I am sad to say that I am disappointed enough to write a review. I came here after staying at a Premier Inn the night before and I expected this hotel to be better considering it has 4 Stars. That is why I am disappointed. With 4 Stars, I expect a clean room and consistent service. My room had several cobwebs, which is not the end of the world, but then the windowsill is dirty littered with dead bugs in the bathroom and in main room. I know you can't always stop them coming in, but even the net curtain had squashed bug stains from previous occupants. Sometimes the spoons to make tea were missing, other days it was soap. My toilet seat was broken and I requested that maintenance fixed it (instead of changing rooms as hotel was packed), but no one ever came in 3 days. Breakfast service was good, lovely staff and good parking. So it's a really mixed bag. Reception staff: some are great, others not so much. This place may have been 4 star 30 years ago, but not any more. It's looks and feels very worn down. My daughter said this place is a 2 star place as the Premier Inn was better. Seeing an ant on my bed pushed me to the point of writing this review. You can do better Best Western. This place desperately needs a renovation and at over £115 a night, they can definitely afford it.

The hotel overall is superb with fantastic views and great location giving you a short drive to the NEC. Food is standard at hotel prices but quite edible. However, and it is a BIG however; if you have one of the rooms in the outbuildings, the rooms are very small and the bed is hardly fit for purpose. There seems to be no double glazing because you can hear everything outside and there is no sound proofing because you can hear everything which is going on in the rooms around you. Overall these rooms seem to be sub standard and if you book, I would suggest you ask for a room in the main building.

Lovely welcoming, thoughtful and efficient staff. My mums in a wheelchair so we had to go outside the building to get to the public rooms. Other than this we had a lovely time. Food very good, service attentive, live music very professional and enjoyable. Mum loved her dedication and applause for being 99 😅🥰

We have just returned from a overnight spa break booked through Spa Seekers.com. As newbies to the spa experience, we really didn't know what to expect - but we were both absolutely blown away by the service we received at the Best Wester Plus Windmill Village Hotel. We arrived early ready for our treatment and were shown around by the Spa Manager, who was really helpful and knowledgeable and made us feel right at ease. Our treatments were amazing, the staff in the spa really looked after us and made us feel so relaxed. We opted for the scalp massage and I would highly recommend! When we checked into the hotel we were slightly concerned as there was a wedding party there, so we didn't want to have to be fighting with wedding guests to get to the bar or order some food. This was not the case at all, staff made sure we were well looked after and put us in a restaurant away from the wedding party. The food a the hotel was amazing and we were really surprised with how lovely everything was, it was like eating at a 5 star restaurant! What really topped off the whole experience was the staff at this hotel, nothing is too much trouble for anyone. In particular the restaurant manager (cannot remember his name but he was so lovely and polite!), and our waitress who looked after us for the evening Mia, nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with a smile. Would really recommend this place! :)

I am writing this review on behalf of my friend. My friend travelled miles and miles for a "relaxing, stress free" spa day as a double celebration for her sister's graduation and her own birthday. Upon arrival, it became apparent that the sauna was out of use for a period of time and the pool heater was broken. This was not communicated prior to and upon arrival out of courtesy. My friend stepped into the pool and was utterly shocked by the temperature of the pool. She was also the one who had to alert management. We can all accept that there are inconveniences in life, but why wasn't this dealt with appropriately when they were aware of the fault. If my friend was aware, she would have asked for a full refund prior to attending the spa and making the journey, since she did not get what she paid for. It was a bad experience for her, and not what she paid for as stated above. After contacting the spa, they suggested that she could return to use the facilities again, however after the negative experience she wishes not to return to the spa and fork out on petrol to have to visit there. A partial refund would at least be expected, if not a full refund, especially when the service was so poor. They should do better.

Stayed here multiple times and it has always been great. This time not so much. The room smelt of sweaty armpits and even with balcony door open, the smell never disappeared. The room was very run down and needed updating, ripped lamp shades, bedside lamps and lights in bathroom not working. The bed was terrible, both myself and my husband didn't get much sleep because of the uncomfortable bed. Other times I have stayed, this has never been an issue. Reception staff not really interested when I told them about the lack of sleep. On a positive note, the function staff were great and breakfast was excellent, again the staff members here were great. All in all very disappointed in our stay, especially for the high price they charge.

