Fantastic little stay at a boutique hotel right smack dab in the center of city square ..... The rooms and facilities/restaurant is top notch. Great little stay. Thanks to all at the Globe for making my Warwick stay very enjoyable..... Cheers

Great location, room large and well equipped, staff very helpful and always buzzing around making sure people were served promptly. Breakfast X2 and evening meal was tasty, plentiful and quickly served. Unfortunately there were a few issues with the room - 3 wet radiators not working so a small oil filled unit left in room, extract system for kitchen noisy in the room and a large extract grill in the bedroom wall meant lots of road noise and cold air A shame because a few details to resolve and thus would be a great place to stay.

The food and ambience was really nice. There was a big difference between portion sizes between vegan and non-vegan Sunday roasts, which (vegan was about half the size but still as expensive). Can't fault the service or food quality, but was just disappointed the cookie dough wasn't available for dessert when we visited. Just means a return trip I guess 😅. Would have been five stars if the vegan dish was more substantial, or at least less expensive.

Stayed at The Globe for three nights and was extremely happy with their attention to detail. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard. Breakfast was also very good with many options. Staff were friendly and kind. Would highly recommend.

Spent Christmas here as part of a festive package. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food was excellent well presented. The xmas dinner was cooked to perfection. The room we stayed in was warm with a great bed and shower. There was an issue with the checkout bill as we had pre booked a package which was not reflected in the invoice. This appeared to affect all of the people with the package and took over an hour to resolve. The live band "Room 17" on Xmas eve was really good and added to the atmosphere and the party feel.

Nice cocktails and food but service is really hit and miss, often when we come here we can see our food sitting under the heat lamp for 10-20 minutes before being served, even witnessed another lady get up and take her own food from the bar as there was no service. Atmosphere ruined by staff arguing and chefs swearing and stressing in the kitchen so loudly that we couldn’t hear our own conversation. Last time we came we ordered cocktails and food and didn’t receive our drinks until our food arrived which was after 30 mins waiting, even though we had asked twice where our drinks were.

Ordered Expensive fish and chips (£17.50) - these were served with sweet potato fries and when I enquired I was told there were no house fries available. Not an issue if I was informed when ordering as I would have changed my order. Pizza sauce was overly sweet. It is a great location and atmosphere but Overall not a great dining experience that left us disappointed. Fish and chips with sweet potato fries is really not pleasant.

Amazing stay really enjoying staying here. The staff are AMAZING!! So friendly and helpful. I had a nightmare before check in, I left my suitcase at home, 60 miles away. They helped to advise what stores were open which was great. I was up very early for the travel home and they allowed me to make my order for breakfast so it was ready when the kitchen opened. The room was great and comfy. Slept very well too. Would definitely recommend to others and go back again.

The food was good but we had a table reserved at 4:30 then an event we had to go to at 6:30. You'd think 2 hours for 2 people to get dinner would be fine but the service was ridiculously slow. It wasn't even very busy but every time we asked for anything, the person serving our table would spend at least 5 minutes talking to someone before even starting to get what we wanted. After an hour and ten minutes we had eaten a main course, which was very tasty. We wanted pudding but after being given the menu we didn't even see our waiter again for 20minutes. At this point we know by the time we've placed an order, got it, then asked and received the bill, we would have missed the event we were going to afterwards. So we had to flag down a different waiter (ours was still nowhere to be seen) and get the bill. So overall it took 2 people nearly 2 hours just to order, receive and eat a main course (we didn't have starters thank God, or we'd have definitely been late). Lovely atmosphere and good food but I've never known service so slow. Wouldn't bother going back.

We had a fabulous night here. Helen made us really welcome, she was extremely kind and helpful. The food was totally excellent, especially the wood fired pizza. The room was lovely. Grateful thanks to all.

Had an overnight stay as a payday treat, and I have to say it was an excellent choice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Whilst the room was adequate, it was a little on the small side, but i did enjoy a wonderfully cooked meal and following day breakfast. I'm definitely looking forwards to a return visit. Highly recommend.

We booked the Globe based on user reviews. So glad we did. The staff was amazing, really friendly and so accommodating. The rooms were clean and cozy, and the food was first class. I highly recommend staying here if you’re anywhere near Warwick.

