Got food this evening for the wife's birthday. Ordered food to be picked up and it was ready in good time despite it being a Saturday teatime. To say the food was poor would be a huge understatement, it was beyond atrocious, genuinely uneatable. Four meals were bought in total, 3 Chinese, and 1 European. All the food had an awful aftertaste like the oil had not been changed. The food was uneaten and only fit for the brown bin. Tried to ring but could not get through. The Bamboo reception looks very clean but does not have the best food standard rating. I believe it's 3 out of 5. Front of house staff were pleasant when ordering and picking up.

So here's a tip. Bamboo opens at 4pm. I go in person to place my order just after 4. Waiting time is short and attention is given to getting the order completed. Bring it home and place in a warm over until you are ready to eat. It's busy because it's good.

Usually use this takeaway for Chinese as the food is generally good and they have decent portion sizes. Ordered kung po chicken this evening and it was possibly the most vile dish ever tasted. Stringy, jelly like tiny bits of chicken, frozen veg have clearly been used and the sauce tasted nothing like the spicy garlic flavour advertised and was like runny jelly. The prices on their only online menu (Facebook) are incorrect with mains being £3 more expensive than the menu shows. Hopefully this was a one off but it was a waste of almost £15 for one dish.

Food wasn't good at all. Been a while since I've had outta here but definitely not as good as it used to be

The staff are friendly and do a good job. But unfortunately the food wasn't good you can actually taste the grease.

Best Chinese in the area especially their chow mein and prawn satay

Tasty food. The only problem is that we can't pay with card only cash.

Food was ok told ten minutes on the phone waited 20 minutes when I arrived i never understand this doubt I would be back

Just at the take away. Good noodles. Good size portion . Over all perfectly good.

Got 5 meals last night and I have to say...it was the worst Chinese food I have had EVER! £42:30 for grim food..

Not used this Chinese in a while, used to be really good. My order had to be explained 3 times. The sauce tasted nothing like oyster sauce, which is normally sweet. This sauce was very strongly flavoured with salt & a little hot. Has went down hill since my last visit over 6 months ago. Unfortunately will not return.

Food was tasty but I waited nearly an hour for my food which was frustrating. Never experienced anything like it before as normally they're quite quick. I'll be back at some stage but not anytime soon if the waiting time is that length!

Today I ordered 3 sups on my way back home from work. Had to wait 58 minutes for 3 sups. So you can imagine how much I had to control my emotions. The girl at reception was very bored and honestly she looks like she was forced to do this job. I have had some complaints before about the service, but today was far too much. The food was always good, but service at reception desk and waiting time. No thank you, next time I will drive somewhere else.

The delivery was on time. Delicious meals, very, very hot and we ate with taste. We will definitely order again. Very nice service.

Telephoned at 6pm to collect at 6.30pm and was assured it would be ready. Wasn't ready. Customer walk ins ordered and received food before me. At 6.45pm I asked where food was, received it at 6.50pm. This is not the first time this has happened, we've had to wait up to 45mins for an order we telephoned in. Couldn't eat my food I was so annoyed and told them I'd never go back. Avoid this place, they prove themselves to be totally unreliable again and again.

Nice enough food here but they got part of my order wrong even thou they were asked to confirm the order twice on the phone. Disappointing.

Was told delivery of 30-45 mins call me an hour and a half later to see if i still wanted order… duh yea i would love my order landed to the house 2 hours later and wanted full payment with no sorry no excuse nothing… joke of a company and dont care for customers or service… was a regular customer but not after tonight 👍🏼
