Wonderful urban park with a lake and plenty of waterfowl around including swans and ducks; squirrels also roam in the forest nearby. Lovely place for jogging and walking dogs. There is a nice big playpark with some unusual items which kids will love.

Largest park outside of Dublin. Beautiful tree lined avenue, lake, walks & playground. Lurgan is very fortunate.

One of the best Town parks in Uk. Great walks around the lake and Lurgan Main Street a stones throw away. The park looks so different through the four seasons. Play Park for the kids. Plenty of Geese and Swans to feed and a Coffee Trailer on the grounds.

🍂LURGAN PARK🍂 🌳Lurgan Park is NI’s largest park and what a beautiful park it is. With landscaped walkways, a super play park, the grand Brownlow house, a gorgeous lake and a stunning historic oak tree lined avenue. 🥾With various walks ranging from a full lap of the park and lake at 2 miles or a dander round the woodland area at just over half a mile. 🛝A fabulous play park is here catering to all ages and abilities. From roundabouts to swings and tall climbing towers. ⛲️You can also find a historic water fountain, tennis courts, bowling green, cricket and football pitches. ☕️You can find the @thequirkybirdtearooms here grab a coffe or a sweet treat. ℹ️ The opening times of the Park varies throughout the year from 7am till sunset. (Check @getactiveabc for times.) Plenty of seating dotted around the park, toilets available onsite and free parking.

As far as parks go Lurgan Park is among the United Kingdom's higher echelon. It really is rather special, certainly the best in Northern Ireland in my opinion and it's particularly well maintained too. Fantastic for families with young children, as aside from the picturesque setting, there is a children's playground. There's also a lake that is home to numerous wild birds including swans, geese and ducks. Squirrels can be spotted going about their business in and around the trees. Park is welcoming for those with dogs. Lovely place for a jog or just a leisurely walk. Easy to find as it's so close to Lurgan main Street.

Beautiful, well kept park. I go very early in the morning and the views are breathtaking. Even though there are quite a few people and their pets about, it's so big that you feel as if you are on your own No dog poo in sight which is a big relief.

Beautifully maintained park in Lurgan. It's the second largest urban park on the island of Ireland, after Phoenix Park. It's possible to do a 2 mile circular walk around the lake and parkland. There's a bowling green, play area and toilet facilities.

Lovely and clean place for a walk in peace. You can take a longer walk around the lake or just wee paths around the park.

Lovely park with great scenery! Lake very peaceful on a calm day! Great walk, not too long but not too short. Haven for wildlife, you can see squirrels and a variety of birds! Very fun and suitable paths for dogs.

Lovely place for a walk, lovely cherry trees scattered throughout. Think there's a cricket pitch/field in the middle. Playpark is fresh, not old and run down. Even seen workmen fixing fence when I visited. Plenty of space to kick a ball, paths good enough for buggies or younger kids bikes

Absolutely fantastic park. Well kept and great facilities. Beautiful lake with lots of bird life Swans, ducks etc.. not to mention the squirrels and lots of them. A great park for dog walker's and kids as it is a very safe environment. We try to get here as much as we can. It's the second biggest park in Ireland, you really do have to visit.

Very fun place. The walk to the playground was excellent with all the birds and swans and lake. The playground facilities were very entertaining. I'd suggest more for kids aged 5 and over to enjoy as it was too challenging for my 3yo but looked super fun to play on