We booked night away as a treat. Staff were lovely from start to finish, nothing too much trouble. Lovely double room overlooking golf course the complimentary fruit platter and juice was a lovely touch. We made use of the gym, pool and sauna room. Only downside was our experience in the restaurant. It was a little chilly and not sure if kitchen had forgot us, we only ordered main meals and waited about 1hr for it, the staff were apologetic and chased it as priority. The meals were nice but not very hot. Having said this we will be returning but would probably eat in the bar area next time. It's lovely location, not far to travel and we came away very relaxed.

Loved it Had a spa and golf overnight stay ladies had massage men had golf. Win win 🤣 staff were lovely. Food was delicious and rooms were clean and tidy. Got be honest by far best full body massage ever. Pool was clean, sauna was lovely a bit disappointed steam room wasn't in order. 1st day in pool there was some very loud people with lots of children so not exactly relaxing for anyone but once they left it was lovely. Day 2 in pool there was an aerobic class going on which we were invited to join in..so nice.. we will be back

The hotel staff were very accommodating during a recent golf weekend break when I wasn't very well. Although I was unable to join in the fun, my room mate was able to relax knowing she wouldn't also go down with the bug. I would like to thank them for their understanding and patience. I was assured the room would get a high standard of cleaning after my stay. I only wish I'd been fit enough to enjoy the course and surroundings to the full.

Beautiful room with balcony overlooking golf course. All staff very friendly & helpful. Had a lovely treatment in the spa while husband enjoyed a game of golf. Excellent breakfast. All areas of hotel very clean. Would have liked air conditioning in the room but a fan was provided due to the very warm weather

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the views overlooking the golf course and countryside. It was nice and quiet. The rooms are small but comfortable, clean has some facilities. We didn't have a bar in our room and a security deposit was taken in case something was taken? We just used what was complimentary. We had a safe which was good. The robes were missing but quickly resolved. Very pleased with the complimentary fruit and soft drink. Loved the overall decor of the hotel and we really liked the restaurant. Breakfast was great. You can customise what you want also. Great choice in continental and full English. I liked the spa area, it has just 1 small pool, jacuzzi, 1 sauna and 1 steam room. I found the jacuzzi to be a little too cold but that's probably how it should be. The steam room could have been hotter, compared to what I am used to. I overheard 2 people saying that the sauna was 'cold' but I didn't try it. I just like steam rooms myself. Need to plan when to use the small pool, can get busy. Some rooms overlook the golf course and have small terraces, our did. We didn't get the time to visit the cellar bat, next time we'd like to! Lovely outdoor seating areas. Ample parking, lovely hotel - we would very much like to stay there again but for a weekend next time instead of just 1 night, whilst perhaps visiting the Warwick Arts Centre.

We stayed here for a wedding, so after arriving, we hardly spent any time in the room before leaving for the occasion. However the room was musty and full of dust. The wardrobe smelt damp and the general cleanliness just wasn't great. When we returned later that evening for bed, my goodness!! The mattress was horrendous, we'd have been better off on the floor! Zero support and springs in the back. By 5am I gave up trying to sleep and checked out early. Not that the receptionist was bothered and just took our keycard. The after sales support has been horrendous also. It took 10 days to reply to my initial email and even then Sonia (the front desk manager, apparently) clearly hadn't even read my email. I work in customer service myself and have never ever experienced such poor after sales support!

Excellent experience in staying the hotel for Christmas. Quiet and in a golf course with good view. The family room is very good with one king size and two single beds with somewhat private layout, I have to say it is the best family room I have ever seen, far more than expected by my son who thought it would be a sofa bed. The restaurant is also very good. All staff are so kind and friendly. will definitely go back and perhaps try to play a golf in the course. Highly recommended!

From start to finish our wedding was amazing. The booking process was made so easy with Olivia’s help she made us feel comfortable and took into consideration all our requests. Robert was amazing with making sure everything we wanted was noted and fed back to the ops team in preparation for the big day. On the day Antonio was absolutely incredible, he made everything so easy for us, taking all the stress away. Told us where we needed to be and helped whenever we had any questions, it was all done so smoothly thanks to him and his amazing team. The food was beautiful, the DJ provided by the venue was brilliant. We couldn’t be happier that we chose here and can’t thank them enough for such a perfect day. Mr and Mrs Dunn.

