Very impressed with the theatre. Itโ€™s had an overhaul and it looks great! We went to the pantomime and was pleasantly surprised. The seats were comfortable (we were in a box), and pretty good views. The show was very funny, the dancers were lovely and the actors were fantastic! Lots of laughs were had with lots of local references. The bathrooms were clean and were spaced out around the theatre. Iโ€™d highly recommend a trip to the theatre!

It is a wonderful place. I love going there, and it is good that the theater is in the city. It adds to the city, and the people of the city perform many wonderful shows and plays, and sitting there is also comfortable for work.

Attended the opening night of โ€œThe Book Thiefโ€ I was incredibly apprehensive in how such an emotional story would translate into a musical; but it worked well! The set designs and in particular the scenes during songs were aesthetically pleasing. More dramatic scenes took a โ€œsofterโ€ approach; I would have preferred the converse. Overall it was enjoyable, and well worth its value. Good acting from all involved. Some asynchronous dancing. The programme is well printed, of good quality and excellent price! (ยฃ5) I did find it odd that these were only being sold at entrance into the stage causing slight delays in actually getting to your seat. Friendly reminders to turn off mobile phones would have been appreciated; like theatres do in the West End. Leg room is ample; we sat in row G seats 11-12 in the main stage for reference with regards to photos. Happy to see such a popular book played out well in Coventry!

We went to watch beauty and the beast, all the staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The room we were in wasn't too big so no matter where you sat you were able to get a good view of the stage. There is a NCP car park walking distance from the theatre, they have restaurants nearby so you can eat before or after the show. The town centre is also walking distance. The theatre have there own bar that serve alcoholic beverages. The toilets are clean.

Love the Belgrade. Great theatre and attracts some great professional shows. I have seen Ballet to local shows, comedy nights, music shows and recently Sister Act! Always a good night and not as expensive as the Hippodrome or West End, but still a great theatre with good views everywhere on the ground floor. See what's coming up and get down there. Good cafe too. Haven't been for a while, but it is usually pretty busy, so must be decent.

Lovely theatre. Very clean and great view of the stage. Only 'issue' was with the row indicators, they are confusing. Many people including us had to move seats to the row behind, even the lady helping with tickets got it wrong. The first row A is showing on the barrier (infront of the row its for) so its easily missed but its common place to assume the letter you get to first is for the row to sit in, as you know you have arrived at the row and then seat. its odd that they are placed in front and for row A being in an odd place it doesnt correspond correctly. Noone was helping with seating anyone, just came to check random tickets once in there and then had to move. All very odd. Despite that though the theatre is lovely and will come again.

The theatre is a lovely, friendly building - not too big - a proper theatre designed for viewing the stage (rather than an auditorium style venue). We had tea/coffee cake beforehand and the obligatory ice cream at half time - all very good. Plenty of clean toilets and good access.

We recently visited to see the Santa sparkles show with our young daughter. She was quite anxious about going into the theatre so we missed our time. The staff were absolutely fantastic and pulled out all the stops to make her feel better. They allowed us to go to the next show, which she thoroughly enjoyed, and we did too. Huge thanks to the staff, particularly one of the managers Rob who couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. Big thanks to Santa and his Elves, who were very kind and patient.

First time here, had the best time, we watched the Jack and the beanstalk show and what a fabulous performance. From the oldest to the youngest we all absolutely loved it. Will 100% be returning. You made our Christmas magical. Thank you.

Friendly, helpful staff, nice ambience in the bar/foyer area. I went with a friend, unlike me, he has very good hearing, but neither of us could gather what had been announced over the public address system (or 'tannoy' as my pal put it). Our show "Black, Queer, and Done" was in the B2 space - which was just right for the event as some of the action in the show was filmed in the same place. The seats were too low. Next time I will bring my back friend and it will be easier to sit through the show.

Wonderful theatre ! Not that big that you loose the wonderful intimacy you need for many shows, good comfy seating, polite and friendly staff. Will be back in December for Panto. Highly recommend this fantastic theatre. 2022 Pantomime was Jack and the Beanstalk. Iain Lauchlan once again smashed it, we have been coming here for years, with our children and now grandchildren. Never ever disappoints. Fantastic value for money, and as always will be back next year for more !! Can't recommend highly enough

This is a very lovely theatre with parking close by. It has a very diverse range of programmes on offer, with two staging areas. The staff are always pleasant and friendly. I have yet to try the new dining facilities but hope to in the near future.

It is several years since I visited this old established theatre. It hasn't changed that much although the auditorium is slightly smaller than I remember. However the seating is comfortable and on this occasion the show was a sell out which meant that it was a good audience. I had a very enjoyable evening and hopefully I won't leave it too long before a return visit.

Went to see Bugsy Malone and it was fantastic. Theatre had plenty of staff, especially in the bar. Seating was spot on as theatre not too big, nothing blocking our view. The show and cast were absolutely amazing

The Belgrade Theatre in Coventry has a nice aesthetic as you enter with a raked auditorium that allows even the back row stall seats a good view of the stage. There is a cafe and a bar for refreshments and a counter where you can buy merchandise connected with the current show if applicable. Tickets are scanned as you enter which is an innovative way of collection attendance data. Like with most theatres the seats aren't the comfiest but they were clean and in working order. The toilet facilities were in good condition. The particular show we went to see had strobe lighting effects and what struck me was there was no warning of this. Not when ordering the tickets, no signs in the foyer and no announcement. There was also no announcement about not recording the performance, which considering there were minors involved in the production could be considered a breach of safeguarding. Overall this theatre is worth attending especially if you're local and want to see a good theatre production.

Event was in the small studio Theatre, which was ideal. Clean, a good tech team and good facilities - although both coffee bars were closed for the whole weekend due, I think, to Covid affecting staff.

Went to Neil Diamond Ultimate tribute at short notice. Reception and bar areas modern and spacious but drinks service struggles with numbers. Staff are friendly and helpful. Theatre area a little dated with seats OK but not much leg room. Was sat right at back and I thought sound could be a little better but could hear the music fine (struggled to hear singer when he was talking).

Coventry Panto. What a show! It was genuinely hilarious and had a great production quality. The Dame ( who also writes the show) had the most elaborate dresses I've ever seen and was brilliant. This show is expensive but you won't be disappointed.

This is the fourth year that we have been to the Christmas pantomime at the Belgrade Theatre, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is fantastic and the children absolutely love the show. The theatre itself is well located in Coventry city centre with ample parking in the multistorey right next to the venue. There is also a cafe and a bar inside for refreshments.

Nice building and facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. Saw the Santa & Mystery Guest show for young children. Performers were very good, and songs were nice, but music was too loud at times and drowned out words. Show was quite short and I would have liked more interaction with children other than getting them to shout and scream louder

Great theatre. Friendly and helpful staff. Slightly frustrating that they only took cash on the merchandise stall. Wish they had more well known shows here

We went for the Santa's adventure show, the kids loved it, there was songs and dancing, the puppet rudolph also had the kids laughing, after the show they picked a present from Santa and had a photo with them, the show does only last 30mins but was long enough for kids who get a bit fidgety after that!

Went to see 80โ€™s Mania show. Absolutely great! A real bounce back to the old days of real music. Lots of dancing in the aisles. Theatre staff well organised, although prepaid drinks at interval in bar were missing, so time was lost requesting them again, and interval was only of 15 minutes or so.
