Didn’t stay overnight reception staff rude & absolutely no direction on where to find the entertainment room George Michael tribute AMAZING 5 stars hotel 3 sadly George Michael tribute AMAZING Went to see Michael George performance of George Michael last night at this hotel! He was just outstanding, his voice is Incredible, and his performance fantastic, we had an awesome night. Michael himself is such a beautiful soul he went round the room table by table too getting everyone up on their feet his audience interaction was fabulous. Definitely highly recommend & we will be following him real soon for a second night of George Michael & great fun! Thank you so Much Michael Tracie x Hotel itself was a disappointment, staff rude & no direction to where we was to go for the tribute night! May want to look at that. The floor staff on the other hand once in the room was polite & helpful! Food was lovely too. Dj not so great, not much to offer the customers needs to read the room better for a more happier & successful night - Looked like he wanted to be anywhere but there! The cleanliness was below average. Certainly some areas need attention!

First year anniversary trip. We have previously stayed here feq years ago and decided to come back. We were given a suite with the most beautiful 4 poster bed and corner bath. The bed was the comfiest bed I've slept in and the bath was amazing. Service was fantastic staff were caring and attentive and smiling lots. The grounds are beautiful, My husband and I enjoyed walking around them and loved the ducks .4 star for our suite as it was quite dusty but still a very enjoyable stay and we would come.back. thank you for a lovely time Nailcote.

The customer service at this hotel was more than excellent. Special mention to Glyn Baldwin and Chelsea Bull, two members of staff. I arrived at this hotel by accident, as the hotel I had originally booked cancelled my reservation without prior notice and without offering me a solution. It was almost midnight and I had nowhere to stay. I googled for hotels near my location and found Nailcote Hall a few kilometres away. When I arrived, I explained to the staff the situation I was in and both Glyn and Chelsea were super nice to me, letting me stay in one of their rooms without charging me anything until I sorted out the problem I had had with the other hotel. In addition to the great service they offer, the hotel has a special charm. The rooms are spacious and beds are large and very comfortable. They also offer breakfast service and everything was delicious. Without a doubt, it is a hotel that I will visit again, not only because of the excellent treatment I received from the staff, but also because I found it a lovely place with a very competitive price.

From the minute we checked in everything was excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room very comfortable. Food excellent. Will visit again for sure. My only small complaint would be the price of a cappuccino I do feel that 4.50 is rather extortionate!

Stayed for one evening on my own en route to a function. I had stayed there previously many years ago. I was on a room only tariff. Reception were great on arrival and departure. Room was perfectly appointed. I went for a swim in the pool - the young gentleman who was on duty in the pool on Wednesday evening was superb - really lovely guy - attention to detail and personable - which is sadly getting rarer in this modern world.

I visited for the 80s Christmas Dinner with a group of friend. Some chose to stay over where I got a taxi home. Deep fried breaded brie to start with salad and cranberry. Tasty enough, but cold by the time it arrived at our table. Beautifully moist roast turkey with potatoes, veg, gravy and a little pig in blanket. Cheesecake and ice cream for dessert and finally coffee with a mini mince pie. Waiting staff were polite and a lot of praise for the bar staff inside our function room who were incredibly efficient. 80s music disco and live band rounded off a really enjoyable evening.

Great location for NEC and Birmingham, wonderful old building with character. Rooms big, beds a bit soft and yet where are the mains sockets, none by the bed, desk had 2 with lamp and kettle plugged, and then 2 down on floor by dresser, no use at all for phone or tablet. Did get to restaurant, menu looks good. Breakfast looked like it was their first day of doing this, tables not cleared, staff running round and the hot food served in hallway. Good news for the hotel is they were pretty full.

The hotel is pet-friendly, which is fine- some people like to take their pets with them when they travel. What's not fine is when a dog in the next room starts violently barking at midnight, you call the front desk to report it, and the concierge says "Well what do you want ME to do about it?" with an attitude. When I called again half an hour later he put the phone down on me mid-sentence. I hope you like sleeping in a hot room, because if you don't keep the radiator switched on and turned to at least 4 it makes a clattering sound and hisses like there's a massive snake in the room. We ended up having to sleep with the windows wide open in November. The bathroom extractor fan didn't work, which led to the bedroom feeling clammy during our whole trip. We reported this when we first arrived and were told it would be added to the maintenance list, but after three days it still wasn't sorted when we left. The shower screen also leaked, which led to a pool in the bathroom when you bathed. We stayed in one of the new wings which was apparently built with paper- we could hear the people on either side of us having normal conversations through the walls. The grounds themselves were really well-manicured and scenic, with a lovely little ruin to one side that's very nice for pictures. The pool, hot tub, and steam room were our favourite part. Always quiet, and manned by friendly, funny members of the team.

