Great place for walking or running. The Peatland park is located just off the M1 at junction 13. There's a visitor centre, good carpark, miniature train, children's play area, toilets, two nature reserves, a bog garden, ponds and a lake. There are 5 colour coded walks ranging from 1 to 5 miles. The red trail is 5 miles and takes you around the whole park. The play area, visitor centre, train and picnic area are handily close to the carpark. Good to visit any time of the year, but would be best in the summertime.

Nice long walks, several trails of which the longest trail is upwards of 5 miles. All well marked. Word of Warning don't do as I did and go in near to dark and underestimate the length of your trail. I just made it back before dark, so be mindful. Despite being so close to the M1 it really is a place of solitude. There is even a mini train, but have not seen it, only tracks, so not sure if it still runs. There is also a fun playpark for kids, so this is an ideal dayout for families. There are well maintained toilet facilities.

Gorgeous big park ideal for a short or long walk & bringing the dog! 🌳🐶Coffee van is a lovely touch too.☕️ Lots of bins around the entrance but not on the walking routes so much so bear that in mind.🗑️ Good toilet facilities.🚻 Lots of picnic benches which would be great for a picnic or bbq in the nicer weather. 🍔🧺Already can’t wait to go back here after our first visit today. 😃

Lovely walks around the park with the longest being 5 miles. Allegedly it should take 1.5 hrs to do the 5 miles. Lies, pure lies lol! There’s plenty of parking and toilets at the visitors centre which were open even though the visitors centre was closed on Easter Sunday. Great play park for the kids too. Walks are not really suitable for the less abled bodied due to a mix of track - tarmac, boardwalk, stony uneven parts and wood chipping. There’s a train that takes you around the park that you need tickets for - unsure of the price. Some of the signage needs refreshed and cleaned - hard to read some signage and the red markers aren’t so red now. There’s a few seats along the earlier parts of the walks but few later on when you probably need it. Also, it would be helpful if there was a some indication on the long route of how far you’ve got to go as a motivator. The car park looks like it has security cameras up which is really helpful.

Beautiful spot to walk and take kids , large park kids loved it , lots of walks , wee train doesn't seem to be in action sadly , and there is areas that are neglected. Worth a visit .

Really nice place for a walk. Plenty of room to explore and run around. Anyone interested in nature or the outdoors would enjoy it. Kids loved the ducks and watching dragonflies, butterflies and caterpillars. Just a pity the train wasn't running. Lovely, sunny, hot day in the middle of summer holidays with plenty of families about, missing a trick. Also the main toilets were out of order due to "technical difficulties" but they have a couple of portaloos and accessible toilet was open.

Peatlands Park is a captivating sanctuary, offering a unique escape into nature. The lush peatland landscape is mesmerizing, and the well-maintained paths invite exploration. Wildlife sightings are delightful, especially the diverse bird species. The raised boardwalks provide an educational and magical experience. The facilities are great, with clean restrooms and convenient picnic areas. I have to me too that some of the signs are a bit mossy and hard to read. A must-visit for nature enthusiasts seeking a refreshing escape. Can't wait to return!

Nice park ... Sadly let down by the lack of location markers - Go off the beaten track in this place and God knows where you might end up! .... I can find my way around Lough Erne easier than I can around Peatlands .... This 'Problem' could so easily be resolved with NUMBERS - on trees/benches etc. - then sync said numbers with a number KEY on a NEW Peatlands MAP .... Will such ever happen? ... Don't think so! ... much too obvious and officialdom rarely do 'obvious' !

There are super walks that offer delightful nature hunts. We competed in numerous bog snorkeling events which were exhausting but very memorable. A lovely location for relaxing picnics and nature hunts too. Very worth a visit. Leave the dogs at home unless you keep them under control though please. If bringing then tidy up after them. Better still leave them at home so others don't have to try to control your dog. And yes I have two dogs but don't force them on others.

Great outdoor bogland trails, we visit regularly and always end up on different walks every time. . Park facilities are excellent.. maybe a couple more benches closer to the park. Has several pucnic tables close to carpark, which is handy for pucnic or small bbq.

Great selection of walks. Generally well made trails or board walks through boggy ground. No hills.

A free park that protects some of our precious natural environment. Suitable for all ages. Loads of trails. Larger ones probably not suitable for prams in parts. Lots of benches for a picnic.

Lovely peaceful area and dogs are welcome, but the boarded walk is not suitable for a dog smaller than 6kg or their paws start to slip between the boards. There is also loose wood clippings on the bog walk which is not suitable for dogs. Otherwise, a lovely walk with educational signs! Very easy to find from the motorway. Free car parking too, bathrooms and a shop to buy coffee etc

Amazing place, with amazing wildlife and natural habitats. It's easy to get lost in Peatlands, which can be a very positive experience!

It’s many years since we last visited Peatlands Park but we certainly weren’t disappointed. A great place for a stop off and a lovely walk across the bog land. Definitely recommend it.

We regularly walk around Peatlands Park and it offers a good variety of different length walks. There is a mixture of walking surfaces too, eg, tarmac, boardwalk and bark. Therefore some routes are unsuitable for those with limited mobility. The boardwalks are well maintained and have been upgraded over the last couple of years. There are plenty of free car parking spaces but the car park can be busy on weekends and during school holidays. Littering and dog fouling is rare even though there are very few bins. There are plenty of birds and wildfowl to be seen, for example, mallards, robins, goldcrests and bullfinches. The staff maintain the park well. The childrens' playpark has been upgraded too. I would recommend this as a place to visit if you like to walk.

Stopped here by chance and absolutely loved it. Gorgeous bogland and mixed forests. Excellent children's playground. Decent loos. No teashop which is fair it was a very quiet spot. The bog garden was a particular highlight the board walks allows you to see all the detail of the bog even after heavy rain, which would normally be inaccessible. Great signs explaining the habitat including the carnivorous plants. Hidden gem highly recommend.

Fantastic park. Well maintained and accessible for wheelchairs. Beautiful scenic walks, a good children’s play area and plenty of picnic areas.

On Sunday , my family and I went to Peatlands Park. The weather was lovely, the walk was terrific. We took a picnic which we ate at one of the many picnic tables, one in the beautiful orchard. There are a few different walks to take, it was not crowded so it was possible to chat and watch the grandkids. The facilities here are very good the toilets are clean and well maintained. The play park is lovely a big effort has been made to make it appealing for kids and sympathetic to the landscape with carvings and cut outs. Great day out

Adventure Ridge Park is a thrill-seeker's paradise! The zip lines and obstacle courses provide an adrenaline rush, and the hiking trails offer breathtaking views. It's a great spot for a family day out, but be prepared for a bit of a workout. Safety measures are top-notch, which is reassuring.
