Amazing place to visit! All my family loved it! Beautiful walks and beautiful view! Inside it's a lot of history to learn and enjoy, great for children! We had a great day! Enjoyed the ice skating as well and some delicious mulled wine outside in the Christmas Market! I would definitely recommend for anyone to go! It is worth every moment!

We had a really good day at the castle the number of events were well thought out and their staging timed to allow you to walk to the next event by the shortest distance before the next event starts. All events were repeated at least twice a day. Great finale to the raptor event. Lots of places to sit and eat with spectacular views of the castle and countryside. An educational and fun day out in a well preserved piece of English heritage and history really worth a visit.

Awesome place to visit something for us all to see. The weather was great so helped my visit sat at Falconers Quest next to the river waiting to see the birds of prey. There's a good choice of foods and beverages hot or cold to choose from. I'm looking forward to going again as it's a great day out. I watched the bird's of prey show and can only say that it was truly amazing there were quite a few different birds to see and also very big ones. You certainly won't be disappointed and hopefully surprised as I was. Later I visited the dungeon oh my what an amazing performance from everyone to say I was scared during the show was an understatement. My whole visit was truly a day to remember the people behind the scenes have truly made Warwick Castle into something for everyone what a day. I didn't see the trebuchet being fired and several other bits I'm considering booking a weekend adventure when they have an event on or maybe just stay as it was so much fun. If it's not on your list of places to visit or perhaps you went 20 years ago you've got to go take the kids just have great experience with lots of memories to follow. Consider a weekend break as there's lots to do and see and a place like this is better absorbed gently. OK I feel like I'm rambling now so I'll end here.

The site is managed by Merlin entertainment. So don’t expect to visit castle and enjoy the scenery and views. The staff are there to do their job, they are not volunteers, they won’t be helpful with history and knowledge to what has happened through time to this place. If you book tickets in advance they are cheaper. Buying at the entry will cost you twice the amount. Car park is being charged at a flat rate of £6. Overall it’s a good castle to visit, it is well maintained and beautiful in its way, but disappointingly overcrowded. They should limit the tickets and not allow so many visitors. I have visited this castle once, unfortunately I won’t be coming back. It was a one off for me. If you want to save money, you can get an annual pass which will include entry to all Merlin entertainment sites. This way you won’t have to pay for car park and entry will be free.

A great day out for everyone everywhere is cleaned regularly and the toilets are good as well. Most things have to be paid for when inside like the archery, photos and the dungeon but there is a lot to see, the gardens and conservatory area is Good for a rest out of the sun . plenty of seating around the grounds there certainly is plenty to do for a full day out .

I have just had my second visit to this great place to visit. A number of years in-between, this time with my young son. He loved it. Climbing the stairs on to the castle walls, having a go at archery and also the sword lesson. Most of all though I think we both loved the falconry show the most. There was also a maze (one way route during C19) and the peacocks in the garden. Unfortunately the trebuchet was out of action (I imagine because of C19 and cried sizes) and it it did look a little worse for wear. So hopefully that will be up and running in the future as it is a great demonstration. Visiting during C19 was not as bad as I had thought. Pick your times to queue and you shouldn't have to wait to long. Face mask wearing at the right times which was mainly followed by visitors. There could do with being a few more staff ensuring that people social distance at times like when in queues though as I noticed people standing very close to us a few times. All in all a really good day out

A great day out on a lovely sunny day in September. Prebook your ticket online (24/adult) to make sure u have your entrance guaranteed and maybe a dungeon experience too ( we missed it on on-line booking and they were sold out); admire the beauty of the surrounding area from the top of the castle but make sure you don't miss the falcon quest live show (11:30 and 14:30).

Great castle with lots to look at. Falconry show was brilliant with birds flying through the crowd! Had a lovely visit with the family. One way systems in place which helped social distancing. Prices reasonable considering what's there, but take your own food and drink unless you're happy to queue for ages.

It's a unique and magical place. It's a beautiful sight. The walk along the fortress wall. Lawns for relaxation. It's a great break for the whole family. for children with strollers, as well as hard-to-move people or people with wheelchairs- there is no option to reach the fortress towers. Parking is not expensive. In my opinion, the weekend ticket price is inflated. The food is quite expensive. But there is almost every fast food - burgers, pizza, fish and chips, waffles, doughnuts and sandwiches. Payment - only accept card. I'd like to visit again. It's a great place.