We stayed here from December 24 to 26th 2022 as a festive break package. Our room was lovely and spacious, the bed was so comfortable too! The staff were all friendly, pleasant and helpful. On Christmas eve in the bar there was a fantastic band called Room 17, had a great night! The 3 course Christmas lunch was amazing, delicious and wholesome!. Breakfast was good too! The hotel is very nice with a good variety of drinks at the bar Woke up on Boxing day morning to a message from the hotel to do online express check out only to find they charged us incorrectly, trying to charge us 3 times the amount that was owing. This got us stressed so my Husband went to reception to sort it out. After 90 minutes it was finally sorted. We were not the only ones to have this issue, all the other guests had the same issue. Other than this issue we had a fab time and really enjoyed it However because of the stress of this issue, we were thinking about booking the same thing for next year but this has made us a bit wary and may look elsewhere.

We had dinner here, the food was nice but I’m not totally convinced it was worth of the (slightly high) price tag. The drinks were quite pricey too, but overall it was good and there were no real negatives. I’d be happy to visit again, but probably wouldn’t go out of my way to come back here…

Deluxe double was nice. Comfy bed, clean linen and bathroom. Only complaint was a broken blind and no shampoo in the hotel. We didn’t find that out until 5.30pm on a Saturday night. It would have been good to know on check in. I was told it had been on order for two weeks. Maybe a back up plan was required in the mean time. Restaurant is beautifully decorated and comfortable. Feels like it should be table service but you have to go to the bar but then no service charge, so fair enough. Food was nice but some things a bit over priced. £6 to add chicken to a salad seems a bit steep and £5.50 for a small : medium size portion of chips. Not sure that’s value for money and the drinks are on the pricey side too. We had some good cocktails in the evening and they were lovely. Breakfast was good. Great coffee and a choice of pastries / cereal. I had the avocado and poached eggs but the eggs were cool and not runny and it was all a bit on the luke warm side, which was a shame. Great central location if you don’t mind a bit of road noise and easy parking nearby. Could be a great hotel with a bit more love and attention. Staff seemed a bit stretched but were welcoming.

Went for Father's day, "full-English breakfast was tasty but small and only one sausage!! Daughter had pancakes which were microscopic in size... Appreciate it's trying to be upmarket, from our perspective over priced & under performed. Fortunately Greggs is round the corner.

Fantastic experience at The Globe. Extremely welcoming of our little family -got a 16 month old. High chair provided and kids menu was brilliant. Beer was excellent and the food was worth every penny. We had the cheese and bacon burger and it was perfection. Would highly recommend and we will go back if we visit Warwick again.

Overall this is a lovely hotel in a nice location . Staff were super friendly , hotel food was delicious. The only reason for my stars being marked down were 4 things - breakfast is not served until 730 - I travel for work so this time is not good for me so left without breakfast . It is worth nothing there are pastries and coffee from 7 that you can take away . I do appreciate this may be geared towards those who vacation than work - the ironing board in my room - the place to put the iron was hable hanging off - if I hadn’t spotted it it’s a safety issue at minimum you had a burnt carpet - the small jug to put the water in had a big crack in it - you guessed it filled it up and leaked all over my feet and then the floor - the toiletries in my bathroom were half used . Even if they are refilled at least fill them up and give me confidence they have been sanitised

Myself and a friend visited for some cocktails before we attended an event at Warwick castle, from start to finish we were greeted professionally followed by served by some very polite members of your team who couldn’t do enough for you. Drinks were really enjoyable, food looked delicious also may I add! And the venue itself was beautiful you could either sit inside or out which was great also!

Lovely little pub, stayed a night here while travelling with work. My room was really pleasant, it felt like it had been refurbished fairly recently and the vegan breakfast was great! Note that their breakfast now starts from 7:30, not 8 which definitely makes a difference if you're travelling for business. The staff were friendly too!

Very lovely pub. We had a booking for a Sunday roast and it was outstanding. One of the best roasts with plentiful food and lots of gravy. Great atmosphere in the pub too and all the staff were very nice. Highly recommend for a very nice roast dinner.

We regularly visit for Sunday lunch at the Globe! Was going strong at the end of last year, great food and a few very standout members of staff who are attentive and friendly ! Team were nice and accommodating for a birthday, bringing the cake out for us! I’ve docked one star because sometimes the food can be a bit hit and miss and the roasts have shrunk, which is a shame considering the price point Also, the manager significantly lacks enthusiasm!!

