54
from
our
football
club
(32
kids
and
22
adults)
arrived
from
Dublin
on
Friday
15th
April.
Our
stay
was
very
like
a
game
of
two
halves,
on
Friday
we
found
the
staff
very
friendly,
accommodating
and
the
service
was
excellent,
there
wasn't
enough
they
could
do
for
us
all.
There
was
3
bar
staff
serving
behind
the
bar
and
at
least
another
4
serving
and
cleaning
tables
in
the
restaurant.
On
Saturday
after
returning
from
a
long
day
out
traveling
to
and
from
Wembley
we
entered
the
hotel
to
a
darkened
reception
area,
no
staff
on,
then
to
be
greeted
by
a
so
called
duty
manager
who
very
gruffly
told
us
,
the
bar
was
not
open
tonight
as
there
was
a
medical
emergency
(
later
it
transpired
that
a
guest
fell
and
hurt
their
shoulder)
We
asked
politely
was
there
anyone
else
on
duty,
and
were
told
no
,
its
me,
and
I'm
very
busy,
again
we
asked
for
the
duty
managers
name
or
his
name
which
he
wouldn't
tell
us.
There
were
over
100
rooms
filled
that
night
...
with
one
member
of
staff
on
...
unreal
that
we
were
dependant
on
this
individual
had
anything
gone
wrong
in
the
hotel
.
We
persuaded
him
to
let
us
have
a
few
bottles
of
beers
that
we
had
and
he
agreed,
he
never
appeared
once
during
our
time
where
we
sat
altogether
in
a
small
alcove
off
the
foyer.
When
he
did
decide
to
come
out
of
his
office
behind
reception
it
was
only
to
turn
off
the
lights
and
threaten
to
call
the
police
on
us
.
This
guy
needs
to
be
removed
from
dealing
with
the
public,
he
lacks
personality
and
the
ability
to
communicate
and
gives
your
hotel
a
bad
name
for
which
is
underserved.