Out on a lovely sunny day. Lots to do and see, from jousting in the war of the roses show to the amazing and magnificent bird show, to the scary and smelly dungeons. Sitting near the river was the perfect place to have a picnic and cool down under the shades of the trees. The castle itself is a super historic place, and the cafe located within the castle is lovely. Arrive early to get as much out of the day as possible.

Beautiful place. Lots of steep steps up to the battlements and turrets so be prepared and wear sensible shoes. Lovely raptor show too. The great hall is stunning and the maze is it’s of fun.

The place is one of the remarkable castles that England has got. How to reach: it was pretty for easy me as I stay in Leamington Spa but those who are coming from other places eg: by train Warwick railway station is the nearest station to reach(edited). If you are driving, there is a parking area but whether it will be available please check it out. There are a lot of activities that take place especially for kids less than 8 in age like Princess tower, archery and other shows will be there. The whole castle is extremely well maintained and it takes minimum 4 hours to see this castle completely unless of course you decide that this is not you signed up for 😁. There is tour every half hour where the guide takes you around and narrates the history of the castle and people involved in the recent times and some nasty decisions made in the past. Upon buying the tickets you will be given a guide article to help you navigate through the castle. There are a lot of intricate places where you must mind your head. If you are claustrophobic then you may wanna skip a few places especially the towers as the stairs up is actually a very narrow spiral 🌀 passage. If you have some trouble walking and standing in a place for a while I suggest you skip this place as this place needs a lot of walking. The efforts made towards maintaining this place as a tourist destination is astounding and are clearly visible. There are magnificent sights to take a few selfies and photographs and make memories of this place. I heard that in summer there will be many shows that are additionally added to the tour. Hence, it is better to visit in summer.

Amazing experience visiting the ancient Castle. All the areas were so beautiful and well kept. Fortunately the weather was very beautiful this day. The peacock’s garden was stunning and the birds were everywhere. A wonderful fun filled day for all the family. The dungeon was also great and we had a tour guide who explained everything to us! Definitely worth a visit.

Brilliant visit for Christmas. The castle has lots to see and do! So much so that we didn’t manage to do it all in one day. We visited the cafe which was very busy, unfortunately table service wasn’t available as tables were being held by customers who either had finished their food or were at the back of the queue! We visited for the ice skating and Christmas light trail as well. The ice skating was fantastic! Quality service and good hygiene practices in place for the skates. Lots of stewards on the ice to help with any falls, again, my complaint as with any ice rink is the amount of young children allowed on the ice, there were so many infants who couldn’t skate! Having visited local ice rinks I know they don’t let young children who can’t skate on the ice at busy times for their safety. The Christmas trail was beautiful, long enough but not too long, took us an hour to get round it with a lot of traffic! Would highly recommend and I’d visit again! Beautifully done.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful and huge medieval castle perfectly restored and preserved. The visit of the interior is fabulous with magnificent recreations of the rooms and trades of yesteryear. The exterior land is immense and very lush with a charming and elegant garden where you can have a drink in the most absolute tranquility. There are activities for the little ones and a very interesting demonstration of raptors. You can also visit the old power station. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Unforgettable memory of this wonderful visit. (Original) Precioso y enorme castillo medieval perfectamente restaurado y conservado. The history of Warwick Castle goes way back to the year 914, where an early Anglo-Saxon burh was established on the site, which was essentially an old fortified settlement. These fortifications were established by the daughter of Alfred the Great, the almighty King of Wessex, and it was one of ten, all of which had the purpose of defending Mercia against the invading Danes. This early settlement was positioned strategically as a way of dominating the Fosse Way, which was a crucial road for trading and so on.

(Translated by Google) Warwick Castle is a medieval castle built from a wooden fort built by William the Conqueror in 1068. Warwick is the county town of Warwickshire, England, situated on a bend in the River Avon. The original wooden speck and bailey castle was rebuilt in stone in the 12th century. During the Hundred Years War, the façade in front of the city was refortified, giving rise to one of the best known examples of military architecture from the 14th century. It was used as a fortress until the early 17th century, and in 1604 it was granted by James I to Sir Fulke Greville, who made it a country house. It was owned by the Greville family, who in 1759 became Earls of Warwick, until 1978 when it was acquired by the Tussauds Group.

