Beds are well comfy, bathroom needs a thorough bleaching and wasn’t impressed by the amount of hair around the bath tub or the soiled tissue in the toilet BUT those are just minor issues. Appliances (the main phone) didn’t work so had to use my mobile to call reception. Still slept very well and had a lovely shower in morning! Breakfast was LUSH! And the pastries were top notch!

The rooms are quite clean, and the toiletries provided are good. The accommodation is a touch smaller, but the room service is excellent. I enjoyed their breakfast with a focus on vegan meals, especially the vegan blueberry croissant. One item missing from their menu is hash browns; instead, they serve potato chips, which I dislike. Everyone in there is courteous, whether it's the receptionist, the restaurant, the bar, or housekeeping. I'll definitely recommend.

Nice hotel, helpful staff, clean rooms. I stayed two nights, but spent most time at the nearby arena. So tired that I couldn’t get up for breakfast, but it smelled great, I reckon it would have been good food. That aside, there is a private company monitoring the parking. I entered my plate the first night, but not the second, and got a fine for £100 for that second night. Please enter your plate nr every night! No problem though, I called the hotel and they cancelled the fine. I paid £10 for parking each night after all, it’s on the hotel invoice. If the parking operator charged just £25, I probably would have paid and forgot about it. Anyway, I’m very happy it was resolved quickly!

Excellent customer service. Staff very friendly and efficient. As an example I arrived early for a meeting and on a visit to the toilet the cleaner was just leaving followed by I am presuming the supervisor who checked the the toilets which were very clean meticulously. Evening buffet and the breakfast were excellent.

Our stay at Holiday Inn was delightful. The beds were cozy, the rooms were spotless, and the bathrooms had a stylish design. However, they should consider replacing the outdated kettles and phones in the rooms, as they no longer match the modern amenities. I loved the TVs and the Menu of it. Great deal at this hotel.

Very good rooms which look recently refurbished. Clean and functional. Service at breakfast and at the bar was good. Breakfast itself is average, okay quality but don’t have hash browns instead potato slices which I didn’t understand. It would be good if it had a gym or pool, it looks like it used to have one but is no longer in use. Overall would stay again.

I've used the conference meeting rooms for a number of years. What makes this place are the staff. They are excellent. In particular, Jordan is amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. His customer service and positive approach is brilliant. Michelle W is also very helpful. Donna and Ewelina on Reception are also so welcoming and helpful. Thanks all.

recently refurbished, great service, and good breakfast. Rooms were very clean however smaller than you would expect from the likes of Premier Inn, especially disappointing considering the higher price in comparison. Parking is excellent and the location is both near the city centre, as well as the M6, with good amenities nearby.

The room was very small and apart from shower gel and shampoo there was no other toiletries provided.. thank god I bought my toothpaste. The AirCon in the room wasn't working and kept going up to 23°C and I kept getting up every half hour to put it down so didn't sleep well. But the area is absolutely lovely and the staff and food was fantastic!

Lovely room with a big window to watch the rabbits from! Everything you need in the room including dressing gowns and slippers! I had turkey and roast veg for tea and my vegetarian daughter had cheese and tomato pasta, with a good choice of salad, croutons and sauces, lovely desserts too, the dining area was large enough to make it feel less busy and crowded, breakfast was just as lovely, lots of choice, continental/toast/cereals and cooked, the staff were friendly attentive and helpful, would definitely recommend 👍

Carries is the most bubbly and effervescent member of staff at this Hotel. Nothing is ever too much trouble and she is ALWAYS happy, smiling and helpful. I use this hotel for work purposes at least 3 weeks out of the average month and she's consistently amazing all of the time. She is an absolute delightful human being and whatever it is that they are paying her, I can assure you that it's not enough. Keep up the excellent work Carried. 👌🏿🤌🏿

Expensive. Rooms OK albeit on the small side. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food OK but bar prices are too much. £18 for two sandwiches and that was with a discount. We used the conference facility which was well laid out. Evening function was well supported and well organised.

Good hotel, from what I heard it has a bad rep so I’ll leave that there. The hotel itself was good.. comfy room, food was really good, the bar is really well stocked and the staff were really friendly and engaging. Large car park that is free if you are staying at the hotel and it’s next door to an Asda if you want some snacks. I would happily stay here again.

Yet again we have experienced a very pleasant 3 night stay, with excellent service, care and attention . Quality breakfast and a superb day& evening menu. Must mention the Food and beverage assistant Denisa her attention to detail in every aspect was exceptional. The only downside was Saturday evening the arrival of a large group of unruly Young boys each with a guardian , they ran amok all evening, no respect at all for the other hotel guests, guardians more interested in having a beer ,next morning a bit of the same.

Quick and easy check in. Hotel very clean in communal areas and in room. Room had everything we wanted for the one night we stayed. Breakfast was really nice and a great selection would go back for the breakfast alone lol. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again

Part of a mystery trip weekend 29/30th October. The rooms were clean and spacious. My only one disappointing factor was the room was too hot. You could turn the air conditioning unit on,but it would turn off after so long. The top window was the only window that would open. No fresh air circulating. Poor sleep. The evening meal was bland and of poor quality. Poor selection. Turkey stew or Gammon. Breakfast though was absolutely brilliant. Great selection. Staff were fantastic, Tony on reception was excellent and was very helpful.

