This a beautiful, busy park. There are two play areas for children and there is also a delightful fairy garden to explore. There is a small pond area that is fenced off but can be accessed through a gate but you cannot let your dogs in there due to birds nesting and frogs spawning. There is a little coffee hut on certain days, I'm not 100% sure, but I imagine probably on weekends and bank holidays. There is ample, free parking and a couple of disabled parking spots too. The public toilets are by the car park but, obviously, they haven't been open recently. It is an enjoyable walk around the park with paths all the way around with little slopes here and there. Dogs are welcome under close control so as not to affect the enjoyment of other park users.

Great park, with free parking. Dont rely on Google maps to get you to the right destination, enter the nursing home for your destination! Fairy woods is cute but too many dummies hanging off the trees now! Park is great for all ages and lovely walk around the area

A lovely place to escape the city and stretch your legs. It also has the walled garden, where enthusiastic volunteers grow old vegetables. There is a playground for kids, sadly no cafe although a kiosk was there in the summer selling drinks.

The park isn’t huge but I normally like to run around. Has a nice sized play area for children.

Lovely local park with plenty of space to run, play, relax, take in the great outdoors or walk the dog. Easily accessible on foot, by car or by bus. There is a free car park open from 7am to 8pm during the summer months. The adjoining golf course has toilet facilities which are open from 9.30am until 4.30pm. The is pay to play mini golf, a reasonably sized well equipped children's play area, Fairy trail, walled garden, pond, wildflower meadows, Park zip line, and basketball hoop. Further across the park from the carpark and main entrances there are football fields with goal posts.

Another large park with complete playground. It's really perfect for hanging out in evening, enjoyed the sun light. Unfurtonately, there's only one restroom, but it's closed during holiday, so be prepared!

The lake district of the midlands. Peaks high enough to kiss the clouds and Valleys deep enough to never see the light of the sun. Its many rivers crackle and whip through its ancient forests, which is where its plethora of fauna makes its' peaceful home. The delicate balance of life here its what makes it so special. Be careful though, the jewel in Coventrys crown will make its magical mark and it'll be tough place to top.

Went there for picnicking with friends, and it's fascinating to find that kind of place in Coventry. It's wide and has great playground for children, they even have some kind of flying fox. Recommended for relaxing and picnic

Decent park for the kids which is now even better since they added Jordan's coffee shop. Nice walk not too busy but park can get overrun with teenagers blocking the top of the climing frame and ruining it for the little ones.

Lovely local park. Allesley Park is a wonderful green space with plenty to do for all ages. The park has a play area suitable for children of all ages. There is also a mini golf and pitch and putt course. The park is surrounded by a path which is just over a mile in length ideal for walking or running, there are also paths that cross the park for shorter routes. On top of this there is regularly an ice cream van and a car park. Allesley park is well worth a visit.

The park has free onsite parking. There are plenty of different routes for walkers (dogs welcomed). Part of the route includes a 'fairy village' which has been created by the local community (see pics). The childrens park is well maintained with a toddler area fenced off. Highly recommended as one of Coventry's better parks.

Great park, playground is nearly as good as the memorial park and nice paved circuit around it. No cafe but often ice cream vans around and a lovely little fairy garden for the kids as well as the added interest of a walled garden for those of the older persuasion. Next to a main road so not peaceful.

A lovely park for a dog walk. Good parking on two sides. Large enough for a 45min walk. Can get a bit muddy / sodden in areas.

Allesely Park was once a beautiful deer park. The original owner left Allesely Hall and the park to the city of Coventry. For many years the grounds-keeper lived there and did a great job at maintaining the park. However, in their greed, Coventry council decided to sell the Hall to a private care company. Now, the beautiful gardens are fenced off from the public and the park has been left to slowly deteriorate into an overgrown, poorly-maintained mess. Huge areas of the once-impressive playing field, and other large parcels of the park have been left to grow wild, and there are countless broken tree limbs and broken branches in need of attention. Despite the many areas that need attention, those charged with maintaining the park did elect to fell a stunning Redwood, citing that it presented a safety concern. My guess is that the company responsible falsely evaluated it so they could drum up business during lockdown. The golf course is another sad story - the sand traps are always full of weeds and when the mow the fairways they never collect the cuttings. The walled garden has been crudely carved up into 4 quarters and divvied up between four warring factions of the community in order to keep the peace. One group even cut down a 200 year old weeping willow so they could plant apple trees. Disgraceful! At the same time, the fairy garden has become a depository of cast-off toys. It's more like a fairy fly-tip. Many of the fences separating the park from the dual carriageway (Pickford Way) are broken or missing, meaning your dog or child could easily wander into fast moving traffic. There are no covered seating areas and nowhere to buy refreshments or dog supplies, even though this is one of the most popular parks for dogs. What could be a stunning park and a fantastic day out, barely scrapes past average now. Coventry council have a lot to answer for.

