Absolutely amazing! I can’t rate this place highly enough. The service was above our expectations. The waiters answered all our questions (given that we’re vegetarian), we even asked for the chef’s creation on one of our meals (and they did not disappoint!!) I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back again.

Amazing food with great portion sizes. I was very hungry and still couldn’t finish the meal . My waiter recommended the linguine and it was a great meal. Overall a good dining experience. Oh did I say the cocktails were amazing. That was the highlight of my meal

OMG. I took my wife for our date night, her birthday eve. Booking was easy, I just dropped them an email with the date, time and advised it was the wife's birthday. I received a mail back quickly confirming my reservation and I was more than happy. So tonight (Friday 16th October 20) I took the Mrs, as a surprise ...I arranged someone to have the kids etc. Arranged a taxi and told her to dress nice. When we arrived we were greeted by a nice welcoming gentleman who asked if we had a reservation and the name and we were seated without delay. The ambience of the restaurant is great, really nice and welcoming and after a while homely They leave you ample time to look at the food and drinks menu (they do cocktails, alcoholic and non, wine, beer, soft drinks, hot drinks) Before your starter is served they bring you some bread and balsamic vinegar. Your starter is served shortly after and to be honest there is little time from ordering to receiving your starter (in my opinion, just about the right amout of time). For starter I had the calamari and WOW. Not only was it fantastic, but the portion size was great. My wife ordered from the specials and had black pudding with scallops and some other stuff and she really enjoyed it. After we finished our starters, we had a little chat about something, and then the mains came out, just after the right amout of time - again, in my opinion (about 15 - 20 mins) I had the filleto Rossini steak, requested medium .... OMFG... It truly was to die for. My knife just slide through it like a hot knife through butter and it is served on a bruschetta which with the juice/marinade just soaks in and a pate on top.... It came with roasted potatoes in a separate dish and with a little salt added they were fantastic as well with all 4 together tasting super great and bringing all the taste buds alive. Being greasy, I also order the spinach in cream as well .... Again with a tad more salt and pepper for my liking, it was amazing, and with the area, steak source, pate, and bruschetta ... Well, I was in good heaven. My wife went for the special again and had with king prawns, lobster and something else.... I'm not a fish person but it looked absolutely gorgeous despite the lobster shell sat there. They brought the dessert menu, but after what we had had, we just couldn't fit anything else in (nearly couldn't). When I booked I said it was for my wife's birthday, so they kindly brought down a ice cream and hot chocolate fudge cake with a candle in and it was a big portion again, but really really nicer of them and it tasted Wicked. The service would easily get a 11/10 They don't hound you while you are eating, but come pretty much straight away when you have finished. When you finish your drink, again they pretty much come and ask if you would like another Food Tate and quality 20 /10 Just amazing, probably the best Italian I have had, and that is saying something Price I really think the price, for what you get, the service, the food quality etc. etc. Is fantastic. We had 2 x starters, 2 x mains 1 X pink gin cocktail (it's big and strong) 2 x large glasses of rose, 1 x pint of peroni and it was £90 ... £90 ... I was expecting a lot more than that, I really was - so I have a nice big tip I really would 128% recommend this restaurant for any Italian food lovers. Took my parents out for their wedding anniversary. The food was absolutely excellent, with great wait staff, just the right level of attentiveness, without being overbearing. Not the cheapest of places, but worth every penny! Thanks for a great night out.

Very friendly staff, mentioned upon booking that it was for mine and my fiance's anniversary. After our delicious meal we were given a limoncello on the house to say happy anniversary which was really kind. Food was fresh and absolutely delicious, highly recommend the garlic bread and gnocchi! Thank you to all the staff who served us that evening.

A great little restaurant in Sheldon B26. I'd heard good things about this place and having sampled it for myself I am in agreement. The food was delicious. I had Penne Amatriciana (spicy with pancetta) and it was delicious. Decided to try their tiramisu and it was probably the nicest one I have ever had. Not just a thin slice like some restaurants but a delicious bowl about 6 inches deep of creamy deliciousness. Definitely worth trying. The Italian lady who served us was lovely and made the effort for a chat. Would definitely return again.

Came to this establishment for my husbands birthday.We were warmly welcomed and seated quickly and chose our drinks and food.The starters arrived promptly and were very well presented and delicious. The mains arrived soon after and were also delicious and well presented.We found room for desserts and indulged in a unusual dessert each which we enjoyed! Although not cheap it was worth it for a special occasion!

I very rarely give a full 5 stars - but Sapore well and truly deserves it! We ate here yesterday and the food was brilliant. I had calamari for starter the veal for main which was delicious. The pricing is very fair for what you get and the staff were very friendly and delivered great service! I can not recommend Sapore enough!

