Enquired
in
the
hotel
about
use
of
the
pool
with
my
3yo
son.
We
were
told
for
£10,
we
were
welcome
to
use
only
the
pool,
and
to
just
book
an
appointment.
Living
local,
I
thought
this
was
a
facility,
my
son
and
I
could
make
use
of
weekly.
On
our
1st
arrival
I
was
informed
it
was
£12,
and
that
the
mens
changing
rooms
were
out
of
order,
this
was
not
an
issue
and
we
stayed
for
1
hour
and
had
a
great
time,
upon
leaving
we
tried
to
grab
a
coffee,
but
was
advised
by
a
spa
user,
it
would
be
better
to
go
into
the
hotel.
On
trying
to
book
the
following
week
by
phone
during
the
week,
it
took
over
a
dozen
attempts
throughout
the
day
to
get
through
to
book,
we
got
through
eventually.
We
arrived
and
had
the
correct
change
ready
for
the
2nd
time,
and
we
were
greeted
by
a
staff
member
who
told
me
they
had
never
heard
of
being
allowed
in
for
£12
for
only
a
swim,
but
allowed
me
to
go
ahead,
still
no
mens
changing
rooms,
and
still
no
one
serving
at
their
cafe/refreshments,
But
we
had
a
great
time
once
again.
I
left
my
details
for
someone
to
contact
me
to
explain
if
I
was
able
to
return
at
this
rate.
They
advised
me
on
leaving
it
would
be
£31
and
I
require
a
gym/spa/swimming
pass
to
enter.
My
mum,
who
is
a
long
term
customer
of
the
hotel
contacted
the
hotel
again
during
the
week
to
see
if
this
was
a
mistake
and
explained
the
situation
as
she
had
also
been
on
a
couple
of
occasions
that
it
was
possible
to
attend
the
pool
for
£12.
That
was
Friday,
and
we
are
still
awaiting
a
return
call
from
the
manager.
If
this
is
not
possible
at
this
rate,
I
can
completely
accept
this,
but
to
be
told
by
several
staff
members
different
prices
on
different
occasions,
this
is
embarrassing
when
I
turn
up,
and
not
the
level
of
service
a
5*
hotel
should
provide.