Fabulous halloween experience. The castle after dark is superb. Live music was great. Pay in advance for the dungeon experience, it was the best thing ever, actor interaction , jump scares the lot. You do get to see a bit of the castle too and the grounds. Thoroughly recommended.

An incredible castle with beautiful scenery around. It might be smaller than many castles but you will be surprised by the fact that there is so much to do. It's an excellent day trip. Good to visit both on weekdays and weekends. Do not let the steep steps to the tower discourage you.Brave yourself to the top and you will be rewarded with amazing views. For more fun ,pack a picnic along and enjoy it there. There is an eatery there but prices are a lil bit on the higher side. A picnic saves you the spend plus gives a romantic feel to your outing.

Warwick Castle is by far the best Merlin attraction anywhere. The history of this place is incredible and netherworld are many opportunities to learn about it. The falconers quest is incredible. By far the best birds of prey show I have ever seen. The events that take place over the summer such as war of the roses is great with very talented performers. The new addition of the dog playground is very popular with the little ones. My only criticism is it needs a proper sit down restaurant.

First time here and I’ve loved my experience. Very clean and tidy, well maintained grounds. Staff were polite and informative. The falconry/ birds of prey show was the best I’ve seen. The birds were just majestic. Wow. That was the highlight of the day. Peacocks were freely walking around and it was a beautiful sight. A bit crowded at the entrance but once inside it’s nice and spacious. Car park is a bit of a walk to the entrance. Will be visiting again.

Amazing place to visit! The shows are very excited and take you back in history. You have a lot to do, we spent a great day out! You should visit the castle dungeon as well, the ticket for it are separate and you can buy them even on the day you visit the castle. Highly recommend this place!

Visited on the 26/05/2023. Family day out with 2 adults and 2 children. We all had an amazing day out. We all loved the sights of the castle and surroundings. The kids enjoyed taking part in the activities, including the ZoG trail. We spent all day here and found lots to do and discover. Beautiful scenery and definitely a huge part of British history !!! Car parking is £6 for the day. Refreshments are reasonably priced. We took a picnic as their ample areas where you can sit and enjoy the views. We didn't do the dungeons on this trip.

This was amazing experience, lots of live scenes and they have seasonal events as well. It was a bit expensive almost 40 pounds for entry, but if you have english heritage membership, it costs 19.50 which I think was great value for money! Lots of climbing in the castle as well so be prepared to get sweating!

The most beautiful and preserved castle I have ever visited. An incredible walk through time. I had no idea how it could be inside a castle like that, everything I've thought it was, actually it wasn't. If you have a dream of being in a time travel and see all those things we've only seen on movies. You really have to check this out!

Not cheap but you get what you pay for and it's quite good. We spent a little extra and visited the dungeons which was one of the best dungeon experiences we've had, very entertaining and making the audience part of the show. I recommend a visit here most definitely but don't expect it to be cheap.

Great outdoor attraction good for walking on good weather days can be cold in autumn wind high up when climbing stairs. My highlight was looking forward to the falcon show would have been boring without it, great show love how the birds come flying over crowds. Small dungeon attraction was good fun although no pics allowed.

Fab day out, the falcons quest show is amazing. Some things are closed due to COVID, very few food trucks and food. Fine for drinks but suggest bringing a pack lunch or heading into Warwick for food. Hand sanitizer stations all over and spacing out at shows and when you walk round is well organised. The walk around the top is definitely not one for people with any walking issues, there's alot of steep narrow stairs to contend with

Warwick castle is a really nice place to go to in summer The birds fly over your heads with the birds of prey display flying to the turrets of the castle The merlin tower was here when I visited but I didn’t get the chance to see it and the company with me was a bit disappointed but there will be other times someday I like the water wheel around the back of the castle that used to run the electric for the castle in olden times and the school room performance was fun to watch picking people out from the crowd I enjoyed walking around the inside of the castle to and the most beautiful woman in the whole of England supposed to of lived at the castle but you will read about all this on the readable material when you visit I was going to have a carvery at the castle in the restaurant but it looked more like a cafe and the selection wasn’t vast enough and this is my only fault but apart from this the waffles and I’ve cream we bought were lovely especially shared with someone you care about more than another xx

