Absolutely terrible, spent £199 on sub par food, steak was £24 each, cut at a slant. Thin side was dry and thick side was gristle and fat, cheap sirloin at crazy prices. Pesto on everything, burgers cost £28 for 2 that the kids couldnt eat. Same cheap generic taste as the steaks. No seasoning on anything, potatoes were bland and watery. Desserts were shop bought. Pavlova was like jarred mallow, chocolate brownie was micro heated and the texture of boiled suet pudding. Absolutely terrible food charged at extortionate prices. Waitress' were lovely but definitely wouldnt be back. Not worth it.

The Sunday roast was excellent. The drinks were great. And best of all the manger and his wife and the bar staff are the friendliest and give a warm welcome to everyone. Be sure to go to this pub you will not have a better experience.

This is my local and not being prejudiced when I say this, but it's also my favourite. The food is stupendous with a great menu, and the drink is widely varied with plenty of brands to choose from. There is a bar with live music on a Saturday and Sunday, from bands to Irish traditional or bluegrass where the craic is great. There is a lounge where it is great for food and a room for events, like christenings and gigs etc. It has had the likes of Damien Dempsey, Aslan and Paddy Casey here. A new addition is - the Garden, which is great for the good weather to sit out in and have a bite to eat, or have a beer or a coffee if driving. The building is full of character and a real addition to the area. Definitely 5/5.

Overpriced, overcooked pub grub. The place was empty and waited half an hour for 2 burgers. Kids served juice in 2 cracked glasses. £20 for a burger and a handful of chips. AVOID!!!

We had a lovely, festive evening in the Corner House Bar. Friendly, fun, efficient staff. Delicious food and great menu. The decor is just amazing, unique beer garden, private pods, private spaces to rent throughout. Warm, cosy and welcoming, hands down best night out in years. Place this country pub in a major city and you would be on a very long waiting list to get in. Pod had heating, WiFi speaker for us to play our own tunes and ordering from drinks app was really handy. Highly recommend. One of the best pubs in the country.

Overpriced for what you get. Won't go back. Do not recommend. Extremely salty chips, almost inedible. Complained to waitress and was asked if I'd like to speak to "Trevor" - like I know who that is - so complaints were ignored. Burger meat was burnt and dry, curry is school cafeteria quality, and service was slow considering how empty the place was. Steak was passable, but drier than you'd expect. Peppercorn sauce was ok, but tasted slightly worse than the powder sachets you can get in Tesco for £1. Approx. £185 for 5 adults and 1 child.

Lovely food and service, a little pricey but in today's financial climate, can you blame them👍

Staff were slow taking orders, got seated then waited 10 minutes for a drink order to be told we where forgotten about by same waitress that brought us to our table, then we got our food order, waitress was abit ignorant when asked for kids meal because not everyone can eat a big portion of food so took the adult portion, extra veg was substituted for roast potato had asked for broccoli an received no broccoli, food was drenched in gravy. Have the gravy as a side for the customer to choose the amount they wish to put on their food they paid for. The food portions are small especially for the price being paid the quality was not great either, the roast beef was dry an cold, got like 2 tea spoons amount of veg an that is not an exaggeration, one portion of veg was 2 tiny slices of carrot, 2 cut up bits of parsnip an 2 green beans that was double on the substitute order that is a small quantity, let alone the kids portions were very similar to an adult portion if not the same or slightly more as an adults is twice the price. Then went to pay for the bill at end and the owner was doing something by the register an instead of asking us as we were directly in front of him he walked away down the bar to another customer to take there bill. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone an will not be advising any family or friends to spend money here either, I will not be back. Overpriced, poor quality food, poor service.

We could easily have spent the afternoon there, the atmosphere was so welcoming, as was the nice warm fire 🔥 A mulled wine would have made it complete, alas I had to drive

First time there, but definitely not the last. Outstanding service, food quality. Was worth every penny spent. Not cheap, but I don't mind to pay money for quality meals.

Great place for meeting friends, for food and drink. Outdoor area brilliant with pods available for chillier evenings. Food was quick and tasty. Staff (despite being overworked) were great.

Visited The Corner House Pub on Saturday 4th Feb, and what a great experience. 4 of us booked a table to watch a 6 Nations rugby match together and enjoy some food and drinks. Amazing welcome and superb seating set up, we were served promptly and with a warm smile throughout from every team member that served us, brilliant stuff indeed. We can thoroughly recommend this place, wonderful food, especially the chicken wings, great beer, food and service right the way through it all. Go visit.. you can then experience all this for yourself.. we will be going back soon - for sure ! 😀

Sorry only getting time now to write a review... If you want to celebrate a joyous occasion I would highly recommend this place. Our family and friends and kids had a great evening which was made special thanks to the chefs and lovely staff. The food was super. The staff were eager to please. Friendly and helpful and just had that special way with every1. The outside beer garden was the best equipped area I have seen. Dog friendly, play area, private booths and fantastic glass pods for small private gatherings. The management had obviously spent a lot of effort designing it. I will be back there soon I'm sure. Go try it out yourself and enjoy. Thanks to every1 who made it special for us and for finding my birthday bracelet. 😁

Visited the Corner House a few weeks ago. The owners have done an absolute amazing job with this pub & restaurant. Haven’t seen anything like this before in Ireland it is a true credit to them. The beer garden is super quirky with a play area for kids too & there are these cool pods you can use for groups. There was a trad session in the bar that night which everyone got involved and what a great end to the night. Can’t wait to visit again 5/5
