We've
been
going
to
this
shop
for
year's
mainly
to
have
new
batteries
put
in
our
watches
and
the
staff
have
always
been
polite
which
is
why
we
have
always
gone
back
even
though
we
could
have
gone
to
other
jeweller's
nearer
where
we
live.
Me
and
the
wife
called
into
the
shop
Wednesday
afternoon
as
my
signet
ring
needed
a
stone
putting
in
as
one
had
fallen
out
when
I'd
dropped
the
ring.
On
entering
the
shop
we
were
greeted
in
the
usual
polite
way
and
asked
if
they
could
look
at
my
ring
for
me
to
price
up
for
a
new
stone
putting
in.
I
don't
know
his
name
but
he
wears
glasses
and
works
in
the
back
room.
He
took
my
signet
ring
them
came
out
and
I
asked
him
how
much
a
stone
would
cost.
He
wasn't
particularly
keen
on
doing
the
work
and
said
he
would
prefer
not
to.
He
gave
me
his
eye
piece
and
said
look
at
the
ring
which
I
did
but
I'm
no
jewelry
expert.
Ring
would
need
a
stone,
cleaning
up
and
resizing
which
is
ok.
Ring
I've
had
year's
and
sentimental
value
so
will
pay
to
get
it
done
but
he
preferred
not
to
do
it
and
then
said
look
at
the
ring,
he
said
look
at
it
as
his
voice
and
tone
raised.
I
may
not
have
looked
after
the
ring
but
the
fella
spoke
to
us
in
a
totally
unprofessional
manner,
raising
his
voice
when
other
customers
were
in
the
shop.
At
this
point
we
said
we
would
think
about
it
as
an
excuse
to
exit
the
shop.I
will
get
the
ring
repaired
but
at
a
jeweller
who
wants
my
custom.
It
would
have
been
different
I'm
sure
if
we
were
buying
a
new
ring.
There
was
no
excuse
for
his
bad
manners
and
we
won't
ever
return.
