Tourist attraction Nature preserve

👍👍 Bluebells abound here! Lovely to see the bluebells out and listening to the birds singing. So enchanting and peaceful. You may even find the solitary bench somewhere in a small clearing near the centre of the woodland. Take a seat, sip from your flask of warm tea and soak up the atmosphere! People often mention walk, Lovely, great,

Lovely woods, great with the kids and/or the dog. Great all year round. It's looked after well and had signs around to tell you all about the different trees and plants.

Lovely wood. Takes an hour's gentle stroll. Beautiful carpets of bluebells at this time of the year. Helpful info boards all the way round. Grateful to those who manage and maintain this lovely area.

Tucked away at the end of a quiet 60's housing complex, this walk is obviously popular and justifiably so. As a starter to a serial country walker its fits the bill. Wait till the bluebells "erupt" in all their glory and I guarantee you'll return.

A lovely circular walk with great views over the fields. Good signage to explain what each area is. Parking is in the local street, it wasn't busy when we were there but I imagine it could be. A great place to walk a dog and the kids loved it too!

Tranquil wood, very well maintained and great for dog walks. Amazing displays of Bluebells in the Spring. Also many posted signs explaining the natural habitat, very interesting and informative.

Visit Millisons several times a week with my springer, she thoroughly enjoys her runs there. Access is good, however at this time it's quite boggy in places. The bluebells are usually spectacular at this time of year, but this has been dampened by the rain. Its an Ideal walk around for all the family and well worth a visit.

Lovely walk round woods looking at the bluebells. Very muddy but we'd had loads of rain week before, so no surprise. Wear your wellies if its been rainy 👍🙂

Lovely walk through the woods, off the main road through Meriden , leading too long walks through the farmers fields , obviously keeping off the crop fields . You can lose yourself for a good few hours if you just keep walking . Enjoy .

Great little woods for a short walk with kids. If you have a baby, take them in a sling. We made a mistake with taking a pushchair - in some places we had to carry it. But apart from that we had a lovely time. Bluebells are already blooming. Note, there's no designed parking but you can park on Albert Road.

Lovely woods, great for walking the dog... Shame to see so many trees fallen, lovely to see early signs of spring though...

👍 I visited Shirley Park a few days back and I do love it. It is a simple park with playground, tennis court, a nice football field, great for walking dogs and really serene. I would have given it a 5star but I have been to more beautiful parks that this within Birmingham. If you live around Solihull...