I honestly don't understand how this can be a 4.7 avg on Google maps. The food is bland at best. I had the lamb, which tasted more like it was boiled than properly cooked. The sauce had no taste at all, neither did the mash. Don't go if you actually cherish Italian cuisine.

Excellent food and great service. Recently had a experience of having lunch i.e. fish cakes (as starter), vegetarian main course and vanilla ice cream with chocolate cake as dessert. Not only was the food good but all at a very reasonable price.

A lovely Italian with some real authenticity in their food. The food was lovely, - well seasoned, great tasting and creative! The staff were incredibly helpful and did their best to meet our catering requirements - vegetarian inc no egg. A little disappointed that they weren't able to offer baby changing facilities but they were more than happy for us to use a quiet corner in the restaurant to do so. (I would encourage management to consider implementing this.) Pricey but for the taste of top quality Italian food, I would certainly come back knowing I won't be disappointed.

This afternoon me and my husband dined at Sapore and ate from the lunch menu. The lunch menu offers exceptional value for money at just £10.95 for a starter and main course. Although it was a short menu there was ample choice for both me and my husband who is vegetarian. The food was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were perfect. The tables were beautifully laid with crisp white table cloths and the whole restaurant including the bathrooms were spotlessly clean. The service we recieved was fantastic- attentive but not overbearing. We finished the meal with deserts and liquor coffees which were delicious. We would definitely eat here again and recommend to others.

Absolutely fabulous meal, between us we had pea and mint soup, crab and prawn cocktail, chicken with mustard, fillet steak, sea bass. Very basic descriptions from me but believe me nothing basic about this food, great value for money, not a single morsel left. Highly recommend. Been many times never disappointed.

Very cozy restaurant with lots of options for all preferences on both drink and food menu we tried the risotto with saffron and prawn which was extremely delicious...early bird menu all time on Sunday was a surprise which was a big plus. Calamari as the starter was super crispy and nice, the tiramisu and cappuccino were excellent...will definitely go there again and recommend it to everyone.

Hadn't been in a little while for us. Nothing has changed. From the meet and greet to the table service, it was great. Beer and wine were excellent. Nothing is too much trouble and menu changes are a given as nothing is ever too much trouble. This isn't a high end eatery but if you compare the standard of food to the price on the menu it's amazing. We ate 3 courses each, beers and wine, Limoncello and chocolates on the house. £99. This standard of food with our level of alcoholism for under £100 is now a Unicorn. We will be back soon.

This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend so thought I'd give it ago as it's so local. The service was second to none and the food was delicious, hot and all served in a timely manor. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything we had to eat, the staff were nice and were always asking if we needed anything else etc. Will definitely go here again

Sapore was recommended to us by a few people and it didn’t disappoint. We had a lovely evening with our family, including young children Both the food and the service was excellent and we will definitely be back. My only recommendation would be to give the option to leave a tip when paying by card. We didn’t have any cash on us but would have liked to show our appreciation.

The best Italian restaurants in the Midlands!! I have been to this restaurant many times with my boyfriend in the last year and a half. We have created so many memories in this place, and it has become our favourite restaurant. The food is authentic and delicious. We visited this place for my a very private 18th Birthday of my son. It was a very private party with just me, my wife and son. So we were looking for a restaurant which will give us the privacy and space to celebrate with just as a family, while have good food and drinks. Having been to Sapore before, we knew this was the best place for the occasion. And the restaurant didn't disappoint us at all. Tasty food, good ambience, lovely service and a nice private celebration.

A great family run Italian restaurant It was a last minute booking for a Friday evening sand it was way to get a a table for us. The place had live music during the night. The portions are good as the taste. loved the pizza and pasta. Bread comes complimentary, so you can plan your dishes accordingly. I will visit again.

Food was excellent!......Well presented and very tasty. Service was equally good. It wasn't busy when we went but I've been to restaurants where it hasn't been busy and yet service has been poor. The lady who served us was very engaging and made recommendations which was nice. I will be going back again.

Been here around 10 times. Not once was disappointed. Food and service are spectacular. Mixed seafood linguine is always the main course to die for. Early bird special is well worth the price.

Really disappointed with the takeaway food this evening. We drove to collect and had high expectations especially as the food smelt so good when we arrived. We ordered 2 of the seafood linguine which was very bland, just needed some flavour in there and one of the mussels were closed which I considered careless to leave in. The garlic bread was nice and the Pollo Alla Napoli was ok. It’s an expensive takeout so we expected the food to be good. Definitely won’t be ordering from here again.

Fab Italian restaurant with attentive Italian waiters. Good choice on the menu, and will do off menu items if you ask nicely. The calzone for example was very tasty and not on the menu...yet. We went mid week it was busy but not empty. We enjoyed a delicious bottle of red with pasta and pizza. Recommended!
