I had a haircut and color done today with Harbor. Harbor was really good - knows her job, very professional. She made sure to listen to me and gave a really nice bouncy/ layered haircut and color that made me look fabulous! The whole vibe in this place is so good! As soon you enter, you feel like you're in good hands, they greet you with such a big smile and make sure you're comfortable!

I’m a recently new client and have gone to Shannon twice for my haircut. She is so kind and welcoming, and has done an absolute great job each time! Will definitely continue going to the shop, especially for a cut and color refresh for the holidays!

Brooke is so kind, sweet & patient. She did both of our daughters’ first haircuts and treated them like her own. We are 100% happy with the final results.

Harbor Rockwell took my appointment of a haircut, dye touch up, and waxing the day before. Easy to find the location and even better service. Brooke did my hair for my wedding. Her and Harbor also did all of my bridesmaids hair for my wedding. Brooke and Harbor did an amazing job! I loved my hair and so did all of my bridesmaids. Brooke is so nice and always made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. She checked in with me on multiple occasions leading up to the wedding day to see how I liked my trial, helped set up a timeline, etc. I will always recommend Brooke to anyone looking for wedding hair or any hair needs!

Shannon did a great job with my hair cut!! She was very communicative throughout the process and made sure I understood/liked everything she would be doing. She gave me some helpful tips on how to reduce itchy scalp and so far it is helping my hair tremendously. Will definitely be coming back, they were awesome! Amazing, affordable, knowledgable.

Wonderful salon. Great people and VERY skilled hair stylists! Went there for the first time a few months ago. Was super late for my appointment (which I do not condone) because I have a very poor concept of directions and am still getting familiar with the Pittsburgh area; not only did they still manage to fit me in, but they all treated me with incredible kindness and my stylist Shannon still took her time and treated me with great care. Shannon is awesome. She did such a great job at my first appointment, that I just went to her again yesterday because I didn’t have the heart to get my hair cut anywhere else even though I don’t live super close to this salon. Based on my input and her professional knowledge/experience, she knew (both times) exactly what my hair needed to give it more life and make me feel beautiful. My experience with practically all other places I have had my hair cut is that the stylists often rely too heavily on what I say I want and are afraid to apply their own professional knowledge OR the converse of the stylists doing something a little more drastic or extreme than I was expecting without communicating clearly with me about their plans for my cut before hand. Shannon had the perfect balance of listening and doing what I requested, while still confidently applying her background and skills to make me look and feel great. She is very good at communicating her ideas/suggestions too—no surprises. I knew from my first interactions with her that I could rest easy because I was in VERY good hands. This is what I have been waiting for in a hair stylist and why I plan to go to her for as long as I can. Shannon also has fantastic advice when it comes to products and day-to-day hair-care. She really seems to love and put a ton of care into her profession. She displays a great drive to serve her clients well and send them home feeling great, and that she does (at least for me 😊)! She is also a lot of fun to talk to; both times I have felt like I could chat with her all day about all sorts of things!! You will certainly be blessed any time you go to Brooke Rockwell Hair Design and will leave feeling well cared-for in more ways than one! I spoke very highly about Shannon, but I get the sense that all of the stylists are incredibly skilled, and everyone I have interacted with has been very kind as well. If you’re questioning whether or not you should schedule an appointment with them, stop questioning and just do it. You won’t be disappointed.

I am so happy and feel so lucky that Brooke's Salon was able to do my hair on my wedding day! Shannon was able to style hair for 8 girls hair in less than 4 hours, and many of the girls had thick, long hair. Shannon is so sweet, fun, and made the morning fun! We had our hair done in the salon and our makeup vendor (Allison Renock) was there as well. We were able to relax in their beautiful salon, listen to music, and eat breakfast as we took turns getting pampered. It was one of my favorite parts of the wedding weekend, and everyone looked and felt so beautiful, and their hair stayed that way the whole wedding day. Brooke and Shannon are so down to earth and made the whole process easy. They are very reasonably priced. You can't go wrong by booking their services!
