Super troublesome to cancel membership. They make you to go in on specific days during specific hours to cancel. Not the entire gym hours are available for the task. Difficult to cancel if you have busy schedule. additional: when i walked in on Tue based on their instruction, the account manager told me i signed up an annual contract and cannot cancel. Asked him to provide a contract with my signature and they were not able to. Well, I paid a higher rate when i signed up for month to month. Besides that, he told me if i wanted a sheet of payment details listed out, he would not be able to cancel the membership today either. The manager is forever on phone and absolutely care nothing about the mistakes and terrible attitude of their staff. She as a matter of fact is the worst. otherwise guess why their staff behave this way? Gang gym. DO NOT GO if you do not want to cancel payment on credit card and dispute with collection agency, which I will. so interesting the the owner cannot even address any real issues in his comment but keep talking nonsense

I went to this place to become a member of the gym. I read bad reviews from the websites about the manager, but I didn’t take them seriously, at first. Don’t waste your money on this gym. Look at all of the other reviews and see the problem – her name is Tracy, the manager. She’s extremely rude and does not know what customer service means in the least. She is extremely aggressive and loud and unfortunately with her as manager this gym will go down. Very badly run. If the manager has no manners how can her employees have them? I asked to speak to her after being treated rudely by someone at the front desk. She is so over the top it’s shocking. Walked Away from the rude employees and ruder general manager and joined another gym that understands what customer service means.

Got a tour in Palisadium gym a few weeks ago, the sales guy was very friendly, professional plus the beautiful NYC view and the good size of swimming pool...almost got me signup. However after chatting with a few members from the gym, it seemed that everyone, men and women, all complaining about woman manager, her disrespectful behavior, her nasty personality, her unprofessional communication style, her poor management skill, etc. I was in a couple gyms before and never heard so many complaints about 1 person, something must be wrong with management of the gym. Definitely not want to be part of the Gym!

Under new management and a new name, the very popular Palisadium Gym has Reopened. It has been upgraded and updated including a new Pilates room with reformers and a private workout area. I took a walk through on 10/27 and was impressed by the progress.

It took me a long time to get a hold of her, but I finally was able to complain to the manager of the gym about my card not clicking in. Her response to this was to tell me that I was committing insurance fraud if I asked her to manually put in the 3 days that did not click in. Is this not unbelievable? That's in a sense accusing me of lying. I also made a complaint about a staff member. After an employee was rude to me and would not tell me his name I went to the manager, Tracy is her name, whose response was to scream at me and tell me, a grown woman in her 50s, who teaches traumatized children, that I was suspended from the gym for a month!! Imagine how humiliated and insulted I felt as she screamed this in front of her staff. I felt so threatened by her, attacked by her and her distance to me telling me to leave the gym right now. I am not a hoodlum. I did not threaten anyone, do damage to property or hurt anyone in any way and this was her response to my complaints; this is how she treated me.I have never heard of going to a manager with a complaint and having her suspend you from the gym!. I was completely shocked, insulted and humiliated at her screaming that she would suspend me in front of everyone. This is what you can expect from customer service at this gym and, unfortunately, the owners stand by her. I've heard other people complain about her as well. The story continues even more shockingly, but I think it best to not talk about that part for the moment .

The coach is an absolute fraud. She makes us pay the lesson fee in cash and refuse to teach. She first agreed on teaching two with each instructor for 30 min a day but only the coach was there. She also taught other people at the same time during the private lessons. Don’t sign up for this. This is scam. I am reporting this facility for a fraud.

Paid $60 per swimming lesson × 10, total $600. Coach name was Juya who absolutely disgusted and incompetent. Asked for refund for remaining lessons and they refuse to do it. Facility is not maintained and dirty as well. Go elsewhere. Ps: You, the coach left a 3 year old kid alone in adult pool during his time in the private lesson to teach other group and my kid drank pool water. You screamed at us to clean first and kick us out. We are paying customer, not your cleaner. After that incident do you think we want the make up lesson? Get real

Best gym I’ve been to with a great view and awesome location. No facility is perfect but whenever an issue arises the management/staff are quick to respond. With new management came new equipment, new staff, and upgrades. The pool is cleaner than ever and the lifeguards have maintained an order, (especially with the lanes) that hasn’t been seen before. You are greeted and treated with the utmost respect in this gym. When you have a chance come check out the aquatics lessons they are fantastic!

I am blessed indeed by hearing from a friend this gym is in operation, it gets my life back with daily swimming and sauna. I introduced it my friend from New York and she loves it. She comes over from New York each time just for the beautiful and clean pool, gym facility, specially the sauna. This morning I went to the gym, I attended the free classroom training on bodywork and I felt the difference of my body coached by the professional trainer. This gym is a real hidden gem, with Olympic size pool, sauna, classroom training, plus the spacious gym room, the money well spent

One of the best gyms I've been to. Love the atmosphere and one of the only gyms in the area with a pool. The lanes are always organized and the area is constantly clean. Everyone is friendly and willing to help/answer any questions. Overall Ive recommended this gym to all my friends and family and think it's a perfect fit for people of all ages!

