Unpleasent Food. Starters and main dishes pretend to be very exquisite but failed. Nice decor of the place.

Food here is absolutely delicious! Very special and fantastic local food ! Just unbelievable good . It is must to visit this restaurant and to eat here. The highest level of cooking 🧑‍🍳 This is one of the best dinning experiences one can ever have. Besides I must mention an excellent service. A team is very professional and passionate about their job.

The veal tartare is very memorable, the atmosphere is refined and casual. Perfect place for a romantic luncheon on a trip sightseeing to Serra de Estrella.

This is going to be michelin star rated restaurant very soon. Hard to imagine a better place in town. Incredible what the chef is doing, while the servers already have the etiquette of working in a star restaurant. And all of that for a very moderate price.

While staying at Casa das Muralhas guest house, I made dinner reservations at the restaurant. I had a combination of starters including a delicious creamed vegetable soup with a sprinkling of herbs and nice croutons for crunch. I also tried their Cheese crisp with was a warm local Serra de Estrella (Star Mountain Range) sheep cheese inside a crispy pastry. This was one of the best cheeses I have tasted. My entrée the first night was delicious vegan meatballs with a curry coconut coating served on a bed of flavorful spiced rice with a few purple cauliflower florets for texture, taste and color. Fantastic dish. The second night my entrée was a noodle pasta with sautéed mixed vegetables in a soy ginger broth. Again, this was very flavorful, great texture and a beautiful presentation. My desert the first night was a warm brownie with pecans and assorted fruits moated in a fig preserve and a topping of tangerine sorbet with an additional topping of a fresh physalis. My second night, my desert was an apple crumble topped with vanilla ice cream and surrounded by assorted fruits. The deserts were a combination of textures and sweet and tart flavors that were perfect! Overall I really loved everything about Casa das Muralhas restaurant and I highly recommend that you visit if you are in the area.

Food was perfect and nicely presented. Large choice of wine from the area. The waiters are really nice and thoughtful.

Good environment, with great care taken to conform with Covid regulations. The food was very good and fairly priced. The restaurant was full (with appropriately distanced tables) and the two servers did a great job looking after everyone. My only slightly negative comment is that the waiter/sommelier was a little enthusiastic with his recommendations, but was generally knowledgable and professional.

for me this is best place in covilhã with best delicious food and the atmosphere really calm .Everything is so perfect and not to much expensive but the food mmuuaah .