Enjoyed a one night stay with the Gin Experience. Although the restaurant is currently undergoing a refurbishment we had a lovely 3-course dinner in the Cellars bar. The food (both for dinner & breakfast) were delivered to our table hot (not always a given in some hotels). If you are a gin drinker I can highly recommend the Gin Experience. Ours was with Gordon who gave us an interesting & informative gin tasting session. We also made use of the pool during the afternoon. Lovely short stay.

Was a nice hotel. Stayed in a lodge... Number 41. Very quiet but did need updating. Dark furniture is no longer fashionable. Get rid of shower curtain and put up a screen. Really comfortable beds. Great value for money . Was able to park directly outside. Staff were lovely. Would stay again

Lovely place I have so many memories the views of their room are wonderful, especially the ground deluxe rooms with patio doors seen over the golf area. The gym was recently renovated clean and tidy and never seen it overcrowded like it elsewhere. I highly recommended it for a weekend getaway or for celebrating your special day. Even for self-treat a spa day.

I visited the spa and it was an exciting experience. I had body elements treatment (full body massage) from Katherina. She gave me a calm welcoming, and she left my body feeling so relaxed. I left with all my aches and pains well treated. She's a friendly person with high attention to detail. Highly skilled therapist indeed. I will recommend her to all my friends and definitely will be returning to get more positive vibes.

Great weekend experience except one issue. Forgot my sunglasses in the 219 room after late check out. The receptionist promised to check and call me. Didn't call me and didn't find it of course. I am 100% sure that glasses were there. Feel robbed. Anyway there is wonderful views. Great discounts for the room and late check out. Spacious room in the main building and spotless clean. Outstanding service and food especially in the evening. Pricey drinks and great cocktails. The Spa is fair. Sometimes it is very crowded and noisy when kids are in. Could be a bit cleaner. No robes (only towels) for hotel visitors. If you book for treatment you should pay 5 quid for the robe!?!. Indoor pool with sauna only. The steam room isn't working. Shame. Anyway excellent treatments reasonably priced and easy online booking. Katharina made my wife the best ever full body massage. We will come back soon and definitely will book Katarina again.

Hotel lovely. Staff all lovely, especially your night manager. Pool lovely. Excellent evening meal. Rooms let down by lack of attention to detail, dust on plug sockets, only one biscuit packet in a double room, shower curtain manky. But otherwise great stay and good park stay and fly package price

Got there for a wedding. Our room was Supposed to be ready but nowhere near. Hadn't been touched by housekeeping. We paid £30 to get in early. Ended up with a different room which was....Supposed to be better? Errr NOT! A superior room rather than executive room. Only difference was it overlooked the golf course! What a joke! No air conditioning. Only a fan, another joke! Wedding was fab! Staff did not look happy at all! Not enough to go round in my opinion. Organised chaos all round. Sooty with his magic wand would struggle to help here!

Ole Western more like. Management does not care. We couldn't find room, but neither could cleaners or maintenance staff! As other reviews, hotel is tired and overdue a refurbishment. The early Halloween cobwebs, we could have done without. When we arrived, 15min early or so, was told the rooms were not ready and to wait in the bar. Sounds promising, but not sure when the room had last been cleaned. I was told, go right and room is on the left. Felt a lemon going back and asking a third time, 'I will show you.' Well, when shown, the receptionist could not find the room either, and had to ask other staff. Remote control partially worked, needed batteries. No hairdryer, unhappy wife. Wish I had checked the shower, but should you need to? Bumped in to a member of staff holding a tv remote, I said, ours doesn’t work either. Mentioned about the hairdryer and she offered to bring her own! We said no but truly above and beyond – promote her! Early evening, we had a good time in the swimming pool with my son age 7 who wanted to revisit Sunday am before we left. He was awake 6.30am so we went and the pool was deserted. ‘Sorry, no children before 10am’. But there is no signs or warnings anywhere? ( I could have had a lie in. ) No, the pool for members only. We would go as soon as any arrive? –No! So one disappointed son – went for a walk and explore, noticed the pool was still empty 30 mins later. So went to the room of a shower before breakfast and no hot water. Breakfast facilities and other staff were good. Complained, as I checked out – receptionist couldn’t care less. ‘I’ll get the maintenance staff to look.’ Somehow, reading previous reviews about no hot water, I doubt that. Left Very disappointed. Management will have one less family to worry about in the future, but they won’t read this so who cares.