Recently held my daughters wedding at this wonderful venue, staff went over and above to make the day special for the bride, groom and guests. Stayed 2 nights, room was a delight and the breakfast very good. Have also played the Par 3 Course, after being fed a hearty breakfast, a few times. Would thoroughly recommend it as Wedding of Golf venue.

Had a team meeting here. Staff were great, room was spacious and clean. Food was excellent. Loses a star due to the state of the car park, you need a 4x4 to be able to drive through it, probably wouldn't return until it was sorted.

We stayed here for Christmas 2022, a fairly large family group and a new experience for us to spend Christmas at a hotel. We could not fault the staff, they all went out of their way to help and make the whole experience enjoyable. Carol the events manager was great. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and well maintained. The food was very good. Dining room and bedrooms were excellent. Pool area was lovely and was a great way to wake up! 10/10 all round. Will definitely consider booking again for next year and probably something in between too.! 🥂🍾😎👍👍

Nice place. Very pretty. Needs an update as decor is old and shabby but it is clean. The food and drink is incredibly expensive. I paid £18.50 for sausage and mash and the portion size was good but it was quite bland and the sausages were dried out. Large glass of wine £10.50. Shame it could be so much more. The staff were very lovely, and I cannot fault them.

Excellent food and service. Caitlin, Shannon and Nat were very welcoming, professional and helpful. The extra mile they all went too made my birthday celebration a memorable one and was really appreciated. Shout out to the chef too for the excellent food. Definitely recommend Nailcote Hall. Lovely atmosphere as well! 👌

Have rated the rooms because we didn't stay.We met as a large group ranging in ahe from 3 to 60+ marking a family event. The meal was excellent and plentiful. The staff were efficient and friendly adding to the day. Certainly would visit again a very pleasant time we had the room from 12 till 6 and the time flew by due in part to the attitude of the staff.

Had a great time visiting this place for a wedding. The service was fantastic. All staff were great but two members of staff really stood out and went above and beyond to accommodate myself and my two young daughters, Caitlin and Shannon. Thankyou so much for all your help. The room was also incredible, we stayed in Willow and it was ideal for a family.

The room itself was dirty, the bathroom shelf still had hair on it from previous guests, there were bugs in the bathroom. Even after speaking to reception and the room being cleaned and ant powder put down the hair on the shelf remained. The wedding we attended was lovely the room was set out beautifully and the food was okay, the pianist was brilliant. The dj kept the place lively. The swimming pool was lovely and warm and it was very picturesque down there. Overall not sure I'd willingly return to stay at the hotel unless a friend was getting married there.

I had the pleasure of officiating at the British par 3 championship held there. Although I did not stay at the hotel, it looked wonderful. The food was good. The 9 hole par 3 course in the grounds was excellent, some people will moan about playing off mats. However, every hole presents a different challenge and a number has water infront of the green. The greens are small and were in excellent condition. The course is a fantastic challenge and one of the best I have seen. It is on my list to play, but need to sharpen up my game.

Had a night here for business and everything was fab. My room had windows on both sides, a good bathroom with bath and shower, a TV and huge superking size bed. The spa was fab with lovely pool, hot jacuzzi and a steam room, beware the changing rooms are tiny though. Breakfast was good although a little disjointed with the poor waiters and waitresses trying to serve food from hot plates as well as get the toast, drink orders etc. We didn't eat in the main restaurant but instead opted to take a nice stroll to Hickorys smokehouse which is just over a mile away. That was epic and well worth the stroll. All staff were friendly and it was great value for money.

Facilities such as swimming pool are excellent. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Hotel is a bit expensive for what is on offer. Food is ok and pretty standard but overpriced. Breakfast at weekends is poor for a hotel of this standard. Canteen dinners comes to mind.

The staff here are exemplary, and I received true above and beyond service. All the staff should be commended, and Chantai was very helpful in helping to get my child to eat his breakfast. The room was a nice size and as it was raining we just stayed in and enjoyed the facilities. Had the best club sandwich of my life, with hand cut chips - I highly recommend it. The staff in the spa were really great also. The pool and spa was very relaxing and open from 7am-9pm which were decent hours. I definitely recommend Nailcote Hall.

I had my wedding here in 2021, had an amazing day from start to finish also been back twice after and loved it. Any problems we had got delt with straight away. Loved the pool and jacuzzi and the staff have always been lovely. Food has always been amazing. Only negative is rooms are always hot but would recommend this place to anyone.

I stayed at Nailcote Hall during the British Par 3 Championships last week. It is a beautiful place. The staff were friendly, polite and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were always tidy when I returned from my golfing efforts and I had the perfect night's sleep. The food was excellent too, as was the ambiance. I loved my stay there. I will definitely be back. Well done.

