Quite run down, rooms could be updated. Think parts of the hotel are used to house social tenants/refugees. Breakfast def not worth the Β£6.95. Would have been better if we had booked elsewhere.

Absolutely disgraceful service. I was booked in for 4 nights as I am working in the area. They told me that I need a letter from my employer. Which I got and forwarded to them. Yet, they have ignored me after numerous attempts of contacting them, and now they have charged me for not staying. So I had to sleep in my car! Thanks a lot Shitannia Coventry Hell Hotel

The hotel and booking.com should make it known that they are housing refugees alongside paying guests. I've no issue but when refugee meetings are being held in the stairwells and corridors. Its very intimidating for couples a lone females staying here.

Room was cold , water also not very hot. Windows let the wind in and radiator worked from time to time. Room clean enough but all together bad experience.

Does not look so white in reality, the hotel seems a bit tired in the communal areas and was very quiet. Breakfast looked like it came in boxes but I might be wrong, we ate elsewhere. On the positive side that meant we slept well!! Comfortable beds and clean rooms with recently refurbished bathrooms. Bedroom had a double and a single in it so for Β£62.00 if 3 people staying its good value. But with no usb ports, remember to bring your chargers.

Not a Hotel.... is a hostel at best.... seems all the furniture that used to be in the reception area and in photos have been removed. Full of asylum seekers and refugees. Feel unsafe as lots loitering around the car park. Takeaway wrappers everywhere. Bar no longer open. Not air conditioned as advertised. Smells of marijuana fill the lift and guest areas. Room wasn't cleaned for 3 days. Did not stay for the intended duration and now requesting a full refund and reporting to Trading Standards as this is not as advertised in any way..... AVOID !

I stayed here 14yrs ago and just out of interest I thought id have a look to see if it has changed. I've also stayed at the Burstin Hotel in Folkstone another Britannia group hotel. Both are absolutely shocking filthy and outdated by 30yrs plus. Staff at both of these hostels who I came in to contact with were very rude and dirty in appearance. My room at CHH stunk of cigarettes. The company who hired us booked the hotel for us for the next 3 days so I was making my self comfortable when I discovered a big hole in the carpet as you got out of bed. So I moved the bed over only to find that it went both sides. Flies on the glasses at the bar on the bar. These are the most disgusting hotel rooms I have ever come across. They should do a reality show GET ME OUT OF HERE before I catch something. Call it a day Britannia Group PS I said Hostel not a typo

Staff are lovely especially the manager and the barman josh couldn't do enough for us. But don't expect a buffet breakfast as they don't do one as it home's asliam people . But room's are clean so that's all you need really. Bar drinks are cheaper than the pub so all in all not that bad.

Zero star rating from me. No food worth eating. No bar. Seriously overpriced. I wouldn't pay Β£30 per night let alone the grossly inflated advertised rates at reception.

Could not think of a worse hotel I've ever stayed in. Shower broken, faeces in the shower itself, food all over floor in public areas, bar didn't open, restaurant closed at 6:30pm. Avoid this place at all costs - disgusting and should be shut down.

Diversity makes it better. People are from everywhere here. The staff is good and friendly. The only thing, the room is 2 bed. Everyone would prefer a 1 seperate-1 bed room.

Didn't know it at the time, but one of the hotels, where boat loads of Middle Eastern young men are being housed. Most signage is in English and Arabic. All have mobile phones and looks like they all have shiny new bicycles. All very well fed too, considering the mountain of takeaway empty cartons, near the lobby. Room reasonable size and clean. A bit noisy at night with the Middle Eastern men talking loudly and singing.

This is advertised as a hotel but it is a facility to accommodate asylum seekers. It was clean inside my room but it is not a hotel, more suited to a hostel.

Being used to house migrants when I stayed....needs updating badly, rooms are poor and not well equipped. Shabby and in need of improvement.

As others have posted, the hotel is a bit tired and dated, some of the fixtures and fittings are loose on walls, the main table had a very wobbly time when items were placed on it. Not a great mobile signal here, that's not the hotels fault but no WiFi available as an alternative. Bed was comfy, could have done with another pillow, and no sign of the promised "pants press" in our room. Overall not bad, could be better in places but not the worst in the world

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at. Dirty, shabby, run-down, poorly maintained. Unless somebody is holding a knife to your children’s throats AVOID THIS HOTEL.

A no frills accommodation at the outskirts of Coventry. It is ideal if you are using it as an overnight spot for the NEC in Birmingham as it is a 10 minute drive away. Plenty of parking available. Not a luxury hotel but a quite place for a decent night sleep.

Although the hotel is a bit dated. It is absolutely clean and spotless. The staff are all fantastic. They will go the extra mill for you, They cannot do enough for you. We are absolutely fine staying there for work purposes Monday to Friday.

Awful. Genuinely thought I'd accidentally driven to a derelict building when I was parking my car. The two security guards in reception did little to improve the ambience. Avoid at all costs.

It's not the Ritz, but neither is the price. We arrived late and had a swift processing and off to bed. The room has recently been modernised, painted tiled carpeted etc. very pleasant. The room did not reflect reception which could do with a face lift. Now has good speed internet in the room, which was spacious. Would go back