Better than expected. The room was comfortable and clean. Nice ensuite. The best bit is the setting. The rooms are situated in the grounds of the hotel, so you can enjoy the quiet and the views. If you have an early start let the hotel know in advance. I didn't and had to miss out on breakfast which was included in the price.

We had our wedding day here recently and had the most amazing day. We did have a few different meetings with different people from the team throughout our 2 years of planning but any worries we had stopped as soon as the wedding morning started. Harry was amazing from the start even checking on me and my bridesmaid and preparing the bridal room from 7am. There were a couple of issue that he and the housekeeping team resolved straight away and put me and my family at ease. We had Mario running our day and as soon as we met him me and the groom knew everything was going to be perfect he is amazing at his role and nothing was too much trouble even with the amount of questions I would ask him throughout. From reception to house keeping every member of staff is a credit to this hotel. The Dj and fireworks booked through the hotel were just incredible and all our guests have compliments the hotel and the staff. We had the most amazing day so thank you.

I visited here with my group of friends and the chicken starter was tender and good but the main food in the restaurant was dry ,the steak was very chewy and hard and when we asked for gravy they asked us to pay £4.50 extra each for gravy . I have never been to a restaurant where you are required to pay separately for gravy. It would have been better if the price was all inclusive . The manager Marion was very rude to my friends ,when he was informed the cocktail was not good enough, he accused her of trying to get a free drink off the restaurant.  That is very unacceptable. The only reason this hotel is getting a 2 from me is because of the staff in spa. The lady called Emma ,did my facials and she was very skilled and thorough in her job. Thank you very much for a fantastic facials. I will not be back for a stay , and i will only recommend the spa side of the hotel.

Wouldn't even give this place one star. Very rude staff and the manager needs to take a course in man management because he certainly has no interpersonal skills what so ever. Having arrived we went to check in and whilst being dealt with were then brushed aside saying our room wasn't ready, this was after 3pm check in. Long story short, room was ready 35 minutes later only to find another couple already in there. After going back to reception they put us in another room which upon entry with the key card, yes you guessed it this was also occupied by another couple. Very awkward for them as well as us. After another complaint, the manager finally called our room and as a good will gesture offered us some fruit. Total joke. Please avoid as you never know who could walk into your room and steal your belongings, especially as the safe didn't work either.

The grounds and the inside of hotel looked really nice .I went for a weekend with my daughter and granddaughter..we had rooms either ends of the hotel .when I went up to the corridor for my room the corridor stank of cigarette smoke .my daughters room also stank of cigarette smoke bearing in mind we were nowhere near each other .my daughter complained they offered a room spray not very good .That evening we went to the dining room for dinner .I ordered belly pork not a bit of meat on it .complained about it the meal was taken off the bill .we had a great waiter think his name is Andre he was fantastic .His manager came to speak to me he was very pleasent .The next evening we went to the bar for dinner and we were served by a fantastic waiter think he was called kai and the hospitality manager came to check our meal was OK. So thank goodness for these hospitality staff .

Booked a spa day break for a group of 18 of us -01/10/22 - 02/10/22. Despite booking months in advance, we didn't feel well received generally. Location was great and reception was warm and friendly. The spa ladies were lovely and complimentary despite being very busy, the manager tried to accommodate some changes to our time and treatments. We were promised executive rooms, unfortunately, nothing was executive about our rooms, seems those were given to more important guests. The beds were comfortable and all the ladies agreed. Everything was ok and we felt comfortable until dinner time. Some of us ordered cocktails and was served with glasses of nasty pina colader and cosmopolitan drinks. We complained about it and asked to be returned but the manager, Mario, asked the staff to bring them back to our table and bluntly said "I'm not taking it of your bill, you are not having it for free". .much to our astonishment because we never said we wanted the drinks for free or insinuated anything of such.. He was very obnoxious and patronising. As a group of black women, one cannot but to feel racially prejudiced. He should be ashamed of himself. We had to pay for the drinks (which we didn't drink) to avoid further embarrassment. The next morning couldn't have been more different with breakfast. It felt like we entered a different hotel. Josephi (hope I spelt it right), the head manager ensured we were all catered for. .and breakfast was amazing..every staff at breakfast on 2nd Oct. were fantastic. We did air our grievances to the manager and he apologised and offered us wine which we refused. I don't mind visiting again but will avoid eating dinner at the restaurant and definitely booked a room with a view. *Reception staffs too should be praised for being accommodating, as a large group.