Lovely hotel for a such a small town such as Warwick! Amazing restaurant and bar, room was top notch, friendly staff and the breakfast was on another level. The bar is open all night and they serve your breakfast to your room if you require so. Simply amazing, nothing I can complain about. Cheers to the lady who served us breakfast, really cool accent, and cheers to the chef.

My husband and I came here on New Year’s Eve for lunch and had a fantastic meal. The staff were lovely and the food was great, we had some lovely cocktails. Highly recommended for a nice meal in Warwick - thanks to the team for being so accommodating.

Overall, a disappointing stay. Liked · Good location, shower was excellent, wifi worked well Disliked · No parking on site and rang up to ask where the nearest parking was and the guy I spoke to was really rude and sarcastic. Staff didn't ask if I had a nice stay. Food menu was overpriced. No green tea. Drum and bass was being played loudly downstairs in the afternoon when I was trying to work in my room. There was no info about the hotel in the room or phone to call reception. No fridge Breakfast looked a lot better than it tasted (needed more seasoning!)

Sadly it was disappointing as the bar staff a 15yr old was left to serve us. She was great though, the manager disappeared we never saw him again after serving drinks. I would say bad management as the poor girl was left on her own.

Decent Friday night drinkies and meal... table for 4 was booked, but they accommodated us when we arrived early. Drinkies were good, food was tasty- sharing starter was a good size and mains were all hot and freshly prepared. Bit of a wait for the food, but nothing too bad... they were pretty busy. Toilets were pretty good too, and general atmosphere and decor pleasant.

Not a great roon, too small for 2 people and not cheap! Dinner wasn't good at all, very fatty burger and my spaghetti had barely any seafood in it. Breakfast was lovely though and I would have given 2 star if it wasn't for that the fact that they accommodated us for a very early check in at 8am, thank you for that :)

Very welcoming staff, from the manageress to the nicely enthusiastic cleaner. Excellent customer service from the barman who was always welcoming, helpful and friendly. The room was good and the bathroom very good with a superb shower. The English Breakfast was fantastic. I would stay here again.

Stayed here as a treat whilst visiting the castle. Was not disappointed with the room, very chic and modern. The shower was AMAZING, lovely toiletries too which makes such a difference. Slept incredibly well, bed and bedding was so comfortable. Lovely selection of cocktails and nice outside seating area. Food at dinner was gorgeous. Chefs definitely know how to cook a steak! Only reason it's not 5* is because the black mould in the bathroom was incredibly thick and needs addressing. We were not asked how our stay was when checking out otherwise I would've mentioned it then. Also, the breakfast is unfortunately not worth the price, not a huge selection of choices and no juice readily available. Cheaper and much nicer to go to Bread & Co just round the corner for a holiday treat. All in all, expensive but worth it.

Service was excellent they were supposedly ‘short staffed’ but clearly the staff that were in are very good because there was no waiting at all. Food and drinks came quick. Food was delicious

Surprisingly good food. I had chopped sweet potatoes with some sausage food for brunch.. spiced well, almost tropical in flavour...it was alright.. Staff are nice...

Lovely little period hotel with character. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, the room was cosy, warm, quiet, comfortable and well located. The included breakfast is also great. The manager even gave me a free upgrade as it was quiet. I really can't think of a single negative, it really is lovely as were all the staff and I''ll DEFINITELY be back, so five stars it is for sure.

Really tasty, well presented food and a nicely decorated interior which gives the restaurant a welcoming atmosphere. I haven't given 5 stars due to the service. We did visit on a very busy evening but as a table of two we were neglected slightly. We were made to wait a lot and in the end chose not to bother with dessert as we just felt ignored. Yes it was busy but there were loads of staff around, they just seemed to forget about us. We left a tip as we felt the chef deserved it.

This is my go to treat night escape, the atmosphere, food, bar and staff is simply amazing. So convenient for us to escape from the children for a relaxing break away. Thank you Globe, I always come away feeling truly happy x

🫤 I rate 2 stars only for the place. The place where the restaurant is located is amazing. The atmosphere inside is spectacular! But that was the only plus during our visit.
