We came here with our grandchildren and guide dog puppy. They all had such fun. Great playground for the children to enjoy plus a painted road layout which they loved racing around on their scooters. Nice grassy area for dogs to run around on too. There is also a cafe and public toilets too.

Nice park with a play area for smaller children 6 months to 10 years. Tarmac area for scooters bikes and roller skates. Green grass for a picnic or other sports. Also has tennis courts.

Nice local park. Lots of Spring Flowers coming up thanks to Friends of Spencer Park. With newly tarmaced paths, children's play area, grass for ball games, it's a great family area. Used for picnics in warmer weather.

Among other nicely attended community parks this one is also very lovable for me with its tender view, planted memory trees, flower-beds, alleyways. Cosy and peaceful green area of the city which is much worthy for a visit especially in springish, smily weather.

Nice park. Few facilities. The children play area is good too. The climbing frames have slopes and climbing wall holds rather than steps which make it less ideal in the wet, and more tricky for toddlers, but overall a nice play area.

Very quiet and spacious, and you can see the actual train passing by right next to the park 😆 highly recommend this park for the dog owners and the kids who want to play basketball!!!

Lovely park which is best when the toilets are open! Great for picnics and good to take younger kids on bikes/scooters as there is a little bike "track" on the playground.

Lovely place, but the bathrooms are ALWAYS LOCKED! The pavillion could probably do with some work in general, including the café (if it even still exists? It only opened about a year or so ago and then I haven't seen it open since.) Benches are also horribly burned.

A lovely park. We went to the Band's in the Park there. Dedicated friends of the park were very active round the pavilion, where they had a seaside at Spencer Park.

Stopped off for an ice cream and sit down in the sun. Only £1 for a magnum where else could you get such a good deal and fantastic staff who were polite and very friendly. A little gem in the heart of the community a must for everyone to visit.

Nice open park, however could have done with the grass being cut, 😕

A hugely enjoyable and valuable green space in the city, with football posts and a basketball court. Lots of friendly dog walkers around to socialise and expertise your best friend :)

I visited last weekend for the dog show. A wonderful park. Lovely people keeping the park and pavilion running. I am going to help raise money towards the pavilion renovation target. Such a great facility it cant be lost

Went and had knock about tennis with my son, the courts are very nice and nicely painted. There is a playground for the little ones, the cafe wasn't open but understands it opens for a few hours at the weekend.

Great park with the options of a side with a play area and safe area for little ones to learn to ride a bike and another side with wide open space to run, play football or walk the dog. Only down side is the amount of dog mess left in the grass on the side with the play area but that's down to selfish owners.

Lovely little park, ideal for small children to play and practice riding bikes and scooters. Has a small cafe, didn't get chance to check opening times but was open when I visited

This is a very calm quiet park if you just want a few minutes to urself. Not very lively but really fantastic if you want some quality ‘me’ time! Nice play area.

Small, well-kept park - sat on a bench to eat my lunch, and enjoyed the spring colours

is a wonderful place for relaxation and leisure. The park offers vast green spaces, well-maintained lawns, and beautiful trees. There are good walking paths in the park, perfect for strolling and jogging. Additionally, you can find a children's playground with various play attractions. Overall, is a pleasant and peaceful place to enjoy nature and spend time outdoors.
