We arrived in the area by chance and thought it very interesting to visit the house where the great actor Amza Pellea was born and trained for life. We enter Bailesti and a sign fills our soul with joy. At home at Amza Pellea, that's what he wrote. Even though it was raining outside, we headed towards the indicated address with great enthusiasm. From the Internet we had the information that we were during the visiting program. We stop in front of the house and approach. Happiness increases when we see a man in the yard. It's open, we think and press the door handle. Then came waves of grief. We were received coldly with a "Not open" and the gate closed in front of us. Disappointed, we wanted to take a picture in front of the house ignoring the rain. The gentleman in question, seeing this, returned to better feelings and still opened the gate allowing us to visit the house inside. We were disappointed and in my mind only echoes: Shame on those who are in the right and should keep alive the memory of the great Nea Marin, shame on the authorities who turn their backs on a great value of Romanian theater and film.

For a great artist like Amza Pellea always 5 stars, too bad I couldn't visit her.

Shame on those responsible! To beat hundreds of kilometers for the great Amza and not to have some rascals open your gate... With a great bitter taste I left there and somewhat hoarsely after shouting various names at two houses indicated by the neighbors, where the who should open the museum to visitors... From the reviews, I realized that I am not an isolated case, on the contrary! In addition to the bitter taste already mentioned, I was also left with a concern: is Oana Pellea reading these reviews, is she aware of this gross disrespect to her father's memory?

It's just a construction site, the house is under renovation. I would have liked to know that too before I hit the road there :)

It is permanently closed. Unfortunately, Mr. Lazar (as if he was called) The one who opened for us died about two years ago.

Nonsense. They recently renovated the house like "Ion Creangă" beautifully 🙄

(Translated by Google) These stars are for weird schedule that is from 8-12 and 16-20. Who goes there in January after dark and beats the squirrel? No one. (Original) Aceste stele sunt ptr. programul ciudat care este de la 8-12 și 16-20. Cine se duce pe acolo în ianuarie după ce se lasă întunericul și mai bate și crivățul? Nimeni.
