Great in all aspects -- Great service, great prices, great atmosphere. Plenty of tables, with outlet access. A great place to enjoy games with friends. I hope to see them expand a bit on the back. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner, as there was pee on the floor, but it doesn't detract from the experience.

I love this place, and find it to be the best card/game store in the area. Covid killed a bunch of game stores, but this one only moved locations. Never visited the old location. I come here pretty frequently and every staff member I've come across was very nice, knowledgeable, and able to hold good conversation. I've also sold cards here for very fair prices. Their prices are more than reasonable as well. The selection is awesome in all areas including games, sleeves, deck boxes, card storage, singles, packs, binders, dice, board games and accessories. Keep in mind this is a card store and not a hobby store. Inventory revolves arounds cards only so don't expect a selection of paintable figures and stuff like that. They buy bulk magic cards for one of the highest prices iv'e seen at 7$ per thousand. 3-4$ is what i usually come across. The card games covered here include magic and pokemon which they have both packs and singles as well as a bunch of boxed sets. They also carry packs of flesh and blood, metazoo, yugiyo, final fantasy and probably more i didnt notice. If you like magic, pokemon or flesh and blood this place is great and it's really worth checking out.

My bf and I recently became interested in Pokémon cards because they’re nostalgic and really fun to open together. We journeyed 30 mins to see this store, but I had no real intention on purchasing cards for myself. Upon entering the store, I was greeted by the guy behind the register (owner). The small business owner was very kind, patient, trustworthy, knowledgeable, and passionate. His store is small and cozy, so The Card Nest is the perfect name for his retail store in Jefferson Plaza (2nd floor). There was a constant stream of people for the 20-30 mins that I was there. The location was a little hard to find because there is no big sign at the Jefferson Plaza, but the owner is responsive and picked up the phone to let me know where to go. The owner’s excellent customer service and passion for cards is what got my bf and I to spend $113 and $89 respectively, for various packs of Pokémon cards. We bought some booster packs for $3.99, some for $4.99, and booster packs that came with a mini binders (the binders hold 60 cards) for $4.99. The big boxes with the extra large display cards were $20-25 each. The build and battle boxes were $20 each. The owner’s prices are very fair. I felt like he could have easily charged more for these cards, but he told us he actively sets the prices to be lower than competitors. He also warned us about not purchasing card packs with inflated prices, since Pokémon cards have been hard to obtain because distributors can’t seem to provide and restock fast enough. Overall, a very pleasant experience. I would go again.

One of the best card shops in the state. Always tons of stock on release (and sometimes before release). All of the employees are extremely polite, friendly and helpful. They always have good prices, landing about even with market prices. It's a great place to sit down, open some packs, and play some games whether it be pokemon, magic or any other tcg they are always stocked with sealed product and singles. 10/10

Great staff very knowledgeable and it’s a pleasure going in there, knowing that they remember who I am and they’re always greeting every person that walks in the door. Every person gets the same treatment no matter if they’re only in their buying one deck of cards or buying a ton of boxes and everything it doesn’t matter they will pay and give each Respect and help would recommend this to anybody. They also do parties for kids and game nights for adults so I recommend them to everybody and I would definitely check them out.

Awesome store. First time in with my 8 year old son. My son has always collected Pokémon cards but never knew what was real or fake nor did he know how to play. Owner and his wife were very friendly and we left with a Pokémon Battle Academy to learn how to play the game, I had a great night of playing our first game with my son! The owner also gave advice on how to identify real vs fake cards and invited us back for my son to bring his cards in for advice on what cards might be valuable to be placed aside. Very trusted gentleman and my son and I we will be returning! Thank you!

Really nice and cozy store. Staff is extremely friendly and very open to talk to. Was able to get some packs and a trainer box. Usually are stocked but staff said they sold out and are waiting to receive more shipment. Will def be coming back from now on.
