We didn't actually stay there. We called him and said he didn't speak English but could speak Spanish. This may have been an overstatement since he just spoke Italian with Spanish words. I asked him if it would be OK to bring our little dog and said yes, that is no problem. Then we got there we set ourselves in the room (and it was just fine, not much for what you pay). After 10 minutes the guy comes knock at the door asking for the money, but sees the dog and says not OK. After some taking and big confusion he says we have to leave but pay him. We didn't pay him and we left.

They tried to rip us off. We booked everything in advanced but that night they called us and said that there was no space for us to stay and that we needed to go to another hotel they provided and pay double. So we said no, and ended up at 00 h in the night in a foreign country looking for another place to stay.

Clean, there is a shed to lock your bicycle and they give you the key you get a single room with en suite bathroom. I planned to stay 4 days but I was kicked out on the 3rd day because it was over booked.luckily I found another place to stay but Alfredo had arranged for one of his friends to put me up anyway, (6km out of town though, so I declined) WiFi is a bit unreliable on the top floor. There's a nice shady courtyard for chilling out. The rooms are small. One of the cleaners has the most emaculately plucked eyebrows I have ever seen on a man.

Nice place, clean,quiet and cheap. But it's not possible to pay your stay by card. Cook's dishes are delicious.

If I just said Alfredo's Hostel has a great value for the money you pay I would not be saying too much so let's add that the rooms you are going to find are much better of what you could expect for this prize. I will soon repeat for sure.

Marcella was very friendly. The room was great: We had an own bathroom with a shower. Everything seemed to be new and was very clean. There is a busstop to the train station 4 minutes away. Thank you 😊

Owfulll. Disaster. Room is in basemant. Owner has enter 50 times in basemant. Make terrible niose. No way to sleep for three hours. Ask him for some silents, not want to listen and do the same job. do not get this room ever.

Lovely place in the historical district of Craiova. A bit difficult to find, unfortunately.
