Went to the quiz for the first time and really enjoyed the atmosphere and event, however owing to the incredibly rude bar staff I will not be returning. The drinks we received did not match the advertised quantity of ‘four pints’ and after pointing out this disparity, the bar staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. Even after the issue was ostensibly resolved, a second member of staff felt it necessary to come back to further insult a member of our party. I don’t think anyone should be made to feel so uncomfortable when calmly and politely explaining something they have paid money for does not match the description represented on the menu.

Great place to hang out with friends. They have good burgers, fair wings (too much sauce) and various drink options. However it is not a cheap place. The best thing about this place is the quiz nights. The staff is generally nice and friendly.

My first ever visit to Ivy House - I was drawn in by the live music and singing. Great to see lots of young people out on a Friday night enjoying themselves. Ideal pre-nightclub venue.

The place has lovelly terrace, brilliant for the party in the summer. Nice drafted beer and brilliant staff. Good sound system in the club which is located below the ground level.

Really loved the offer on Pan cakes. The taste was good. I would recommend this place for a quick snack. There are many other offers on other days.

A cheap nightout with mates, they’ve got offers and special prices, most of the days. Bingos and Quizzes every week with prizes if you’re into that.

Thursday game night was lit. Very relaxed environment.

The institution has an unethical policy and supports Russian aggression in Ukraine. The event they are organizing (russian disco) is designed to make a positive impression on the public regarding Russian war crimes in Ukraine.

Nice place for a drink, the 'nibbles' are a good buy. There are always special offers in food such as 2 for £10 on burgers, 3 nibbles for £10 etc. Recommended.

Great pub for students. The vibe in there is really good and the drinks are well priced too. They do a quiz on a Tuesday and bingo on a Thursday which are both great nights for students

Very chilled vibe. It’s small with two outdoor terraces. Dark nightclub vibe inside not a bar! Lots of seating on the terrace. Easy to find, parking down the side roads - we had a great night but it was for a private event not sure it’s the place to meet lots of people if you’re on a night out!
