We got certified for open water diving with Barefoot and the experience was wonderful. The pricing was very affordable for a 3day training course with two dives/ day. Our instructor Adi was very communicative, patient, knowledgeable, and down to earth. He answered all of our questions and made the process so smooth and easy. The staff were very friendly and fun and gave great recommendations for local food options too. The dives were absolutely mind blowing: water was crystal clear and the ecosystem was just thriving and fascinating. Can’t recommend this enough!

Don't go anywhere else to dive in Cozumel. As a party of three, we all completed our Advanced Open Water Certificates with the team plus several recreational dives for 27 total dives - each one was professional, safe and a whole lot of fun! The whole team is amazing and genuinely love what they do! Special thanks to Offir and Omar who own the shop for their patience and flexibility. And to Adi, Eyal, Marcus and Karen our guides and instructors! The boat used is super spacious and clean with amazing food and a great crew! Overall just an amazing experience and a family we didn't want to leave! Also - everyone loves dogs and Taco is the best!

I had an amazing scuba diving experience at Barefoot in Cozumel. My instructor, Alex, was so friendly and professional, and the vibes were great! A bit more details: The staff was flexible and adjusted the schedule for my arrival from Playa. We took a taxi to the marina, so there was minimal carrying of the equipment. The boat crew was super nice and provided fresh fruit, lunch, and cookies during the dives. The boat was big and comfortable with plenty of shade (though I chose to stay on the sunny side 🙃). The diving site was fantastic, and we were lucky to spot a sea turtle and a shark while swimming through the reef. I also bought the photo service and got 190 photos and videos from the dive. If you're in Cozumel, Barefoot is the perfect place for scuba diving!

I'll be forever grateful to Barefoot Dive Center and my wonderful instructor Inna for allowing me to discover the incredible world of scuba diving. Cozumel was one of the stops of my cruise and I thought it was the perfect place to learn how to dive and potentially start my scuba diving journey as a regular activity. I would define my excursion as "life changing" because nothing can prepare you for what you actually get to experience. I was overwhelmed by everything that surrounded me. A visitor in a different world full of life and wonders. My instructor Inna made me feel completely comfortable and this made the difference during the whole dive because I always felt totally secure and I could appreciate every moment. I'm looking forward to get my Open Water certificate to continue my journey in scuba diving and get to realize new fantastic experiences!

What a great day of diving!! The boat was great, the crew were amazing and Karen was the best! They made everything so easy from booking our dive at the last minute down to all the details of getting to the marina, what to expect at the sites, safety and fun! We're Dive masters in the Midwest and absolutely would Dive with this shop again! There was no rush to the day, instructions were well explained, they team was so pleasant and the overall atmosphere made for the best day of diving! HIGHLY recommended! Fantastic dive centre with an emphasis on enjoying diving. My partner and I are very experienced dive instructors and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Barefoot. The boat has plenty of space, they don't rush you, the lunch was great! They are very professional but still laid back, giving a chilled vibe while being safe. Diving off their boat we saw Sharks, Turtles, Eagle rays as well as plenty of other things. All staff are friendly and attentive however I have to give a shout out to our 3 guides while we were there. Thanks Keren, Eyal and Camilla. We will be back!

My girlfriend and I got our PADI open water certification with Barefoot diving. Starting from the get-go, when we were making reservations, all the communications were clear, and the pricing is arguably the most affordable in Cozumel, without compromising any of the items and details. Our instructor was Adi, and we only have good things to say about him. He is very knowledgeable, patient, and laid-back, making the entire experience very enjoyable. All the staff at Barefoot diving are also super nice and friendly. On the final day, we went to two different sites for the boat dive, and it was the most phenomenal underwater experience we’ve ever had even after years of snorkeling.

This is the best dive shop in Cozumel, for sure. They have their own boat, they take care of everything for you (really good lunch on the boat), and the instructors are wonderful! Highly recommended!
