A great place for a short stay. The staff makes the place more welcoming and ensures you are comfortable during your stay. Rooms are nice and clean. Dinner options are good, and the staff makes sure hot and fresh food is served always. Breakfast was excellent. Has parking avaiability on site and easily accessible to the rooms. Overall, it was a good place to stay in Coventry with close proximity to city centre.

Had a stay for 2nights with family and was quite pleased with the staff who are so friendly and always helpful at all times. Rooms are decent enough for the price and well maintained and clean. The staff are always ready to go an extra mile to help you with anything you need during your stay. Had a wonderful dinner with good food options. Breakfast options were good and was hot and fresh. Quiet, child friendly and had a good experience of the stay. Definitely will consider to stay over again !

Always exceptionally friendly, extremely helpful and accomodating staff on every stay. Rooms are always cleaned to an excellent high standard and are warm and cosy with good shower facilities and clean towels, condiments, etc as you would expect. Very reasonable room prices and, Teresa, the head cleaner is always very kind, professional and will go out of her way to help, if you need anything . I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anybody that is thinking of staying here !

Good location. The rooms are a little small but manageable when we come here for a day or two on business. The hotel staff is friendly but one of the managers who is at the front desk talks quite rude.

Stayed at the Ibis Coventry South for work-very handy for central Coventry. The staff were really polite and helpful, and Steve in particular was great in fixing the lock on my door! The hotel itself could do with a bit of TLC but you cannot fault the staff at all, excellent service.

I had to book this hotel last minute Because they were one of the places that would allow me to come with the pets. The staff are really really friendly and really welcoming. I did arrive to the hotel an hour before my check-in and they allowed me to check in early. The bar Closed at 11 I think, but the staff still managed to make me some food last minute for me The rooms are good and good sizes And really clean the most important I will definitely book again when I’m around. Coventry

Where to start. The location was secluded and would be quiet if it wasn't for the constant traffic noise. Unfortunately, the hotel does have a striking resemblance to every motel ever to feature in a Hollywood horror film. The room was basic but reasonable however the bed was only slightly more padded than the floor despite the additional mattress topper. The dinner menu was a minimal selection of 4 Pizzas or 2 different curries. Breakfast was reasonable. However, the sausages managed to be both dry and oily simultaneously. In summary while I'm sure there are worse places to stay this isn't going to be on my list in future. Should the hotel embrace the horror movie theme fully I feel this could be an excellent experience hotel.

Great little place especially if you are a David Lloyd member as it is right next door. Friendly staff and clean rooms

Had a reservation for which I arrived 20 minutes early. The receptionist was very blunt and not very welcoming at all. She informed me that it is too early to check in which I had no issues with. When the room was finally ready she informed me that the check out time was an hour sooner than what I had booked on the platform I used. She was not very apologetic about this and seemed like she knew there was a problem with the hours advertised on the platform and the hours the hotel provides. She did nothing to try resolve this and quite frankly seemed like she really did not want to be there. The room was quite bleak and poorly sound insulated. I could hear other hotel users walking around and talking outside. A serious lack of pillows and the bedding was a lot less comfortable than most hotels in a similar price range. Some positives, free carpark and the tea station was stocked and available in the room. Working TV and the room was clean. All in all it is sufficient for a quick stay however the reception staff really made it feel like a place I do not want to return to unfortunately.

Last week i booked a chamber at this hotel and I can say that I was very satisfied. The room is very clean, spacious and equipped with strictly necessary. Very good services and as for the Hotel Staff a wonderful group of professional and very friendly people. I highly recommend!!!