Friendly team, Clean room but dated. I stayed 2 nights and had issues with the room safe. I reported this but nothing happened, plus house keeping requests for towels and face cloths was an issue. On the plus side one EV charger available most makes and a couple of Tesla chargers too. All free of charge.

Great buffet breakfast. Gym and pool were brilliant. Really good value for money. Room was clean and comfy. Decor was a bit dated and the walls were thin. I had a poor nights sleep as the next room were talking loudly til 1am and it sounded like they were IN my room.

If you are type person who likes to stay at Hilton hotel this place not for you. This was 1 one night business trip were normally I'd be in a travel lodge. Room was clean, furniture dated but didn't have the old furniture smell👍 Bathroom was clean an decent pressure for a hot shower. Room had everything I needed, and quiet a large newish TV. Loved the viewof the golf course from my balcony Stayed in a room next to reception an didn't hear any guests so it was a quiet room. Will stay here again an next time will bring swimming trunks an golf clubs

Room was disappointing. Not clean. Dusty, cobwebs, stained towel rail and plaster coming off wall. Looked very tired. Very stuffy. One packet of biscuits for a 2 person room and second set of towels hidden away. Linen and towels clean though. However bar and restaurant excellent. Reasonably priced and service was excellent. Reluctant to stay again but would eat and drink there.

Rooms old, many stains on walls and floors, random tissue in corner of room, couch bed very uncomfortable. Shower temp either hot or cold - pressure not maintained. However, the staff are great, service at breakfast wonderful and the breakfast selection is immense. I really liked the dining area, shows what some updating can really do. Rooms need this too!!!

Had a Spa day with treatment and afternoon tea. Facilities were adequate for my friend who has limited mobility. We parked in the disabled space, and it was easy to push the wheelchair down to the Spa entrance. We enjoyed time in the jacuzzi, pool, sauna and steamroom, then went for our facial, which was an amazing experience. A very kind young lady pushed the wheelchair round to the entrance where we were to have afternoon tea. (I would have struggled to do this myself, as it was uphill). Afternoon tea was a delightful indulgence, where we were waited on by a charming young man, who brought us coffee, on request, instead of tea. I regret that I cannot name the staff, who went beyond the expected, to help us. It was truly a wonderful experience, which I hope to repeat.

Stayed here for 1 night end March, staff were lovely but the room & bathroom was not clean at all!!! There was paper etc behind the dressing table, poking out so you could clearly see it, bathroom was disgusting, hair & stuff in sink also shower floor, shower gel on tiles, bin not emptied, I didn't have a shower as put me right off!! Only good thing was the bed was clean & very comfortable. I did complain in the morning, wouldn't stay there again!

Easily the worst nights sleep I have ever had ! In addition I was supplied with an invoice for 173.74 but 195.62 has been taken in my card and no-one will respond to my emails ! I booked for Saturday and Sunday night . Basically I had little or no sleep on Saturday night as there was very loud plumbing noises fairly frequently (I would say 15 times between 11pm and 6am ) .I called reception just after midnight and the person said they couldn’t do anything, they couldn’t turn it off (??) and the hotel was full so I could not move. I spoke to the manager Sunday morning 7.30 and agreed to speak to her again after my gym session. When I returned the receptionist told me that it had been agreed that I could move rooms and have 50% off the Saturday night stay. I was not particularly happy with this and went away to think about it while getting ready to go out for the day . I packed my bags ready to either move rooms or check out and returned to reception. I said I wanted to check out as I could not risk another night with no sleep , I was told I still had to pay as it was short notice !!! Some discussion followed but manager would not compromise any further so I ended up left with no option but to pay for the second night .
