Value for money hotel. Hot water, breakfast, TV, 1 km from centre, 3 km from railway station, 7 km from airport. Nothing special in this hotel, my staying here was great. Like everything, clean, old fashioned. Reception 24/7. Excellent breakfast, great coffee. Recommend

This is NOT a 4 star hotel. A four star hotel would not have the following (which Bavaria Hotel Craiova does): -A shower that will not drain, you stand in your own dirty water. -Breakfast that will not start at the same time everyday, nor when the front desk says it will start -Blasting club music during breakfast -Serving yourself your own drinks -Air Conditioning that is shut off everyday when it is over 90 degrees F -Air Conditioning that blows softer than you can fan yourself -Actual parking spaces. No, this hotel does not have ample parking, unless you are the first three people here. Otherwise you must park in the street.

The time when this hotel was great has passed some time ago. The hotel was almost empty and very little staff was available. There was nobody speaking in English at time of our arrival, but they tried to support us. Unfortunately there is no parking at the hotel - only few places at the street in front of the building. The other guest ensured us he is visiting the place for many years and never any issues happened with car at the street. Although the staff was trying to please us but the breakfast was quite modest. But he price wasn't high at all. We hope when pandemia will be finished the owners of the hotel will find founds to make the hotel again great.

We took 3 persons room, 2nd floor, lift, big, clean, climate control, refrigerator good beds, clean and big bathroom with everything you need. Breakfast good service good. Very good value for cheap price

It is good hotel good for the price the staff is so good especially the receptionists the rooms are average.

The staff at this hotel were warm and helpful. The hotel is close to downtown Craiova and within walking distance of the pedestrian areas. We sampled their delicious salads in their tree covered terrace at the rear of the hotel. And the primary delight was their Air Conditioning as we are staying in the middle of a heatwave, 36 degrees outside, 20 degrees inside. 😊👅

I do not know how this place got 4 stars. The food is expensive and horrible ( margerine anyone on the potatoes?), the room is not clean, air conditioning units are filthy, bathroom with leaks everywhere and dubious faces hanging in the restaurant and shouting orders. Breakfast eggs smell like something rotten, parking space almost non-existent.

It's okay. More like 3 stars rather then 4. The rooms are decent but the bathroom was below average at best - broken appliances, shower doors, etc.

I regret staying here. Was fooled by the pictures. Probably they had a good photographer at that time. Rooms don't look nowhere near. Silly staff as well.

Well price rooms. Cheaper than other hotels in the city due to the location not having any groceries or restaurants/cafes nearby so make sure to bring something with you if you're not into hotel restaurants.