This park is absolutely stunning, beautiful scenery and very well maintained. I grew up here as a child and it has barely changed from the 80s. It has a lot of beautifully natural meadows with butterflies and bees in abundance. If you ever fancy sitting peacefully in a field surrounded by beauty, this is your place.

Honestly, its just genrally a nice park to go to, you can take a walk around and theres tons of free feild space. Theres a golf course, mini golf course and a park with a baby area and older people area. Theres also a bathroom which is good. It has a nice atmopshere and ring to it. Its a very popular park aswell. The only is, there is some rude graffiti on the playgrounds which younger people should noit be seeing. But other than that, I would recommend this park! Not to forget, there are also many benches lot older people to take a seat and trees.

The short circular walk takes in open views and wooded areas as well as the walled garden originally belonging to Allesley Hall. In Summer the wildflower meadow is spectacular and there is plenty to interest children and adults alike.

This is by far the best park in the whole Coventry. I should not say this so it won't become overcrowded haha. I only discovered this a month ago and been there 3 times already with kids ... Playground is amazing and the park is just perfect. It's clean and beauty. And there are even toilets... Hehe. Cant wait for true autumn it's gonna be great.

Always a pleasure to visit Allesley park. Our almost 2 year old grandson loves the playground and walking the paths around the park.

Allesley Park is OK for a stroll. It has a large, formal layout with tarmac paths. There are beautiful scenic areas of well established trees and, tucked secretively within a coppice is a dell where one might see fairies and elves (shh, be quiet and careful when entering). At the top end of Allesley Park is a walled garden, once associated with Allesley Hall, the home, years ago, of Lord Iliffe, the newspaper magnate. The walled garden is well worth a look.

My local park I'm a lucky person to have so close to home. It's approx 1.4 miles to walk around the pathed edge. There's a children's playground for big children and toddlers. The zipline a favourite! There's a crazy golf, normal golf and ice creams and drinks available in the hut. The walled garden and fairy trail are lovely and there is also a little pond. The wild flower garden is stunning. There's also 2 football pitches and lots of grass to picnic on.

A lovely scenic park with many walks and areas of interest. With pitch and put and crazy golf courses. Children's play area and open spaces. With on sight facilities and free parking. This is somewhere the whole family can enjoy a gentle stroll , play and explore.

Beautifully maintained park, the golf course is very nice too. The children's play ground is also very good.

Great park which is well maintained, lovely childrens play area for good age range, which is in great condition. Dog friendly most if not all on leads, lovely walks. Onsite toilets too! Definitely recommend.

Lovely place to take the dog for a walk, there are plenty of bins to deposit poo bags. Several paths to take so no need to get muddy in the wet weather and a car park as an added bonus.

This park has a bit of everything. Come in through the main entrance and you will find toilet facilities, golf, mini golf, a playground for older and younger kids, a zip line and a basketball hoop right there. If you're looking for a quieter experience there is a path that goes round the whole perimeter where you will find a fairy garden created by local people, a restored walled garden, a pond, a wildflower meadow (in the summer) and many open fields where you can easily find a quiet spot away from everything and everyone.

Nice big park with a range of playground equipment; however a lot of this is looking quite well-used now. Pleasant to walk around and look at the pond and wild flowers in summer. Mini golf quite fun but closes at four (not five as Google maps implies).

My kids loved the playground, there is separate area for a little ones, where is quite a lot things to do. Tgere is separate swing area, zip line. Also there is golf course and great trails for a walk.

We had a relaxing picnic with our teenagers climbing trees and then playing in the park.
