A small well-kept park (square) where you can sit in silence or to meet someone for a little walk. There is a lot of greenery and a fountain in the shape of a cross. I enjoyed walking there.

Frumos, romantic. Un părculeț micuț in inima orașului. English Park in Craiova, a real oasis in the city center was set up in the interwar period. It was part of a project in that was built also the White House, the first block of flats of Craiova. English Park is an English style garden, the work of architect Constantin Iotzu.

Although a small park, the English park is just the perfect place to rest, meet with friends ,and take a short walk. The park has many benches and a beautiful fountain. The park isn't far from the town centre.

The English Park is a small yet beautiful garden in Craiova, located right in front of the City Hall. It can serve as a relaxing place right in the city centre while being visually plesant at the same time.

It was pretty, a nice place to cap off a good formal first date late in the evening. There were other people there, obviously, but they never felt intrusive, or crowded. Only reason for 4 starts is that the benches could use some love.

Tiny park in the centre of the city, pretty quiet and safe, most of the time. It can be busy at times, though, due to its size and location.

It's a very well arranged park right in the heart of Craiova, which offers both a fresh breath of air and stunning scenery. The "English" style really adds up to the whole city center decorum.

Small, but very clean and with plenty of shaded areas to sit. Lots of stores nearby and food.

I enjoyed my visit to this classical english style park. It was a lovely, if brief, visit filled with looking at a beautiful fountain and excellently maintained flower beds though. Great for a rest break, but not really anything else due to its rather small size.

Clean, lots of benches to rest, the toilets nearby are also clean

Together with Romanescu park are in top of the list of my favorites places in Craiova. In the middle of the town a place of relaxe in a summer day.
