Stayed for one night while we went to a gig, just somewhere to rest our heads for a few hours before going back to Wigan. Owners were nice and the hotel and rooms we're very clean. We thought the shared bathroom would be a problem but it was really nice! Would definitely advise if someone wanted somewhere to stay for a few nights!

Lovely hotel to stay in. Rooms were tastefully furnished. There is free parking in nearby streets. Hosts are very welcoming and sort any problems out. It would be handy to have an outdoor light (didn't see one) for going out in the dark as there are some deep steps. Also the bathroom could do with updating so it looks as good as the bedrooms. Either way I'd happily stay here again anytime I'm in Coventry :)

Really enjoyed my stay at Highcroft guesthouse! My room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The lady running the guesthouse was very sweet, and made me feel welcome. The cooker breakfast in the morning was excellent. Would highly recommend Highcroft, reasonably priced for the quality!

I made reservations via phone, clearly stated the date I wanted to book, Friday till Saturday. A week later I was called on Thursday when I would arrive for the check in, I told them they must be mistaken since I booked the room for Friday. They told me the room was fully booked on Friday, I told them I wouldn't be there to check in. They made me doubt if I made the reservation correctly. I said I won't be there and I asked for the possibility of a (partial) refund, if not only for the three breakfasts I paid for. I even sent them an email to ask again, but so far no reply...

Room was freezing had a tiny radiator that was behind furniture And wasn’t even turned on in freezing weather. left me with a nasty flu staff were rude had a go at me for moving the bed an inch even though I said I’ll move it back. Shower didn’t work properly and the water wasn’t even hot. Wouldn’t recommend.

If the staff was even remotely polite I'd have given it 5stars. The location is great. Just 10min from the city center. The room and the bathroom were good. The price could be reduced a little. But seriously if the staff had just a little courtesy the place would have totally rocked despite it being a little old.

The place was near the city center and very clean. The hostess was really warm and polite. She was kind enough to let me check in before time and explained me the way to the Coventry university. Highly recommended.

I wish I could give it 0/5. Nothing about this Guest House was good, turned up and no answer at the door so we came back later on and knocked again and finally 10 mins later a woman opened the door with a rude and disgusting attitude.<br/>Room 7 Has no hot water which is the one I was staying in and a cracked mirror.<br/>And even though she gave me 2 keys, one for the front door and one for my room, when I got back there that night the door was locked by bolts or something on the door because it wouldn't open.<br/>I was supposed to stay there from Friday-Sunday. But I left Saturday morning and checked in somewhere else because I couldn't spend another night in that dump.

Absolutely horrible!!!! There was a man shouting on me !
