I've given it a 3 because of the fries. I don't know if it's just me, but I've never had a fry more than about 4cm long. Who gets all the long fries? Are they saved for special customers? Burgers are always nice, as are the shakes, just those darn tiny fries!

Always tasty food here. Service good. Always seems to be somewhere to sit. Would highly recommend the milkshakes!

Use this place many times, always had a great service, today we was greeted by a very young rude lady on the tills, we put out request in as always on the fries being done a little longer, to be told a point blank NO, had mentioned we always ask and never been a problem, to be told again NO... carried on with my order and paid, to be then asked if I was going to pay for my coke, ( I had already paid) she then asked to see my receipt to show I've paid, then once this was Proven I was given a dirty look, unfortunately no apology, to then sit down with the girl sniggering with one of the other workers.. was not a good experience at all. Complete ignorancy. Definitely need to keep an eye on the staff.

My previous experience with Five Guys (at other locations has been good), however this wasn't the case with the one at the Meridian. I put in an online order, the burgers were ready, however they hadn't done the fries and i had to wait from scratch, this lead to the burgers (which are normally pretty good), being at best warm and very soggy.

The 'bacon' on the burger was beyond recognition, it was just carbon. I asked for hot sauce, but couldn't taste any. Overall quite bland and dry, probably the worst burger I've had since school dinners. [Responding to 5 Guys] Sounds like you deliberately make awful food if you burn the bacon and don't season the meat. No idea why there was almost no sauce when I asked for it, or why the fries (I forgot to mention those initially) were mostly about an inch long, like I'd got a scoop from the bottom of the frier. Service rating reduced to one star due to your rather unapologetic response. [End of update]

Prices were high but the food was good. £8-10 for a burger (plain, cheese, bacon) another minimum of £4 for fries and another £4-£5 for an everlasting drink. £5 for a milkshake ! For 7 of us it was £120 which is not at all cheap for fast food. However the food was fresh, good quality, quick and tasty with plenty of garnishes

The food here is so fresh and tasty, it's quite pricey, but it's worth it.

My first time at Five Guys, my partner loves the place and food, he Just Eat it very often. First impression was very American (fun) the restaurant was empty, very clean, but didn’t feel welcome. The guy at the till was friendly and when he knew my partner loves Five Guys, he and my partner had a great conversation with combinations of food and drinks. Menu is simple, burgers, hotdogs and sandwiches, you can add as much or as less toppings as you like, hence prices are expensive as you can order a burger / a hotdog and add all toppings ~ 15 of them. I ordered a cheese hotdog with mustard, onions and mushrooms, personally i didn’t think anything special about it, on the other hand, my partner ordered a cheese bacon burger with lots of toppings and he loved it. Chips were super yummy, banana milkshake was ok. Service ~ as it’s a fast food place, so we ordered food at the till, then picked a table, and collected food at the collection point, so I would say no service. We spent more than £18 per person, my partner loved the burger and said it worth every penny, I think food was ok, but too expensive for a hotdog and milkshake. Have to point out toilets are located upstairs and there are lots of steps, it will be difficult for elderly or people with infants / young children. It’s impossible for wheelchair users, as I can’t see any lift or disabled toilets on the ground floor. Also the stairs and the floor were very slippery. Tables outside as well as inside. Plenty free parking spaces, including disabled parking spaces as it’s in Meridian, it may have time restrictions.

Usually I have no issues here. This afternoon on a family meal we were greeted with a very miserable looking young woman at the till. (I can forgive that we all have bad days). Then they got my order wrong, and gave me plain chips instead of Cajun. When I took the untouched chips back to replace their error I was told to just season the ones I had and they gave me a pot of Cajun seasoning to sit and do it myself! Note the plain chips was their error. The last I would have expected was a replacement? When you pay almost £50 for two adults and a child you expect better customer service than that. Food was lovely but as always very expensive. Which is fine if we can at least get good customer service as well. Dissapointing

Food very nice, but far too expensive for a family of 4. Far too expensive in general. Was impressed with the size of a large fries as it was enough to share between two or three people but £5.95 for just fries a bit pricy. Burgers around £8 each your looking at £20 a head with a drink for a fast food restaurant. Far too much sadly.