Attended the castle for the christmas events. We did the ice skating and looked round the stalls. The ice skating was well organised with overlapping slots so there was never a huge rush to get on/off the ice. Lots of hand sanitiser available and you had to wear your mask at all times even though the rink is outside. It felt very covid safe. The stalls were a little disappointing as there was only one hot food stand so lots if queuing and not much room for this making it impossible to adequately social distance. However the other stalls were good (gin, cheese, natural soaps etc).

Don't waste your money on the Christmas experience, you pay extra for the light trail and in total its extortionate price at £117, I can see the same lights for free walking down my High Street. Visited on 07/12/20. Christmas market was slightly disappointing with only around 15 or so stall but we didn't really visit for the shopping experience tbh. The ice skating and light trail were worth the visit and at no time were you felt rushed with your allocated time slot. One star knocked off for the additional £10 pay and display carparking fee upon arrival, £6 for the overflow parking which is about 5-10min walk to the Castle entrance I believe.

What a fantastic visit myself and my family had, we travelled down from Essex and stayed in a hotel for the night. I would 100% reccomend a visit if you have not done so yet. The Falconer's Quest is a must, both of my children aged 7 and 4 loved it as did myself and my husband. The staff were helpful. We are looking forward to coming back again next year. Thank you to the staff at Warwick Castle for a memorable visit.

It is a definite must for all history enthusiasts and for everyone enjoying historical places, castles, medieval architecture and wax model reenactment like the figurines inside will prove. However most of the furniture and weapons inside are from the castle and from the correct time period. Fabulous English castle.

The most incredible castle we have ever visited!! A beautiful journey into the past. You can comfortably stay during the day to watch everything. I will definitely go again. Anyone who has not visited it yet should go tomorrow. A magic place to be😁😁

Amazing views of the town from different towers. Staterooms, kingmaker and peacock garden are top attractions. It is a good day out with friends and family. Though there is no provision to take a pram on the towers so be wary of it. Bird show was quite interesting as well.

Recently visited for the Blue Light Day First time visiting with a 6 and 3 year old. Plenty to keep them entertained in a great setting. The kids loved the sword shows and the bird displays. Would revisit, especially when the zog playground is built.

It's a long 20 min walk from the overflow car park to the entrance. Lots to do in the rain or sunshine and you learn a lot. Good value for money.

Warwick Castle was fun! The gift shops are a bit lacking, but that's my only real negative. I would definitely suggest checking out the Falconer's Quest Birds of Prey show. Also, the view of the castle and surrounding areas from the high walls is absolutely stunning. This would be the best school trip for a younger audience.

Very beautiful castle, both the interior and exterior of the castle are in a very nice shape! The castle and it's grounds have lots to do for both children and adults. Downsides are the relatively high price on the entrance tickets, the food is somewhat expensive and was mostly sold out around 14:00. And the toilets could be cleaner. Overall would recommend!

Amazing experience, with many shows, free tours, and things to see and try yourself.  It is definitely worth the ticket, you also have a discount if booked in advance. The falconer's quest was fabulous. There are many facilities for children, a big playarea and activities just for them. The only negative is that from 15:30 many of the food trails (to buy a proper meal, not sweets and donuts) start to close. I truly recommend it!

Nice castle, family orientated so good for kids. Big grounds. Food options limited, not much in way of gluten free for celiac so had to leave to get food. Best part was the falconry show which was absolutely amazing, price of entry is worth it just to see that.

We have a wonderful day. It was fun and exhausting. However, given that it costs SO much to go in the castle for the day it was very disappointing that the dungeons were an exta cost, as were some of the kids activities like archery etc. For a family of 5 it cost us £160 for a day ticket. The dungeons would have been an extra £40 if booked online, or £50 if brought on the day. The bird show was fantastic and definitely something I recommend seeing. There is lots to do and see. Climbing was great fun but exhausting and definitely not for anyone scare of heights! Car parking is also an additional cost too. £10 for the day if you park closer to the castle, or £6 if you park further away. The parks are quite a walk away. A good 15 minutes walk.

