Mains were good however very disappointing dessert. I wanted to buy a dessert to take home and I was given it in a cup(?!). I thought it was a joke but two waiters told me it was fine and just what they do. At £7.50 I feel robbed!

Very good restaurant to eat in. The starter deep fried brie was lovely, main spinach ravioli white wine sauce was absolutely amazing full of flavour and pleasing too eat, desert was sticky toffee pudding wasnt great but still OK. Emma and irena were very well mannered and pleasant waiters as were the rest of the staff. Would highly recommend.

Food was lovely. Absolutely packed on Frinight but the host kindly let us sit at the bar... turned out to be a high table near the bar and it was just perfect. Kids entertained with colouring sheets and plenty of food to choose from. Staff never stopped all night. The desserts were beautiful... esp the lemon and pistachio sponge cake (greendale in the pics!!)

A nice mediterranean restaurant in Portodown - probably one of the best eating places in the area. Ordered cripsy chicken wings, burger and spaghetti bolognaise which were great. Advanced booking is recommended.

Lovely Place, lovely people, food Is probably the best italian food within 50 or more Miles. Very elegant restaurant and full of gentle people. One and a half year i live in Northern Ireland so many restaurant i went this Is definitely the best One.

Wow, just wow. Someone at a local charity shop recommended this restaurant to us and I can’t thank them enough. We had an amazing Italian meal, lovely Greek salad and an amazing amaretto tiramisu for dessert. The service matched the quality of the food and would recommend anyone in the area to take in this gastronomic extravaganza. Worth every penny!!

Food was amazing but the service was awful! Took half n hour 2 take out starter plates then had to wait good bit for main then had to ask where our desert was which took 45 minutes to come! Asked for bill and didn't he didn't even answer me after waiting another 5 -10 minutes when to bar to pay where woman asked how it was I told her food what great but the waiting was ridiculous.. she didn't care and just asked for payment ! 🙄 don't go if u have to be somewhere within 3 hours ....👎👎

Went for a family dinner and was very pleased with the experience. I'm a food snob living in Dublin, and I'm often unimpressed with mid Ulster restaurants that usually provide quantity over quality, to keep the pig farmers happy. The food was top nosh and good value for money. I had belly of pork cooked perfectly. My sisters had pasta and the wine was very good.

Great menu selection and all very reasonable priced given the size! Desserts were all gorgeous but possibly a little sickly just due to the size, couldn’t finish them. The staff were very attentive and friendly, despite how busy it was for a mid week evening. Even though they still use dividers, from covid times? the place has a great atmosphere and if anything they still allow privacy to chat with your own party even when sitting right next to another!

Very good food decent service

Came out to celebrate a work success with my wife. She had the salmon and I had the roast cod. The food was divine and exquisite. A real 5 star experience. Totally recommend. You will not be disappointed

I never normally go out of my way to leave reviews but after my visit to Zios I absolutely had to. My friend and I went for Christmas lunch and both ordered the Zio turkey and ham, it was absolutely gorgeous! Hands down one of the best turkey dinners I've had 🥰 Such friendly staff too! Will definitely be back again. ⛄🎄 Thank you Zio!

Great meal last night. Sirloin cooked perfectly as ordered, which doesn't always happen elsewhere, and the rest of the party were equally pleased with their choices. Good, attentive and discreet service. Don't know about you, but if the server asks if everything is OK every 5 minutes, I get nervous! Finally, there was a great vibe. The place was full of happy diners, clearly all having as good a time as I was.

I visited zios along with good friends for an evening get together and really enjoyed my experience. My meal was really enjoyable, I had an amazing king prawn starter and pork belly as my main course, I ordered garlic fries along with the pork and honestly for me it wasn't needed, the pork belly along with its side dressings was quite enough and in fact was one of the best meals iv experienced. The service was good and the staff very pleasant , the beer was cold and just how it should be, yummy. Thank you for a great evening.

Absolutely gorgeous. Surprised my friend tonight ,for her Birthday. I rang to see if we could be added to their Party. Food ,service and Atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. I was on holiday visiting family. I'd been once before last year. My favourite meal was no longer on the menu. I had cheese herb crusted salmon in a hollandaise sauce with champ & broccoli this time. Was the best meal I've eaten for a long time. Hope it's still on the menu whenever I'm back visiting. Staff were lovely.

Very friendly staff, good service and the food was delicious. I had meatballs starter and my wife had the cheese with apple chutney, I had spicy Italian sausage pasta absolutely fantastic. My wife had chicken and bacon with pasta. We had a dessert between us. The whole meal was excellent and reasonably priced.

Staff were very professional, friendly and efficient. They were very accommodating to myself with baby and pram. Breastfeeding friendly keeping my meal warm while I fed my baby and moved me to a larger more comfortable table for sitting and feeding. Food was delicious with good selection on the menu

We visited Portadown on a Tuesday afternoon and half the shops on the town appeared to be closed. Difficult to locate a restaurant that was actually open. However, Zio was buzzing with customers. Good selection of Mediterranean food and pizzas on offer. Good service. Nice food. Reasonably priced. Booking recommended.

Excellent evening at Zio's. We hadn't booked but they managed to get us in ( table for2) - you have to book and I'm not surprised why. Everything is great - the service, very friendly staff, the atmosphere and the food and drink is so good. Generous portion sizes , so much so I had to take some of my pasta dish home! Would definitely recommend and look forward to going back when I'm next in Portadown.