Stayed here back in 2008. Safe to say, seems nothing has been updated since, just sellotape solutions. I stayed here in Aug 2023, two separate occasions 1. Room 9 2. Room 123 Rooms do not get cleaned, even if you put the "please make" room sign. Rooms have dead insects remnants in on the walls & celings. Did raise a complaint on both occasions to which the response was "there was no mentioning of rooms being dirty on any of your stays. We normally take immediate action when our guests are letting us know about any issues. We could have relocated you to a different room and took many other actions on the spot. Regarding the service of our housekeeping department, there are lists from the date you have stayed showing that DND sign was displayed on your door so we could not go inside in order to not disregard your request.I am really sorry for the whole confusion and I would like to offer you a complimentary night stay if you are planning to be in Coventry in the future". Unfortunately I did not take pictures, so my word against theirs. I also declined their offer of a free night's stay. The place is not fit for a corpse, let alone a human being.

Quite a tired place, a motel feel to it with the rooms being a separate building with external doors. However, the rooms themselves have been refurbished to the usual standard and the staff friendliness makes this a good place to stay.

Found the staff more than helpful, just a little disappointed in the condition of the rooms , they look well used. I thought it was a bit over priced for the standard of the rooms

This place was always a bit "fun & quirky". However, it's now tired, dated and falling apart. The curtain was hanging off the rail and didn't reach both ends (it had to be tucked in to stop it falling off). The loo flush was hit & miss as to whether it actually wanted to work. The bed was truly awful - the legs were so wonky, it was a miracle it stayed up; the mattress was a tiny "mat" perched in the middle of the bed, was under-sized and rock hard; the sheets and duvet were like sandpaper and the pillows were the thinnest things I've ever seen. It was, without a doubt, THE worst night I've ever had in a hotel. The outside lights are those horrible florescent tubes that invade your retinas and stay on all night long, adding to the insomnia; they're not needed and should be replaced by something calmer and a warmer light. The collection of dirty linen and trolleys adds to the ambience as you come through the dated stairwell. The whole place is just in need of a full refurbishment or rebuild. For Β£75.05 for the night, it did NOT represent good value at all.

Stayed here for nearly 3 weeks and had no issues whatsoever. Rooms are spacious and they provide breakfast as well. Mayank at the reception was of great help and ensured everything was in order at all times.

What excellent value for money. Far exceeded my expectations. Staff very friendly and helpful, the room small and basic. But everything you need, spotlessly clean. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. Looking forward to my next stay.

Stayed at the Ibis Coventry South last night as we were visiting for a festival. Staff were lovely, in particular the lady on reception, she was so friendly and polite. Room was practical, comfortable and clean, overall would definitely recommend.

Rooms are basic but functional, twin single beds I assume with the ability to become a double bed. Shower over bath with a sink and toilet. Free WiFi with excellent speed. There is a restaurant and the food smells nice and also a bar. Location is a little out of the way to find just by postcode.

The staff here work very very hard and are very nice and pleasant people. The hotel is very basic, a bit spit and sawdust but served us very well with a clean bed, shower, toilet etc. Dont expect luxury. I will again however sing praises to the staff.

Thank you so much for the special welcome and excellent treat you gave me during my visit. Letting me stay at your home really made my trip memorable. Once again, thank you for being there for me and for giving me good services during my stay.

Came for a quick getaway. Had a lovely time among the peace and quiet. Food was also great, with quite a few options to choose from. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay a very pleasant one. A small tip: follow sat nav or else locating this hotel is a bit tricky.

The team on reception were exceptional. They asked me if I would mind having a twin room, as I am here for work and alone it was no problem. The room is very clean and modern. The bathroom has plenty of space and is newly refurbished. The hotel grounds are a bit like walking onto a motel movie set but really are fine. Parking is great, plenty of space. Missing a hairdryer in my room is my only issue however the heat this week.... my hair will be dry in an hour. Great team.

Fair rooms, clean and comfortable. But the breakfast is really bad in terms of quality and quantity (containers empty!) And food replacement take too much time.

The place has got a few bad reviews but to be fair the room was very clean it had a small bar in the reception area and did basic meals and was very reasonable price for a two night stay so over all I have to say it’s value for money and the staff were very helpful

Clean room, bed a bit on the firm side, but staff very hard working and helpful. Good breakfast. Loved the location, it was an oasis of peace and calm with lovely trees all around and birdsong.
