First, the staff were fantastic very informative and interactive with the kids... we (1 adult, 3 kids) went to the brickosaurus, it was good, it wasn't a huge exhibition but the display was excellent. The tickets we had only covered the exhibition (@£15)which we got through very quickly. On hindsight we should have booked the dinosaur dome show but that would have been an extra £28 which I though was quite expensive for a 30-45 minute show. We also visited the cafe and shop, both staff were excellent and quite reasonable. Overall we had a great experience.

Fun and educational day out for all the family. The 180° dome show was brilliant and the exhibition had lots of interesting and interactive elements. The staff were lovely, specially the curly haired lady at reception and the cafe, nicest coffee ever!

My boyfriend and I booked the “Look Up: Winter Night Sky Tour” for something different to do during our Christmas holidays. It was very reasonably priced and so interesting. As someone who knew very little about astronomy I learned loads. We took a wander around the exhibitions and grounds after which was fun too. Great day out for big kids as well as little kids!

Loved the experience and the location. Great and friendly staff, with loads of knowledge about our sky. Included in the planetarium you will be shown Armagh sky of the day of your visit, which I found incredibly interesting.

A brilliant place to visit, we went for the mission to santa experience, which was fantastic, and we got to tour the place afterwards and make and launch our own rockets. Would highly recommend it for kids of all ages. The staff are so helpful and friendly too.

Went today for the live science show, my daughter loved it and the astro Park. Brilliant experience for keen minds young and old. Myself and daughter visited the planetarium again today (30/7/22) to catch the first astronaut George dome show and I would just like to mention my appreciation for the gentlemen that was hosting it, he showed great enthusiasm and was very encouraging. Thank you oh and the lego dinosaur exhibit was brilliant!

Having not been to the observatory since I was in my teens I wish I had gone more. I took my children to see a dome show and it took me back. I will be taking the kids more often to this much understated wonderful place. Staff and activities were great.

Fantastic! We went to see Astronaut George dome show today with our nearly 3 year old. She thoroughly enjoyed it, the sensory room and rocket making/launching. Took a walk up to the observatory afterwards. Not our first time and def wont be our last 🥰

A great place for kids to learn about space exploration and astronomy. The dome shows are both entertaining and educational, presented by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lots of hands-on stuff for kids to have fun with in the exhibition area, including a mini play area for toddlers. Biggee kids will love the rocket-building workshops too (but be prepared to get wet during the process!). The only slight disappointment is the AOP (augmented reality) items in the outdoor display area, which I find quite difficult to operate. Overall a highly enjoyable experience and definitely recommended.

We have dunsink observatory on our doorstep and came up to here for a change of celestial viewings. We loved the exhibition centre lots of wonderful display pictures models interactive screens. Sensory room also was fun and the other room with space and environment. We forgot to go to the build a rocket room but should also mention the room. We viewed our solar system in the dome and it was brilliant show I read some other reviews complaining about their necks 😆 we sat in the middle row and no one from 6 to 80 had issue as the seats are comfy and reclined to an angle for viewing that's how you watch the dome show the main features are in front of your eyes all the time if your rubber necking your missing the main viewing FYI Staff were brilliant and friendly I'd also like to say I was impressed with our show guide especially when she spoke of hopefully some type of life on some of the planets whether it was a flower a fish etc cause I believe there's life beyond otherwise its a waste of space. We had a lovely stroll around the grounds on a frosty day and loved it. I'd recommend to all ages to come visit it gets minds buzzing and open thinking and could inspire the next galileo astronaut astro physicists etc. Great space themed giftshop also at the entrance. We will defo be back again thank you for a lovely few hour's to imagine possibilities beyond.

It’s a well maintained place that’s very clear. The staff are 100% dedicated to their job. It’s absolutely spotless except for the toilets on the occasion I went. The seats of the star gazing dome are WAY to close to the front and I found myself with a very sore neck and back. Unfortunately the star gazing event wasn’t good in anyway for the world we live in today as a £10 pair of VR googles and smart phone will deliver a much more interactive experience in the privacy of your own home. I found the graphics to be similar to that of a 2004 PowerPoint presentation in the stargazing event. This is obviously a huge disappointment as I drive 1 hour to be here but I understand this is due to a lack of government funding. I definitely thought improvements would have been made since being here 12 years ago… but unfortunately not It’s a very small place and not a lot I couldn’t believe I walked around and looked at everything in under 10 minutes. I hope they get funding and a much better projection system and animation's. I know the people of Armagh are very proud of this place and it would be a shame to see foot traffic fall because it’s so behind in technology

The presentation was executed proficiently; nonetheless, the interior demands an urgent upgrade. The screen projection occasionally appeared blurry and out of focus. The seats ought to swivel and provide the option to recline further, as my neck aches from constant head turning. For those attending the show, I recommend sitting at the back. With a substantial update, this venue could transform into something fantastic. Picture watching "Interstellar" here! Regrettably, I won't revisit until the venue undergoes refurbishment.

Very pleasant lady greeted us at reception. Nice exhibition with plenty of interpretation throughout. Planetarium was fun. Only minor criticism is the immersive show offered today is probably more suited to a very young audience. Overall, a great place to visit, especially on a dreich afternoon. 😃

Great experience with kids. We took there two boys of my friend and they just loved it. On Sunday they have wee program at 3pm called Little astronaut it is kids movie about space. They adored it. Afterwards you can go an explore kids section where kids can put on space uniform. Or there is screen where you can create your own black hole. Also there is craft room where you can craft rocket 🚀 and launched it outside under supervision of the staff. Very interesting and entertaining for a kids. Only thing they close at 5 so would recommended to come earlier to spend more time in as we felt like we can do more stuff but had no time.
