Beautiful setting, well maintained, good facilities in visitor centre, many options to explore- go ape, walking trails, play areas, picnic spots. Reasonable parking charges. Majestic entrance to park, giving it a touch of royalty.

A great place to go and be outside with your family and friends! There's plenty of open space, a field where your dogs can be off lead, and then a couple of nice walking trails around the park. Lovely wooded areas and some water too. There's a kiosk near one of the ponds go buy ice creams, drinks and bird food - you can also buy food and drink at the main visitors centre too, where you will also find the toilets. Payment for the car park is currently card only I believe, and you pay before you get back to your car. There's a children's play area by the visitors centre, and there is also a play area in the woods near the kiosk. At the moment for Easter there is a little trail around the park for children to find bunnies with letters on - you can download the map online for free. It's a really beautiful place to go, especially in the sunshine!

Visited for the luminate light show was a fab night out. Took around an hour to complete. There was so much to look and do. There is plenty of food and drink wagons at entrance and mid way through and, of course, marshmallow for roasting. Massive car park, which was free for the event. All in all, it was a great night for great value. Highly recommend wrapping up warm, then wrap up again.

Not much to dislike about Combe Abbey Country park. The grounds are kept clean and the paths are smooth enough for a pushchairs or wheelchairs. The park could do with some table benches and perhaps another building comprising of WC facilities. It's nice for some fresh air and an afternoon walk.

Didn't go round the house, but I'm sure the inside was grand and spectacular. The park was excellent. There a river that goes to house. Bird food is available to buy at the park. Don't feed them bread! Great for young and old of all ages. Lots of trails to walk. Plenty of places sit, benches are dotted around. There's a Go Ape facilities. Plenty of toilets. Cafè, and ice cream parlours around the site. It is a working park, so watch out for tractors and other moving vehicles.

Simply Fantastic. Large car parking, pay on departure. Large visitors centre with various ice cream and cafe options. Clear signage and maps to find your way around. Signs to indicate where dogs need to be on a lead, plenty of forest area to chase about. Herons are easy to spot. Go ape hidden in the forest. Can recommend the red route with a dog.

I love coombe Abby. Take my two Jack Russell’s here pretty much every week. Meet friends for a walk there as well. It is an incredibly beautiful place to visit. There are a number of other facilities as well for you to enjoy. The Abby itself is a fascinating building steeped in history along with the grounds themselves. It does get busy on bank holiday and half terms so bear that in mind but well worth visiting this place.

If you have not been there yet, you should definitely go because you will not regret it and you will remain impressed by this amazing place. It is a large park with lots of fun activities for kids and adults as well. Beautiful views and plenty of space to relax and enjoy a quality time with your loved ones.

An ideal place to stop if you have a dog or young children who need a break from driving. We stopped here to use the cafe, toilets, park and to enjoy a walk half way through a 4.5 hour drive. Even though the weather was appalling, the place was great!

A nice hotel and a traditional place, it seems like a great venue for the weddings and other gatherings, the park is nice and green, loads of parking spaces with reasonable parking fees. There are lots of benches. The BBQ is not allowed though. Play areas for kids and wooden play ground.

Lovely place to take the kids and go for a walk for several hours. It is better in the dryer weather than wet though as it can get very muddy there. Has large open areas and lots of woodlands as well. The GoApe that is there is also great for the kids and the Hotel gardens make a nice contrast to the wild forests to walk as well.

Always a good day out. Lots of parking, and different trails to walk. Wild flower meadow is an overlooked nice spot near the entrance

Coombe Country Park is a wonderful place, especially for kids who love Go Ape doing different activities. It may be a historical building when you see it, but don't that fool you, in reality it is actually a hotel. There are 2 separate car parks, the hotel and in the country park. Really recommended.

Lovely place to visit, lots of space to walk with different routes of differing lengths. Visitor centre with cafe, discovery centre and toilets. Located next to a park for children up to 12. Climbing forest playground was closed, which was disappointing. I could not see this shown on the website. Go ape is also in the grounds. All in all a nice day out

Went bank holiday Monday lovely walk around the park. Go ape looks amazing. Shame about the cafes, went to 2 main ones, both had 1 hour wait for food. Perhaps a fast food outlet could be the answer.

Excellent place to spend the day, Go Ape is great for kids and adults. Loads of things to do, from walking in the forest to relaxing on a bench and feeding the ducks.

Such a great place for walks and events! Outdoor cinema, weddings in the very majestic looking house and private gardens, go Ape climbing and lakes

Amazing place to see. The landscape is well-maintained near Coombe Abbey Hotel. The park itself is massive and a home to oaks and other hundred-old trees and hundreds species of birds. Time passes so swiftly just by feeding the ducks. I also enjoyed watching people who signed in for the Go Ape outdoor adventures.

A great day out with the family. The play area was amazing for my 8 year old neice, who has a broken leg and was able to get on the seat swing. She was over the moon as she hadn't been able to go to a playground in 4 months. The ice cream parlour had amazingly delicious ice creams and was very reasonably priced, and also, they were very big scoops.

Been here thrice - once to do Go Ape and twice more just to soak in the park sights. It's massive and lovely with sufficient parking space. We had a great day out in the warm weather (with husband, toddler). It's a minor thing, but I'd have liked the option of more than one ice cream seller as the queue is usually long. I'd say it's a very family-oriented place, great for picnics with a small outdoor area for young kids to play.

Went to the laminate Christmas light walk and it was so much fun. Lots of cool displays and interactive displays that lets you play Christmas music. We enjoyed the light tunnel, fairy woods and roasting some marshmallows on the open fires. Definitely go again and would recommend it if you are looking for a light trail for Christmas. Tip: take your own mallows as it's 2.50 for two on a stick at the fire pits.

Very nice park for the family. There is a few activities for children and adult, tree climbing, play area, throwing axes, nice lake with alot of ducks, big green space and trees, small shop for hot, cold drinks and delicious ice cream. There is toilets if need. I did not book in the hotel but I will try next time. I really enjoy it and recommend every one needs to have nice time with family go and enjoy it.

Beautiful biodiverse environment throughout the seasons - calming, rejuvenating, exhilarating. Great place for walks, bird watching (especially nesting herons), picnics, fun. Close to Coventry and Rugby; hourly buses (#85) to the entrance gate.

When the weather is like this you can really see the beauty of Coombe Abbey. Wildlife, nice walks and perfect weather, what more could you ask for ?? Always nice to walk around here and think of nothing but the beauty of nature. The paths are always looked after, the grass is always neat. The facilities are good, multiple kiosks to buy food and drinks. I'd say the pricing for food & drink is reasonable on par with most places. Been coming here since I was a kid with my parents and now I'm able to take my children around and have adventures in the wooded areas, building huts and pretending to hunt bears lol Glad this place is still goimg strong.

First time here and it was absolutely beautiful! The upkeep of the park is flawless especially considering the herds of people who come to drink and have BBQs on the sunny days. We went on the trail to get a feel of the natural environment which I highly recommend if you want to get away from the crowd. So much history and natural preserved scenes like the duck pond and streams. Can't believe it's taken us so long to go but we're major fans now!

Great country park. With lots of scenic walks around the lake and the main grounds which is great for dog walks or mountain bikes. There is also a go ape and a zip line which is great for kids.

A gorgeous country park not too far from the hustle and bustle of Coventry city centre. Beautiful colours and a variety of trees and nature to be enjoyed. We did the 2 mile walk and went into the bird house. This secluded piece of serenity allowed us to absorb the peaceful birds and scenery. Also saw Standing with the Giants NHS exhibition by Dan Barton here in Autumn 2021.