Nice and clean rooms. Tea and coffee available in rooms and Starbucks at the bar. Iron and ironing board in room, very handy. Food was lovely nothing too special but definitely wasn't horrid food. Some of the staff seemed low in mood maybe just having a bad day? But the staff on arrival were welcoming and helpful. The beds are a small double Comfortable and with plenty of pillows. Very handy to have an Aldi right next door to 👌

Disappointed the bed was only a double, but appreciated the air conditioning. Bathroom a tad tired now, but served its purpose. Breakfast ok, but little sign of the fresh fruit advertised. Nice coffee machines, but what a shame these didn't offer decaffeinated options. Location ok for trunk roads, but hardly picturesque ;-)

No gym, no pool. Bathrooms in rooms a bit tired looking, very poor shower low pressure. Staff on desk can be a rude as our group found out. Breakfast very nice. Bar prices expensive but nice area.

Easy to get to from the motorway, well signposted and good access to the hotel itself. Hit an issue on arrival when they asked for an additional fee for overnight parking, despite there being no warning or information on the booking page or hotel website that I saw. The hotel itself was clean, tidy and well maintained, and the room was easy to get to. The lift was working, corridors were nice and wide and access to the room was good, and it seemed very accessible. Bed was comfy, TV was a reasonable size and the bathroom had everything needed. It was the middle of the very warm patch of weather we had, but the rooms air conditioning sorted that out nicely. 2nd issue was encountered in the morning when the requested wakeup call wasn't made - fortunately I woke up in time to head off for my appointment, but it was more than a little disappointing to have specifically checked the box and filled in the time on the check-in form.

Handy enough location for a one-night stopover, rooms very small and very dated, but probably in line with price paid. The Queen size bed is made for tiny queens I think. More like a double. Staff very friendly. Breakfast and food overall good.

A little disappointed overall. The staff were helpful. The breakfast was good too. My initial room was very dated. There were rather significant stains in the carpet which had been attempted to be scrubbed out, but basically needed replacing. The bathtub was dirty. However the staff apologised and moved my room which was overall better. The rooms were definitely more tired than the advertised photos though! The lift had also got stuck (unable to be called - stuck on upper level), albeit no out of service sign. The staff and service were good. But the rooms really need a spruce up. Also seems a very odd place to charge IHG members to park overnight as there's already barrier entry for IHG customers only. I would understand if in the middle of a city centre but its location seems very odd to be charging an extra fee. The parking knocked it from a borderline 3/4, to 3*.

As the selected hotel for my weekend trip with Caledonian Travel I could not fault the Holiday Inn at Coventry. It is a clean, modern hotel, finished to a high standard. My room was spacious and very clean and up to date. The ensuite was also well equipped and very clean. The evening meal carvery was delicious with a good choice of food. After a good night's sleep the included breakfast was also of a high standard. I chose the full English breakfast but again there were plenty of alternatives. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. A great hotel...

Good hotel and really good meeting facilities. Great location. Don't be fooled by photos the gym and pool are closed for good and hasn't been updated. Bit frustrating as it's not very obvious so lots of people go thinking its open.

A very nice and value priced hotel. The shared lounge and restaurant areas are exceptional for a quiet but community feel. Rooms were clean, nicely sized, no frills but a clean modern feel to then. As a regular traveller I am beginning to notice that Holiday Inn are continuing to put more effort into maintaining COVID hygiene levels than many. This is a differentiator. Thank you Holiday Inn. Service was always friendly, but overall only ok. Breakfast had your typical fare, but drinks, and cups ran out. Hospitality has struggled because of covid so I have sympathy, but they clearly struggled to maintain the right level of service necessary. Location is probably very much a matter of opinion for out of town locations. For us it was perfect, 60 seconds away from the M6 J2 and you will be there. There are numerous outlets nearby for any immediate needs. I travel to Coventry several times a year, and this was my first stay here. It is my new go to location for future visits.

Overall the stay was ok. The room was clean and fairly modern, however the bathroom was less nice with some hair in the bathtub from the previous person staying there. The corridors were a bit dim and depressing and contrasted with the actual rooms. What was not so great though is the staff at the reception. I was forced to pay for the room even though it was prepaid, which later when shown was confirmed and I got a refund. The man at the front desk looked very unexcited and did not make me feel welcomed. The location was good. There is an aldi just outside which makes shopping for some necessities easy. I probably won't be coming back though.

As always, the reception area and toilets were impeccably clean. A discrete little combined heat and power plant behind the hotel show they are thinking about reducing their impact on the planet by generating their own electricity. Nice one.

For my experience so far is absolutely amazing. I have my wedding here in June and to be honest I couldn't ask for more help than what we've recieved. Staff are amazing and can't do anything more than what they give. Absolute top quality A+++++ LOOKING FORWARD TO THE WEDDING !

Had a month long stay with my family in this property as a settling in period in Coventry. I must admire the quality of service, food & professional attitude of staff in the property. Breakfast & Dinners are served very well & kitchen staff is really good. Location of the property is excellent & has pretty good supermarkets around. If at all I had to suggest something; kindly try to cover a larger variety of food options. PS : Rabbits around the hotel was the best amusement for my kid :)

Fabulous hotel. Food was beautiful, rooms were spotless & the staff were polite & helpful (especially the Polish lady on reception who was very pleased with mine & my mum's Polish words we know 😘) The only issue we had was going to the bar. 1 small wine, 1 medium wine & 1 large wine (lemonade in small wine, soda in medium) it cost almost £24!!!
