was around 20 of us and the service was absolutely incredible! All of the food came out together, it came fairly quick, the food was hot and amazing quality! Our lovely server ( I forgot her name) was accommodating, she had an amazing sense of humour and it was overall a really welcoming place to eat with delicious food. 10/10 highly recommend :) x

Staff were friendly and attentive but not in your face, so perfect in fact. The food was good with good sized portions. The atmosphere was good. This was my first visit, so I will definitely be going back.

Big food portions. Food good too. Staff very attentive and helpful. Would have given more stars but the place is so dated and tired. It is in desperate need of a refurb. Then again, the prices are good so maybe this reflects this. Will go again as the rump steak I had was gorgeous.

Definitely one of those hidden gems when it comes to food. Didn't know that it did food until I got invited by a friend. Sunday roast there is absolutely heaving so you know by that how good it is. Mixed grill is a banger and their pies are good too. Beers good. Generally just a really good pub to go too.

Lovely food nice atmosphere.

Popped in for the lunch time menu. Both my husband and I had the ciabatta, BLT & Cajun Chicken. All served by our friendly server who unfortunately we didn't ask her name. Absolutely delish 😋 and lots to eat, followed by chocolate fudge cake and cheesecake. Always excellent food and friendly service. Atmosphere was warm & welcoming, with twinkling lights all set up for Christmas. Keep doing what you're doing Craig & Team 😊

Just had our Christmas meal there for work and it was amazing. Food was beautiful, staff couldn't do any more to help you if they tried, we would all definitely recommend this pub to everyone. We will be back xx

I've started attending this setting over the past month and last night had my first meal there. I must say this restaurant is very impressive. Good quality food and drinks and all staff are friendly and welcoming. Never any trouble and perfect family setting

Spent a lovely afternoon and early evening with a large group of friends. Drinks and coffees followed by various delicious meals. Very reasonably priced and very friendly staff. What are you waiting for, drop in and prove me wrong

We went as a table of 4 on midweek lunchtime and was really surprised how busy it was. They did manage to seat us and we had the lunchtime 2 courses for £10. I have to say that the food and service was excellent. I would definitely recommend the liver and bacon with mash and the beef lasagne. Both were beautiful. We will definitely become regulars but will book next time!!!!

Friendly staff, good food at a very reasonable price for the lunch special. Lively atmosphere with bingo lunch. We will visit again on our road trip from Norwich to Manchester.

Food was lovely,freshly prepared, honest and friendly staff. Went in large group and a few of them wanted pizza, staff member advised as they only have two pizza ovens it would take approx 25 mins longer for extra pizzas. So rather than have to wait they had the option to choice something else or wait. Nice beer garden and outdoor sitting area to watch TV and has cover.

Great pub! Food is always lovely and homemade, would definitely recommend! Bingo on a Monday is a nice enjoyable afternoon

Wow! This pub has been on my door step 2.5 miles away. Never thought of trying here for food. After all these years, I know now that I've been missing the best Sunday Carvery for miles around. Better than Toby Carvery. Will be coming back soon to try their normal menu with other family members. Staff very friendly and helpful. Thank you for making a lovely day.

This weekend we celebrated our friends 40th Birthday with a bottomless brunch. The Old Crown team were extremely helpful in making the afternoon a complete success. Our waitress Sharon was amazing and went above and beyond. From the moment we arrived Sharon helped us set up the tables, made fancy napkins and provided glasses for a toast ready for when our guest of honour arrived. The food was delicious, our glasses were refilled as soon as they were emptied. We handed the cake to Sharon and she completely took care of everything. A massive thank you to Sharon and the team at the Old Crown.

This place is one of the best by far.. Myself and my mum have been eaten in there 4 the last two days my mum has recently been very poorly and believe it or not this place has also encouraged her 2 get out again... And it's been amazing and the hospitality has been outstanding

Everything and everyone were absolutely fabulous. From greeting us, to serving our drinks and food, it was an incredible experience. Sharon, our hostess was friendly, professional and very attentive. The food was to die for. It felt like I was back home. I had the seafood platter and all that was missing was the sound of the waves and would be like a Greek taverna by the sea. Prices are really good. Nice atmosphere. Definitely a must visit if you are in Coventry and the surrounding areas.

Had an absolutely lovely lunch. during the week they have a varied lunchtime special menu alongside their main menu. Food was delicious, very reasonable priced and the staff where very friendly and helpful. Lovely outside secure garden, play area and undercover seating. Definatly worth another trip.
