We have tried multiple South Hills venues for Sushi, but Oya is our absolute favorite. Each of their rolls are fresh, flavorful, and have their own unique tastes. All of the menu items we have tried have also been fresh, authentic, and tasty but their Sushi keeps us coming back. The owners and staff are very welcoming and appreciate their customers. Oya is Byob at no extra charge and there happens to be a bottle shop right next door! My belly is always happy after eating at Oya.

Its a Monday night and we are in downtown and craved for some K-BBQ. So why not take another 1 hour bus to Mt Lebanon. The host I believe she is Korean, she is very friendly and hospitable. But the restaurant was short-staffed so it took her 30' for us to order and another 30' to have our food. Because everybody have the same situation, and understand the situation so nobody seems to angry or upset and wait her patiently. You can shoot some "Gamsamhanida" or "Jal meo-geo-sseum-ni-da", she will be very happy. We have the BBQ Grill and you have to order at least 2lbs of choice of protein to have the grill table. Its a Monday night we got there by 5.30 or 6pm and longer we wait the guest just coming in so the restaurant with the capacity of 25 is full. Later fater we go there are to go and take away order as well so the lady is not going crazy, I will give her that, she did her best but still should have someone help her will be better. We have pork belly and marinated beef sirloin. We love the samgsupsal but the beef marinate was ok not as I expected should go for the bulgogi. The banchan (side dishes) were all lovely, just for me I dont like onion, or any kind of peppers kimchi so I didnt touch it. But you combine the lettuce, the grilled meat and the banchan and sauce, that will be the correct way to eat K-BBQ. The sauce, we need more (luckily we dont have to pay for the extra) but I believe its just a plain soybean paste (I think they have mixed with something else but Im not sure). You should bring change of clothes after you eat because, there will be smoke from the grill at every table (oh and the grilled table they only have 5 of them so better go hurry for dinner). That smoke will stay until the end of the night so if you go somewhere else after that bring a shirt with you. And they dont have the ventilators at every table so the smoke is kinda bad. Other than that, I would love to try place again <3

SO TASTY!!!!! The service here was so awesome! Our server continuously checked up on us and she always made sure we got whatever we needed and explained anything we seemed confused on. The food was delicious! It was me and my friends’ first time and we all enjoyed it. Would recommend coming here!

We sat at one of the Korean BBQ tables. They were super helpful when we had any questions on how to cook the meat on the BBQ. The kimchi was spicy, and crunchy and just right. The meat is ordered by pound and there is a two pound minimum so I would recommend for the BBQ portion to go with 2 or more people. We will be back!

Our family has had the opportunity to live several places, so our palettes are pretty well developed (especially for kids). Our family relocated here in 2019, and have been disappointed in ethnic cuisines. We are so pleased to find this place and will be back. Satisfying.

Great ramen! My husband got the bulgogi ramen and I got the chicken ramen. The meat was freshly grilled up for our dishes which was noticeable from the tenderness and flavor. We both asked for spicy and our ramens had a good peppery burn to them... Not too much to miss the flavors, but just enough to have a little bite to it. Great fast service with a smile.

Oya is definitely a hidden gem. Small but genuine delicious food made by the owner a sweet Korean lady. Nothing to complain about this restaurant. My family and I been going to this place for the past 3 years and we are never unsatisfied by it. Great place to eat.

This is, without hesitation, my FAVORITE place to eat. By far, the BEST Kimchi Jjigae I've ever eaten. The owners are wonderfully kind and always check to make sure your meal was pleasant. The staff is top notch and the food is ALWAYS delicious. I wish I could give this place more stars!!!

The service was incredibly friendly, and the food was SUBLIME. The bulgogi is perfectly marinated and tender, and the shrimp is also perfectly seasoned! If I could give this 100 stars I would!

Just tried it out of randomly driving by. Was not crowded. Server was friendly and informative. Food was good; meat is seasoned well. Lots of add-ons to choose from. Very good place and convenient. Could get crowded quickly as it is on the small side. Note: it is BYOB

This is by far the worse Korean bbq and overall restaurant. We went there (family of 4). The place is dirty. The food is low quality. The server had dirty clothes. Overall horrible. We were able to walk out but said let’s give it a try. We did leave in the middle of it. The only reason they are in business is because there nothing better around
