Excellent family run Bar and Restaurant! Great staff, Amazing food and located right in the heart of Portadown Town Centre, Joe Mac's is a hidden gem ready to be explored!

I was in Joe Macs last night with 3 of my friends when a man and a woman sitting behind us began to make racist comments about us in a very loud and angry tone. I told a staff member at the bar that I felt uncomfortable and also spoke to the bouncer who said he will keep an eye on the situation. Another friend joined us for 30minutes and when my friend left the table, the man behind us then shouted at us saying he wanted to shoot him because he didn’t like him as he was from a different country. One of my friends responded with “but he didn’t say anything to you or bother you so why is that a problem” the bouncer watched the whole encounter and the conversation and then came up and told us that it is our fault because we are keeping him going. How were we keeping him going? Because we are from a different country we should just let people be racist towards us?

Naomh is by far the best bar maid I have ever seen and trust me I have been to a lot of bars and seen a lot of bar tenders and bar maids! Absolutely the toppopest of the top quality service I have ever had and really makes you feel at home when you’re at joe Mac’s. Definitely recommend if you love top quality service and the best of food and drinks. And not to take any spotlight away from the star but I must mention Jodie as she has to be also one of the best bar maids I have ever met, definitely the best group of staff I have ever met in an establishment! Jodie makes the best brain haemorrhage shots you have ever tasted and the is absolutely no doubt about that. One of the most friendliest of people and great craic to say the very very least. If you attempt this absolutely amazing bar and restaurant these two are definitely the bar maids you need to be looking out for as they the most respected people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. NYE, no room inside, so had a drink at the seating area outside which is quite good. The heating outside works well and the pints are good.

Best bar in portadown by a mile the staff is very friendly the bar woman noamh I think it is is the best bar woman I've ever seen she's non stop a pure work horse, she's also very hot I think I fancy her... jodies aiight too

Lovely food at good prices. There is also an outside seating area which is good.

Went here on new year's eve for a few drinks and enjoyed it. No room inside so set outside and the heating was very good, pints very good.

We had the festive lunch on New Year’s Day and it was excellent value. Friendly staff and nice decor.

Greeted by a lovely member staff holding door open for us. The food was tasty and portions was alot. Def would be back and recommend to others. Bbq burger was lush....

The Christmas menu was really good, haven't had such a good chicken stack in a while, it was great with the roasted carrots and parsnips.

Very nice place to eat in. The food was absolutely brilliant. The staff are very welcoming. The music is at a sensible level, you can hear each other without having to shout at 1 another.

Absolutely fantastic. In town for work and looking for a nice place to have a pint and a decent meal. After 5 on a Tuesday so wasn't expecting to find much of course. Found this one though. Meal was perfect, washed down with a few pints and very well priced. Staff were lovely. Very highly recommend! Looking for a sit down meal after 5 on a Tuesday? This is your place!

Naomh was the most friendly person, her and another girl Jodie made sure I had everything I needed. All drinks and food came out perfect and they are the most nicest staff!