I had an amazing time visiting this weekend. I tried so many different things and loved walking around in my Knights costume. It was a little hot and I could have done with a few more water points to fill my water bottles but I really enjoyed the dungeon, archery and birds of prey the most 👍

Absolutely incredible. Lovely day out. Fantastic weather and the perfect place to visit Warwick castle. Beautiful peacocks. Amazing horsemen/woman ship. Brilliant Falcon quest display. I was lost for words seeing those wonderful birds of prey. Truly stunning. The castle is a historical treasure trove. Thank you to all staff/workers for a great experience. Absolute STARS.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Lovely day our for the family; went on a extremely hot day with a 2 year old so I will warn people that it is better for those without buggies ,(but you can leave buggies in areas) and a lot of the activities are without shelter so heavy rain and in my case; strong sunlight can affect your experience. Would highly rate the falconry and jousting (which is covered) and the kids theatre (again outside) is wonderful. Definitely take a trip but keep an eye on the forecast.

Always a superb day out - get an annual pass if you’re local. We come here for the Zogg-themed playground all the time or simply for a picnic or walk. There’s so much to do and probably too much for a full day if you’re new to it. The castle is superb and so well kept. The outside events are brilliant also. Loads of food choices. Pricey so a packed lunch is best. Get the app for times of live events. Depending on the time of year there are seasonal things too. Loads of parking in the official car park or park in one of the long stay car parks on busy days as the overflow at Warwick Castle is a long walk for small legs! All in all, a superb place for a day (or two) out with the family. Stunning surroundings, loads of space, and incredible views from Guy’s Tower! Bring comfortable shoes and plenty of water (lots of walking) We love our annual pass as we can wander in and around whenever we fancy!

We went to Warwick castle just before the bank holiday during the summer holidays. It was really good. There was no queue to get in considering it was August. The new play area is really good. The maze is entertaining for adults and kids. Everyone is very nice and polite. The castle is clean and lovely to walk around.

Lovely experience especially for kids. Beautiful outdoor areas to relax in and there is a tea house to get a drink as well. Check the special events as there are often lovely events to take advantage of. When we went Gwen Stefani was there preparing for her concert which was lovely to see. There are a few souvenir shops as well to purchase something memorable. Few places in the gardens to but something to eat or grab a drink as well which is great. It is paid parking which is disappointing but apart from that the experience is lovely. Below scores are out of 10 😉 Customer Service   10 🙂 Food Quality   8 🙂 Atmosphere   10 🙂 Presentation   10 🙂 Location   10 🅿️ Parking:    Lots of paid parking available Overall   9.5 ⭐️

An enjoyable day out. Great history only enhanced by the live shows that brought it all to life. The falconry show was the best I've seen. A fun packed day with lots to do. Would recommend.

Wow!!!! So much more than i expected!! The kids had so much to do and see,and most of it free once you're inside! I would have give 5 stars except all the food stalls were closed except for a cafe. We were very hungry by the end of the day .I also think £10 for the car park is a lot. Staff were friendly and helpful, there were plenty of toilets. And so much to see and do In beautiful surroundings.

I came for the Christmas light trail and absolutely loved it! The lights were beautiful, the castle was amazing and the bratwurst from the market was superb. Overall, it was wonderful!

We went to see the lights trails for the Christmas period, and it was a great experience. Tickets were cheaper after the peak season and also there were no queues to enter. Would highly recommend

Really nice experience, lots of steps. Would of been better if the weather was nicer. We watched a bird show which too was lovely however the speakers mic could of been louder as you couldn't hear very well. Definitely visit again.

We had a lovely day out there. Grounds are massive and well looked after. The castle itself is very grand and amazing to explore. Would definitely recommend visiting it for everyone who are interested.

👍👍 Great day out for people of all ages, some walkways are up/down hill but smooth so people with mobility issues can manage. Places to buy drinks or snacks but plenty of benches if you bring your own food. We parked in the Stables car park which is dearer but as my wife has a bad knee was far closer t...
