Still love this place since the 1st time I discovered it ,good for a dog walk ,walk on your own ,bike ride or picnic on a nice day ,the lake is always full of wild birds that will be more than happy to feed off you ,there are horses at the entrance to stroke if your lucky enough, the car park is quite large too .

Nice, open space with lake, which was full with swans, ducks and other creatures. You can choose the long walks through the park. Only one negative thing - the rubbish left behind...

I really like Wyken Slough, any day of the year there are birds to be fed. I often see rare birds perched on logs protruding from the large pond. There are benches all a long the circumference of the pond, which allows for pit stops if needs be. The best part about this place, is the forraging. There is plenty to forrage, in the winter I was able to make jam from fresh damsons, bullace, rosehips, sloes and apples. If you venture into the overgrown trails beyond the pond, there is plenty to forrage and explore. I often see the odd burnt out abandoned motorcycle or trolley in bushes lol. Another good thing. is there are Horses to look at, you aren't allowed to feed them but if you go to the fence they will come and say hello. There are two distinct downsides to Wyken Slough, One: If you make the mistake of going during school pickup hours, the car park is absolutely packed and it's hard to get in or out, also people are all irritable. The only other issue, is youths on motorbikes and quad bikes like to use the field behind the pond as their track, when it rains you can see oil come up from the ground, in all the puddles. Not to mention the risk of anti-social behavior, although any sign of the police seems to make them leave. 4/5 :)

Nice place to visit a lot of swans in this park and other birds. It very shame that people don't care to keep this park clean.

Love coming here. A little oasis amongst the M6!! Peaceful, up close to nature. Moorhen & gull chicks, ducks & about 12 swans. In the summer there can be at least double that amount of swans plus their young. In the past we've seen Herons standing & flying. Nice place for families with young children, who though they're not really supposed to, do love to feed the birds. Good for dog walking, just beware, swans bite, so don't get too close!! From the slough it's possible to walk through to the Foleshill/Longford Rd. Possible to do a linear walk, following the tarmac path, or cross over the bridge at the end, good place to stop & watch the wildlife, & continue to walk over the quieter side of the Slough though make sure you have good walking shoes or old trainers on as it can be quite muddy on that side!! Take time to visit & enjoy

Nice walks here. Some paths aren't paved so not suitable for pushchairs etc. Broad range of wildlife, loads of ducks dragonflies, crickets etc. We were the only car in the carpark on a lovely Sunday afternoon.

Wyken Slough Nature Reserve are area in Coventry with a car park on Alderman's Green Rd. The main attraction here is a Wyken Pool, many birds over there and path that You can walk from two sides of the Pool. There's a good idea to walk longer into the Grasslands fields and bushes, so You will reach Dutton Rd and Business Park, then coming back on the way around. Good for a dog walkers and walkers no longer then an hour trail.

Swan Lake here, amazing. Needs a grass cut though. Suppose its not bad to to save the wildlife and insects etc.

Horses, Ducks and Nature here are treat to eyes, you get to feed the animals but do follow the instructions before feeding them. In the evenings you get to see plenty of dogs coming for walk. You get to find peace, your time and happiness which is soooo required these days!!

Nice place to walk around and see the wildlife. Could do with more benches to sit and enjoy around the lake.

Lovely place to go for walks and to enjoy nature. There's a large pool with swans and ducks. Large grass and woodland areas with many paths to explore. Some areas suffer from a small amount of littering. There is a good sized car park that is free.