Lovely hotel in a very quiet location. Room over the pool do get hot but air conditioning available for room. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Several (lady behind the bar and the male duty manager) went out of their way to assist and support and customer skills were exceptional. Only missing English Wine on the drinks menu! Recommended Thank you.

Where to start... the mulberry suite, nice but no four poster, which we'd booked. Sorry about that, it's our fault, but there's nothing we can do. I'd waited along time for this 'treat', a wedding gift from my new wife. Only to be told that.. shameful, disappointing service. Given a warm bottle of Prosecco as an apology. Better leave that for a while in the ice as it wasn't in the fridge was the instruction from the bar staff. Stay was OK after that but breakfast service wasn't all that great. Customer service is so important these days. You got it horribly worng this time

Came here yesterday with my mate to play some golf,. absolutely loved it, beautiful par 3, have a lovely chat with the owner, very respectful and helpful, then we also has a lovely long talk with one of the instructors David Tomlinson, also another great person, honestly recommend this place for a game of golf, I didn't eat but food looked amazing. See you soon

We had our wedding here last Saturday and it couldn't have been more perfect. Mark and his team ensured the day went effortlessy with zero stress. Service from start to finish was outstanding and the rooms were lovely. Would highly recommend.

Lovely luxurious rooms. Super staff and the food is cooked to perfection. The lamb I had was do succulent it melted in my mouth. The staircase going down into Ricky's bar is do attractive. The entertainment including the singer, DJ Franco is so friendly and foes a fantastic job. No queues gor the bar. There is a pool and a popular golf course . I enjoyed sitting around the lake . I saw fish jumping out of the water.

The room was incredibly nice and comfortable (and very good value) with good amenities. However, it was the service I received that sets this hotel & restaurant apart. It was the most compassionate and friendly service I have received. Nathan, James & Liam in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. They had just changed to their new full dining menu since Covid and were keen to get my feedback. I had the honour of being the first steak Dianne that Nathan got to prepare and serve table side for a customer and I would highly recommend this experience. All of the staff I encountered were extremely friendly and helpful and considerate, including the attendant in the pool area who when the bubbles stopped in the hot tub, left her desk to switch them on again to save me getting out and doing it! I was in Coventry on business, though am returning to the area with my daughter and son-in-law for a special occasion in July and after dinner I was so impressed with everything that I immediately booked again to stay here. I then had a wonderful conversation with the delightful Corin on reception, with some special requests which she was incredibly helpful with organising. I’ve stayed in a lot of nice hotels and eaten in a lot of great restaurants and overall, this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and it was down to the superb staff who are all warm, welcoming and genuinely want you to have the best experience and enjoy your stay - it is unusual and refreshing to find people who seem dedicated to such a high level of service and customer satisfaction.

First visit as a new member with my 6 year old son...very helpful staff especially at the leisure facility. Yes it's small but feels very welcoming, loved the pool....only neg was the signage outside in the dark, couldn't see where to go but that's a small neg, thanks for a great first visit 👍

Stayed for 2 nights during a business trip. The staff were extremely friendly and professional. The headboard in my room was loose and was rectified as soon as it was mentioned. The food was very good. The pool/spa quiet and relaxing. I did not use the golf course, but as you can see from my photos, the grounds are beautiful and well looked after.

Went to the Freddie Mercury Show last evening. The food was fine, the tribute act wasn't. Good to see former work friends though. All-in all, not worth £40 I am afraid.

Afternoon tea was quite disappointing, cakes seemed quite cheap, scones were ok, slivers of sandwiches, none of us tried the anaemic sausage rolls, nothing special at all. However service was very good, very friendly, polite and attentive and setting is lovely. We had a good time despite the food.

Attended for a Xmas party night. We were pleasantly surprised. Used the pool and steam room. Bedroom nice and spacious, very clean. Staff friendly, unlike some Xmas dos, the party carried on way after 1 o clock, no one hurried us away. Breakfast good, I consider it good value for money.

A fabulous night's break - great fun in the golf course, lovely spa, and the room was glorious! A brilliant evening meal in the restaurant and lovely breakfast the next day! The staff were all friendly, helpful and lovely!

Room could have done with updating , plug sockets were nowhere near a table and kettle was nowhere near a plug had to be balanced on a low table but room was clean , unfortunately next to a large marquee where music was blasting out till 1am ! Food was very meagre portions I think the pavlova (meringue nest) must have cost them 70p to make ! For a three course meal for £40 it was very underwhelming. Breakfast though was very nice

Stayed here whilst at a wedding. Pleased with our stay. Room 23 comfortable and very clean. Also clean bathroom with some complimentary toiletries. Only ‘ complaint’- the shower was incredibly hot. Did inform reception. Good breakfast-buffet style. Plenty of choice