My 7 y.o. son took 7 private lessons with Juya so far and now can swim all 4 strokes beautifully. She is patient but also strict at the same time. She always communicates with you what your kids’ strengths are and what she is working on with them to be better. The best swim coach I’ve ever met. I am also looking forward for my son to join the swim team next week! The Olympic size pool with nice city view is beautiful and very clean. Staffs are super friendly. Highly recommend Palisadium.

I see that someone is clearly making fake reviews here. I am not one to write reviews but I do not like what I see here. The reviews about management / and her name is TRACI are far off. Honestly she is exactly what this gym has needed for a very long time. If you have an issue following rules or procedures you will not be happy at any gym you join. The gym has never been so full of members and positive energy. There is a great new type of vibe here since Traci came aboard. The classes are better. The staff is better. We actually have a manager that cares and knows the gym. No one has taken a minute to write how nice the new paint looks on the gym floor, the new spin room that was built, the Muay Thai room that was built, the new equipment on the floor, all the updates that she made sure happened for us members. You should be ashamed of yourself for writing a ridiculous review. Us old time members that know this place well love TRACI here and want her to stay. I am speaking for a very large community here at the gym. We are team Traci all the way.

This gym has so much to offer including a wide range of equipment, huge space and great view. The gym and locker rooms are spotless and the steam/sauna rooms are a wonderful bonus. There is an enclosed parking garage with room for hundreds of cars. The gym is managed by Vinny Que who brings years of experience both running gyms and as an extraordinary personal trainer. His knowledge of nutrition and anatomy really adds to his personal style and has been such an enhancement to my results. I am so happy I joined a few months ago.

Palisadium Swim and Gym has a wonderful facility from its equipment to locker room/showers and service. I’ve been fortunate to train with Vinny Que - a very knowledgeable pro body builder and an overall awesome individual. I have experienced positive results under his guidance. I would highly recommend this facility and service!

The Palisadium gym is a gem ! The facilities are pristine, well kept, the view of NYC is unbeatable and of course the people that work at the gym are fenomenal! In my personal experience with Vinny the Manager of the gym and my personal trainer for 15 years all is perfect! Covers all my bases as an athlete, and will recommend 100% this amazing place to everyone that seeks for the whole first class experience Gym and Spa .

I have been living in this area for 35 years and never knew about this wonderful Gym, it was a nice discovery. Very Clean, amazing swimming pool, lots of exercise machines, plenty of parking. Definitely the largest and best one in the area.

Their machine does not work, and the general manager is the nastiest person I’ve seen with the worst attitude. The treadmill was not working and when I complained about it, her solution was go use something else. If you don’t believe this, before signing up, just check how many treadmills are actively working. The worst part is that it could really be a very nice gym if they cared About maintaining it. I am in process of canceling my membership and join Anytime Fitness which is a lot more friendly and modern.

As far as I see they have the best gim a a pool in NY area. But there's some problems with the shower and souna. Sometimes it's not working.

The Palisadium Swim and Gym is wonderful. Always clean with amazing views. Vinny is a sensational trainer! He is understanding and patient with a wealth of knowledge. Happy to work with him, on my fitness journey!

We signed up for 10 lessons this summer that included private and group classes. Both my girls learned a lot with Coach Juya. Their skills and techniques improved significantly. We tried different swim schools in the area in the past and I can absolutely recommend this one over all others.

The pool is amazing the service operates smoothly if there is a problem the staff will fix it as fast as possible. The view of the river is so beautiful too! In conclusion I feel that everyone should sign up for membership here too.

I can't express enough how much this club has transformed not only my fitness journey but also my entire outlook on health and community. This gym is a hidden gem, and I'm thrilled to share my experience with all of you.

A hidden gem! A great gym with all the equipment you can possibly need. Can't forget about that amazing nyc view. Never too crowded and is very spacious with multiple places to stretch/do your own workout. There's also a juice bar inside. Traci, the manager is very welcoming and accommodating. I've been to many gyms, but this is by far my favorite.

The gyms a good place to work out and view the city to exercise and enjoy it, however there's the occasional problems with the pool, equipment and staff but as along as you're not in trouble, then everything is fine. They have a juice snack which the 2 people who work there are genuinely nice. The staff are nice and helpful as long as you don't piss them off and the managers nice unless you get her bad side. personally i think the shower needs little renovation work. The membership is little pricey. Overall good place.

This gym is so big and everyone is so nice here. I work out with Constantine and I love the training. The amenities are a plus, swimming pool, sauna....The juices at the juice bar are so yummyyy :-))) and that view is amazing
