Here, sure everyone came here as children. Used to have summer fetes. Today was cold, ice on canal. Taken the 20 minute walk to the longford Engine and back. Easy to park here. I brought my mum here last time for breakfast at the Greyhound, it was cold then.

Handy car parking for stopping off for a short walk around the two canals. Scenic bridges and structures with bonus boats passing through to entertain the kids. Adjacent pub has outdoor seating.

Nice place for a sunny spring, you get the view of the canal, the boats. there is a path for a walk around the area. there are lots of B&Bs in the area and the boats can also be hired for short stay via airbnb website. would recommend to explore

It was a beautiful place to visit and steeped in history. Has a family pub for a rest and atmosphere as you watch the world go by.

A good place to turn the narrow boat around.

It seems to be closed to the public so we were only able to view the outside.

Lots boats, only a few spots to moor, had to pass through and go up to the armco about 1/2 mile up. Get there early is best and if you got a long drive to and get there latish you are likely to have a bit of a walk to the pub. Good shopping within 1 1/2 miles.

Excellent canal side place to visit for a leisurely stroll, has a pub with reasonably prices food & drink, clean & tidy thanks to the great volunteer team who looks after the area

The only downside was the building that the canal river trust running as I need to be tidying up with a new roof on it as need to go back band have time to look at the bridge

Idyllic canal side area. Well kept and quiet. Perfect for a dog walk or a pint at The Greyhound.

Went here for lunch during a recent canal trip. It was just as good as we remembered it. We had their famous pies - a beef bourguignon and stilton and a chicken pot pie topped with pulled ham and a cheese cobbler. These came with nicely cooked veg and very good chips. Definitely no room for dessert!

A beautiful natural canalside setting, with genuine historical cottages and the legendary Greyhound pub, which is very old and full of character...love it 👌😎

Where the north Oxford canal meets the Coventry canal. There is a pub there, so it's a haven for gongoozlers. The challenge for boaters, is trying to make the turn at the junction when the wind is blowing!! A historic canal site, the only drawback is the water points have 18th century water pressure..... very slow! Best make a cup of tea while you fill up.

My 1st time I visited. Definitely great to have joined this walk with Positive Youth Foundation. Did not know how beautiful it is to do canal walks.

Really nice area. Lovely walks around here. Relatively quiet but lots of barges to check out.

A great place to hang out with a drink or snack at the pub to watch us hapless boaters navigate a complex junction. 🌞

Love this junction. Great place for gongoozling (watching boats) perform a tricky manoeuvre!

Lovely place to moor , we're only here for the night, we've done all the coventry stuff before, the shop in village is open, water, yoilet emptying, facilities usually we would have a meal at the Greyhound pub, but due to Covid pubs are still closed, but hopefully next time we pass through we will have another fab evening meeting like minded boaters, Strange times we're in right now, but we just livd canalmlife do we judy carry on ebjouingnit xxx

Interesting viewing of the boats manoeuvring and great pub. Plenty of mooring under the bridge and past the pump house only a ten minute pleasant walk

Walked from Coventry, nice location to walk on to Ansty, Bedworth or Nuneaton. Some very interesting historical architecture, the bridge from the 1837 ( Brittania foundry in Derby) and the old power house among others. Nice spot for a picnic and maybe visit the pub the Greyhound.

Lovely area for walks, convenient parking right after you turn before the bridge. Canals are actually very long and allow you a long distance hike but the cleanliness is not always great on the way tho..

A lovely spot for a walk on a sunny day. There were lots of boats along the path more than I have ever seen before. Grandson enjoyed running over the bridges and exploring the locks. The Greyhound pub at the turning point is a great place for a refreshment if you can get a seat as often busy otherwise bring your own and sit on one of the public beaches

A good place to watch and rate boat handling skills. Busy pub, busy parking on the weekends. Not a bad little place.

😐 The park has gone downhill this last year. One of the swings has broken and been removed and there is graffiti amd naughty drawings everywhere. I think the council jave given up with it and the wreckless uncaring youths have taken it over