Edit, just visited this restaurant again and this time the service was even better than the last time. Staff went out of their way to ensure everyone there was having a good time. Wish I could give them 10 stars. Again another Five Guys that deliver good food with good service.

It was a Thursday after lunch so it was pretty quiet, only us and another couple in. But the food was fresh and hot. Loads of chips as per usual.

Over priced food & absolutely filthy tables / eating area. Once asked someone did start to clean up but I didn’t even want to sit down. Food was ok but definitely not worth the money in my opinion.

First time in a 5 guys. Kids loved it. Must say burger and chips were outstanding. It just stinks a bit due to the open kitchen and all the cooking oil. Still, it's authentic 😉

Four of us came here for a birthday meal. We'd not been to Five Guys before but we weren't disappointed. We all had burgers and shared a large portion of fries. The burgers looked amazing and were quite weighty and tasted as good as they looked. The fries were lovely, fresh and crispy with a bit of salt on top. Finally, and perhaps the star of the meal, the milk shakes were phenomenal. We had a chocolate shake and a strawberry shake which were both creamy, smooth and tasty. The meals and drinks for four people came to a shade over £60 so not cheap given that it is a self service diner but it is a very, very good burger. We'll come here again.

The best milkshakes. Best fries and best hotdogs 🌭 😋 Fries are cooked in peanut oil through, so avoid if you have a nut allergy 🤔 A bit expensive but worth it as a treat once in a while.....

I think burgers in general are getting better everywhere away from the chain outlets, first time in a year at 5 guys left me unimpressed to be honest and at 32 quid for two burgers, two sodas and a shared regular fries, left me counting the cost too.my local place beats it easily in every way.

My friend ordered us a takeaway as a treat - neither of us have ever used Five Guys before. Going on the cost we were expecting a good quantity and quality of food. We were both disappointed, the burger for over £10 was small burgers (we ordered the large not small size) and just packed fat with salad. £5.70 for a milkshake and £6 for some chips - we thought a large would be plenty for 2 of us. There werent many at all. We also had a hot dog, again not very big just packed with salad to bulk it up. The food was delivered, despite only being 7/8 mins from the store it was all cold. it was "On route" for over 20 minutes so I dont know if he had numerous deliveries. The burger chips and milkshake cost over £20 (without the hotdog) - Mcdonalds quarter pounder with large fries and milkshake costs less than half of that, bigger more tastier burgers too. Very disappointed and wont be going back. £30+ for a small burger small hot dog, chips all cold - not good. I didnt notice how much she had paid at first, was astounded when I saw for the quality/quantity/taste.

Best burger I have had in a long time and the milkshakes to die for had strawberry had bits of strawberry in it. Pay for burger and all your toppings free had large chips which we shared between two. Very clean and staff very friendly. Beats burger King and mcdonalds. Also do veggie optionx

You can guarantee 5G always has space to sit down. Food is good and the milkshakes are the amazing. It's more expensive than the burger king or McDonald's, but the food taste better here. Only downside if busy, sometimes you may have to clean and wipe down your area.

First visit, 2 adults and 3 children. Server was so helpful as we were obviously clueless. Gave great recommendations so we wouldn't over order etc. Burgers and fries were great quality. Almost gawked at the price when we ordered, but we'll worth it! Would recommend and would visit again. Facilities and tables etc all nicely clean. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable.

Considering that 5 guys are a multinational chain they still produce great quality burgers and the fries are some of the best around. Highly recommended for a quick burger fix.

Best Milkshake I've had at that price point. It's on the higher side, but definitely worth it, especially considering the freedom to adapt and edit your shake.

Yuck. Expensive. Rammed full No one wearing masks and the place was dirty. £25 for two burgers some chips and drinks. Didn’t realise this was a Michelin star diner! Chips just randomly thrown in a bag

Beautiful place for family or individuals to eat peacefully without being followed by the web unfortunately kids these days don't care about education, empathy nor respect. However, staff at #fiveGuys are #employed with brilliant stance. #PayAttention
